we have family living in Freestone so this hotel was in a great place for us The staff were very helpful

My parents are elderly and not able to get around easily we liked the room but a bit more space would have been helpful

The owner was rude, the room/facilities I booked was not available and he did not care, he woke us up at 6.45am and it was very unclean

DO NOT STAY HERE. This was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. I booked through booking.com for a 2-bed twin share, without an issue, however on arrival I was told that there was no accommodation. Now, when I say I was 'told' what I mean is that I was yelled at by the rudest business owner I've come across. The owner (Warren) told me that it was not his problem, that he didn't care, and that booking.com stuffed up. He then lied about having sent me a cancelation email (we looked it up in his system and no communication had taken place). He was then magically able to find another room, which we later found out was his own room which was full of his own stuff including toothbrush and medications etc, and only had one bed where my mate and I had to share. In the morning he argued with me that I needed to pay full price for the room. Not once did he apologise. The place is littered with junk, is dirty and grimy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Breakfast was good. Location was good too. Not far from the city. The owner and staff were very accommodating. Our room was clean and if we needed something they provided it. grounds well maintained
