The porter driver, helper was amazing! Good English, good banter always helpful. Clean, huuuge room. Brand new motorbikes to hire.

Reception is rarely attended, can make organising trips/bikes/laundry awkward. Internet speed not as good as other places. Balcony chairs were broken. Minor points!

We had to move our reservation because the ferries were cancelled. The hotel did this with no problem and were able to accommodate us for different dates. The staff were fabulous! The room was huge, clean, comfy bed and had a little kitchen area which was fantastic. The breakfast was good and delivered to our room every morning. What a gem of a hotel!

The property is nice (spacious, simple and minimalistic design), the administrator is helpful and welcoming.

The property is a bit too far from the main beach. Also, the variety of possible breakfast options is not so big (only 4 types), plus it had to be ordered to specific time and in the evening before, which was always a bit uncomfortable.

we had a great stay at matina mountain! the staff was super welcoming & took great care of everything. the rooms are very spacious & everything is clean. the location is excellent (considering you drive a scooter) because you reach all the restaurants & bars within minutes but since it is in the dschungel it is quite & calm!

the breakfast isn’t the best but since it is for free we have no complaints!

The moderrn Room was very big and lots of light coming in from the glass doors. It´s situated uphill so you should have a scooter to drive around the island. It was also super quiet which I liked a lot and the bed is very comfy. The Owner and his staff are very friendly, he even gave me free pickup and dropped me off at the pier. The view is stunning and I had ocean view as well. I absolutley enjoyed my stay!

Breakfast was very simple and there could have been more decoration like plants on the terrace to make it more cozy. The bathroom is also very simple, would be nicer with more details in this price range. pillows on daybed outside were worn out. This was all not too bad but just adjustments I want to give.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The resort is located in a good central location. You would need a scooter as it is very steep. The bed is big and extremely comfortable. The teras and the room is spacious. They bring the breakfast to your room at the time you request. They also provide transfer from and to the pier. We enoyed our stay very much here.

The beds were sooo comfy and clean, great pool, amazing view, the room service is a thing! Breakfast quite nice, but boring, staff is super helpful and very communicative, they took us from the port to the apartment. The apartment and pool are bigger than the photos show, also the pool is deeper, what of course was an advantage

Breakfast is boring, only eggs, sausage/ham, toasts or rice soup, coffee was very bad, ants in the room, shower drain needs the plumber, the water was not going down :(

You have to rent a scooter. But you can it at the place.

Location is only 10 mins from the beach, but not a nice road to climb on so needs scooter/taxi. The pool was a bit too cold. Warm but not hot water at showers

The villa with the view to the beach - has just a glimpse to the sea, don't get your hopes too high You HAVE to be mobile - the resort is high, although the walking distance is short it is an uphill with a serious incline.. Not suitable for everyone, you have to take a bike/taxi

Amazing place, looks even better than the pictures, nice breakfast to the room. Very very comfortable bed. Naing was super helpful with all that we needed and even helped us order trips and ferry tickets. Came to pick us up to the hotel even in 6am!

Possible but a little bit hard to get there if you're going by foot.

Breakfast served in the room. Every day same eggs. Motorbikes was a little bit expensive. Area of hotel is not really great.

The guy at the reception (who seemed to be doing everything else as well) was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable and room was large. Motorbikes can be conveniently rented at the property for 200baht/day.

- The resort is half-finished in terms of construction, there's an attempt to make it a 'design' thing but the walls (especially bathroom) are obviously peeling off, there's clear clay being damaged by water and this gives a bit of an unpleasant and unclean feeling. - Breakfast is extremely basic and a little disappointing, it is served to your room. You literally can't even have coffee and juice (choose one only) or Bacon and ham (choose one). - Pool water is extrememly cold, we couldn't even get it. Also the artificial grass around the premises and on rooftops is a bit weird (artificial grass in Thailand, really?). - There is no common area to sit at, no place to buy a drink or some food. Overall it's ok, but for the price we've paid, we were a bit disappointed.

if you don’t drive a scooter the walk to the hotel could be a little bit though. Apart that everything was a 10!
