Fernando and Esmerelda have a lovely facility. We were originally due to stay at the apartment in April 2020 prior to the pandemic and when we were rebooking the trip 3 years later we made sure to book the same place. The apartment was lovely. A little sitting area + kitchen + washer/ dryer + bathroom downstairs and bedroom upstairs. We arrived quite late due to a train delay in Faro. The apartment is located a < 5 minute walk from both the bus station and train station which made arriving very easy. Because we got in late we knew all the supermarkets were closed and we were wondering what to do about dinner. We needn't have worried because the welcome pack was there to greet us as we were able to whip up something for the night. The apartment had everything you could want - The hosts have truly thought of everything you might need. Faro was a great base to explore the algarve - I only wish we were spending more time in the Algarve as I really loved the time there.

The ladder/ stairs to the bedroom is quite narrow - fine for me but a bit more of a challenge for my less mobile mum. Just a caution! Parking can be challenging in the streets around the apartment - I always found one though!

This is a very comfortable compact apartment that didn’t feel cramped. it had a well equipped kitchen with appliances above and beyond toaster and kettle. Good integrated oven and microwave. Thoughtful complementary provisions in the fridge and basics such as olive oil vinegar salt and pepper made self catering easy. other thoughtful extras included an umbrella. beach umbrella and tote basket Great location less than 1 minute from Bus Terminal and 4 minutes from the Train Station. Very close to the old walled quarter and in the middle of the entertainment area with multiple bars and restaurants

Not really a complaint but the spiral staircase makes moving luggage upstairs a bit challenging. Having said that it also creates more circulation space downstairs which is a plus

This is probably one of the best apartments I've stayed in. It was super clean, well and comfortably furnished and extremely well equipped. It felt really spacious and had everything we needed. It was also in a great location!

To get to the bedroom there are internal stairs which are steep may be a challenge. Not recommended if you have any disabilities.

Was good position for the Marina and restaurants ,the welcoming pack was very nice, parking was very easy for motorcycle (Faro moto clube concentration week)all facilities in the studio were excellent

The spiral staircase is very stylish, I could see it being an issue with elderly people. Personally, no issues, I am only 68,

Very central location, calm during the night. Everything was perfect during our stay, and we had a wonderful moment.

Behavior of the owners - Fernando and Esmeralda. They organized for us a pick-up at the airport by taxi company, who drove us to the property. Since we arrived at the midnight there was a basic food awaiting us in the fridge -ham, cheese, butter, apples, orange juice and - bottle of wine and two biers! Apart of that a pack of bread- what a nice surprice!

All was ok. This is a quiet property in a very central location - 5 min to main square, 1 min to a bus terminal and 3 min to a train station. Equipment of the property is 100% sufficient for a long stay.

we stayed at Blue Barqueta studio for four nights while we were visiting Faro. This accommodation really is superb. the studio is in a great location two two minutes from the main bus station and right in the heart of Faro. everything is on your door step and within easy walking distance. the accommodation is really present. exceptionally clean and well maintained. on arrival the host had left us a welcome pack that included bread, milk, ham, cheese, water, orange juice, coffee, tea bags, and fruit. I thought this was fantastic. the accommodation has everything you need right down to shower gels and shampoo! the hosts have catered for everyone. we would definitely recommend this place and when we return we will book again.

The accommodation was superb. Clean, well arranged and very well equipped. The hosts left a welcome basket which was very generous too! Location was very good and walking distance to everything in Faro. Highly recommended.

I liked everything, but folk might need to be aware that the space is not large (although well designed) and getting to the bedroom means going up a spiral staircase so anyone with mobility issues needs to be aware. Parking, although free in surrounding streets, etc could be challenging at times.

We had such a comfortable stay here. The location is excellent - five minutes walk from the station, even nearer to buses, very close to bars and restaurants and yet so quiet at night! The hosts Esmeralda & Fernando were very helpful before our stay, providing information about Faro and agreeing to a late check-out. The door code system worked well so we never actually met them however! They had left us a fridge full of everything we needed for a simple meal on arrival (bread, cheese, juice, beer, wine and apples), although we chose to eat out all the time and only used the juice one thirsty afternoon. Nevertheless we appreciated the gesture. We booked the airport transfer through them for our arrival as we were landing fairly late in the day. It all worked smoothly and only cost a few euros more than the airport taxis would have done - worth it for the convenience and peace of mind. On our way home we used the local bus which was very convenient as we were so near the terminal, and we used the same bus route one day to visit the beach. We also took the train to Tavira one day but otherwise we were able to easily walk to all the sights of Faro within a maximum ten minutes or so from the studio!

It would be very hard to find anything to criticise here - it's great value for money and a perfect base for a stay in Faro!

Immaculate and stylish apartment set on a little lane seconds from the bus station and old town restaurants and shops etc. Nice and bright living space/kitchen area, large and comfortable bedroom on the mezzanine via the spiral staircase. The service was next level! Not only were all instructions clear and concise, we were able to check in early and were left a welcome package of bread, wine, beer, water, cheese, eggs and ham. Could not have been a better service.

I travel a lot and this was the cleanest most well appointed place I have stayed in anywhere. It was like everything was brand new just for us. The hosts were amazing and provided everything we needed and more. location is great, very close to all the sights in Faro. Absolutely great!

On the top level it was rather hot as we don't like to sleep with air conditioning on.
