Cosy apartment in Achrafieh, Beirut
The Space
This is a 170 sqm sunny furnished apartment on the 4th floor of a residential building. It includes a large balcony, 2 bedrooms (2 beds each), 2 full bathrooms (1 bathtub), kitchen, family room, living room and dining room.
The apartment has AC units in the bedrooms, living room, dining room and family room. In winter, central heating is available.
The kitchen is fully equipped: microwave, oven, gas stove, fridge, kitchenware and washing machine. Moreover, you'll have at your disposal all kind of eating and cooking utensils as well as a a food processor, juicer, iron and iron board.
The apartment and the building elevator are powered by a generator during Beirut's power outages (3 hours daily during daytime) so you should have 24/7 electricity.
Beirut has a lack of sufficient available water resources, in other words we don't receive water on a daily basis. The apartment has a dedicated 2,000 liters water tank. However, carelessness usage of water will empty your water tank.
Guest Access
Fresh set of towels, bed sheets, blankets, pillows and bed covers.
Interaction with Guests
I live in the same building so if you need anything I am usually close by and available. You can also reach me by cellphone or email.
As for check-out, I can be flexible according to the flight departure time especially during week-end. I would appreciate that the guest notify me in case of flight plan changes.
I'm fluent in English, French and Arabic. So feel free to communicate via any of these languages.
The Neighborhood
Safe, Friendly and Quiet neighborhood where you can find just around the building all kind of stores for mobile lines, mini market (Le Caddie), fresh fruits and veggies, Banks (ATM), pharmacies, dry cleaners, hairdressers and bakeries (Wooden Bakery).
We are a walking distance to Sassine square, ABC mall and Spinneys supermarket (5 min), Mar Mikhael (10 min), Down Town and Gemmayze (15 min) for restaurants, pubs and nightlife.
Getting Around
Taxis are very easy to find. There are available 24/7 in the area.
Also downtown Beirut, Gemmayze, Monot St are all within 15min walk. ABC and Sassine square are 5 min walk.
Other Things to Note
Cleaning is done before and after each guest.
Airport transfer: if you'd like, I can arrange (in advance) a taxi driver to pick you up from the airport (or take you back) - if needed. Fees should be around 20 USD.

After a warm welcome, we had a terrific stay at this appartement. It is large and clean an has "a good vibe". The owner lives in the building (easy when the lights go down) and is very helpfull, Shops are around the corner. You can walk to the center, but you can also take a "service" (taxi) in the street anytime (they pass frequently). So, don't hesitate to book this appartement: you will like it!

The property was clean and spacious. The interaction with Roula was great, she stayed in touch to ensure we were having a great experience and nothing was too much. The location of the apartment is perfect, we were able to walk to most places within Beirut.

The apartment was clean and is appropriate for someone looking for a pied-a-terre while in Beirut. A couple of the beds were extremely hard and could use softer mattresses.
