Spacious living room and bedroom. Nice host. Generous facilties, even wine and liquor.

The description on the Booking.com website did not match. There was no sofa bed. Only one Queen bed. Too many decorations that have acquired years of dust. Unit needs deep cleaning and neater arrangements of facilities.

Joy had her place set up really nice and her home was welcoming. Everything was as described

I wish the TV was a smart TV

I like that it was close to alot of stores.

The shower head was loose and there was a metal spike exposed. There was barely any water pressure for the toilet. The keys that were provided didnt lock the front door so someone always had to stay inside to make sure we didnt get locked out.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Within 3 minutes walking distance to the next bus stop and 15 minutes bus ride to the next subway station. The bathroom was the cleanest room in the apartment. Original we had booked the apartment for 3 people but asked a few weeks before, if we can also come with 4 people. This was no problem, also no extra costs were charged.

The apartment is announced for 5 people, but there is only one Queen size bed. Three people need to sleep on a coach or on two folding beds. The dinning area is only for 4 people. The entire apartment is overcrowded with "decoration". We don't want to rate the kind or type of decoration as this is individual style. But the amount of stuff in the apartment is too much. Due to decoration there is almost no space at the dining area and we had to move a lot of stuff away before we could use the table. The kitchen was absolutely not useable even promoted as "cooking as home". We hardly found 3 plates, 4 cups and a box of plastic cutlery. The cupboards in the kitchen were filled with a mixture of stuff (things that have nothing to do with a kitchen) and trash. There was a broken bulk in the fridge and an old turkey in the freezer (please see a review from october where the turkey is also mentioned). All surfaces in the kitchen (work space, floor, cupboards, table) were sticky, all mirrors were dirty. Also the decorations in every room were dusty.

First, I had trouble to hear back from the property owner as I tried to reach out to the owner several times after the booking (called, texted, sent e-mails) without any response. Only when I sent a message saying if I don’t hear from the owner by the end of the day I will cancel the reservation I got a response. When I arrived at the property I was greatly disappointed. Property was filthy, sticky grease table, microwave, bath tub was disgusting and I wasn’t even planning to take a shower after. All mirrors were super dirty. Neighbors upstairs (assuming) were smoking marijuana and all the smell was getting into the property I was staying in. Bed was terrible, mattress was covered with plastic and every time you move it’s making the rustling/swishing sound so I tried not to move at all, didn’t sleep all night, pillows were different size. Thank God no bed bugs, that the only positive. Fridge was disgusting, rotten food was left in the fridge and freezer had old turkey left. And just over all very dirty, dusty, place and hard to sleep in as neighbors upstairs were walking on the squeaky floors all night long. I will not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quiet, clean place to sleep in. Very disappointed! My question is, what the cleaning fee is charged for? It doesn’t look like it was ever cleaned.
