Large Superior room with settee & window seats. Staff very attentive & pleasant. Good sized shower. Nice restaurant menu.
No heating until late pm. A lot of stairs!

Charming old building, a real inn. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom spotless. Friendly staff and a lovely breakfast, with good walks right from the door. Suited us down to the ground!

The breakfast was good, although I don't normally eat breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and the staff super nice. The food was good albeit the menu a bit limited.
My friend had a room facing the road, which was noisy.

Dee was very friendly showing us our lovely room. Our room was at the back so it was relatively quiet from the busy road.
The cooked breakfast was very well presented.
Unfortunately there wasn't enough hot water and our bath was rather cool.
The lady at breakfast was very unwelcoming and we were made to feel an inconvenience asking for things.
The WiFi was intermittent.
Our score of 6 reflects our opinion on the value for money, as it was quite expensive.
