A solo un paio di isolati dal centro, la posizione storica della Wild Rose è perfetta per raggiungere a piedi i ristoranti, i caffè, le gallerie e la navetta cittadina. Di fronte al Coal Creek si trova un meraviglioso cortile recintato con terrazza, vasca idromassaggio e barbecue per riunioni estive o un bel après-ski. Siediti sulla veranda e ascolta il torrente e osserva la gente del posto mentre legge il giornale o goditi il comfort interno di questa casa restaurata. La camera da letto principale con letto matrimoniale, soffitti a volta, pavimenti originali in legno, cabina armadio, TV e scrivania ha il proprio ingresso e si trova al piano terra, lontano dalla parte principale della casa. Il bagno adiacente è splendidamente piastrellato con vasca idromassaggio, doccia separata e doppio lavandino. Un grande mudroom piastrellato e un corridoio con due ingressi e ponti poggia tra la camera da letto principale e la cucina. Il ponte laterale è perfetto per un caffè mattutino o un aperitivo serale con vista sul torrente e sui fiori selvatici. La soleggiata cucina è piastrellata con ampio spazio sul bancone e una stufa a gas con vista aperta sull'accogliente soggiorno con camino a gas e nuova televisione a schermo piatto. Un ampio tavolo da pranzo in legno fa anche parte dell'open space. Finestre, pavimenti e foto storici creano una sensazione di calore e ammirazione per il restauro di questa casa.
Al secondo piano si accede dalla cucina accanto a un bagno ben piastrellato. Le doppie porte si aprono su una scala in moquette fiancheggiata da numerose foto storiche e due letti singoli nel corridoio superiore che si collega a una camera da letto matrimoniale separata e accogliente.
Sentiti come un locale mentre ti rilassi vicino al ruscello al The Wild Rose, una casa vacanza storica ristrutturata.

We had a lovely second stay at the Wild Rose. The house is very well cared for, and the communication about our visit was excellent and friendly. The house is well provisioned and very clean. The location is great, so close to Elk Street but away from any noise or commotion. The primary bedroom is particularly nice and spacious with high ceilings (it is approximately the same size as the rest of the house!). The living room is comfortable but quite small and not conducive for our family of five to hang out in or watch a movie, for example. That was the biggest downside for us, but we understand the small size is due to it being a historic property. The hot tub has a great view through the tree tops to the top of Crested Butte! Thanks very much for sharing your home with us!

The Wild Rose is the perfect home away from home to relax and let go. My family has stayed at The Wild Rose numerous times over the years. The spacious floor plan, spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen, this home has everything you need to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal with all the sides. It was our first Thanksgiving here, and I would spend the holiday at this vacation home again in a heartbeat. The town is quiet, with locals who are happy to greet you, with no shortage of shops open to find what you may have forgotten. I was happy to wake up each morning and warm by the stove, and at dusk watch the alpen glow as the sun set behind the Mt Crested Butte, all bundled up on the rocking chairs on the front porch!

This was a great spot in downtown Crested Butte. Right at the end of the main drag so a quick walk to all the great restaurants and shopping. Right in the midst of the weekend farmer's market and easy to make a quick exit up the beautiful pass. The house was clean with just the right amount of decor -- I actually took photos getting ready for my wedding here and there was just enough touches to make for great pictures but not too much stuff. Hot tub outside was great to relax!Great that this VRBO has a designated parking spot. Street spots were available, but just makes for even more convenience.

Shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, aluminum foil (for grilling) and plastic wrap for food storage were not provided so remember to bring any essentials you might need. Two bathrooms were on the first floor and two bedrooms were upstairs making it inconvenient to access. The property management company requires the beds to be stripped and sheets in washer with towels and started before leaving at 10am. We felt this was much to ask when paying a substantial cleaning fee. Of course, we put out all trash, started dishwasher, started the clothes washer with towels, swept up, etc. before we hit the road. The house with its add on rooms was charming and everything was clean. Neighbors were great! Sam, who works for the property management folks was fantastic! Location is perfect 👍
