House open on the countryside
Il nostro cottage è una dependance della nostra casa di famiglia, un ex presbiterio ai margini del villaggio aperto alla campagna. La nostra casa è composta da due livelli. Al piano terra, una cucina soggiorno con un divano che può servire come un letto per una persona e con una terrazza ombreggiata. Raggiungiamo il piano superiore con una scala, si compone di una grande camera da letto, un bagno con un lavandino e una doccia, toilette separata e una piccola biblioteca dell'ufficio. Tutto è totalmente indipendente dal resto della nostra casa, ma il nostro giardino, aperto sulla campagna, è accessibile a voi.

Sylvain and Katherine were ideal hosts who communicated well with us to ensure we arrived safely. They were PERFECT hosts who welcomed us, gave us lots of information, considerately stocked the kitchen with a welcome pack of groceries and invited us for drinks in their beautiful house and garden.
The cottage is ideal for 2 or 3 people with a lovely balcony and use of a gorgeous garden. If you have mobility issues the spiral staircase needs to be considered.
Our hosts introduced us to the perfect locations to visit and the best things to enjoy in the area. You MUST visit the river beach and Le Limau too.

This is an annexe that has the owners stamp on it and is all the better for it. As a bijou gite for 1 or 2 people it’s ideal. Albas is a fabulous location with easy access to the river, cycle routes and the vineyards. The whole area is utterly gorgeous! The sheltered terrace is lovely private space and you get a real sense of being part of the village. The walk behind the house up to the table d’orientation is well worth it, as is the red wine produced from the local vineyard. Sylvain the owner is a delight and made me feel very welcome, which as a solo traveller, was lovely.

Nous avons passé un bon moment dans cette petite maison joliment décorée et confortable, située dans un village au calmé près du Lot. Hôte intéressant et à l'écoute. Très bon accueil.

The cottage itself is lovely - very ancient and characterful but beautifully restored with a modern shower, wifi and all mod cons. All very clean and well presented. There is a pretty private terrace and also guests are welcome to sit or dine in other parts of the garden. But just as important for me was the welcome from the hosts. They live next door and are on hand to assist but also respect the guests privacy. They were very helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this little house for a single traveller or a couple and I should think I might go back again one day.
