Dolphin Motel

The place was comfortable place was clean. And it was in a good location to where our destinations for the days were.

The room was a little chilly. It would’ve been nice to have extra blankets.

Typical motel configuration, not recent but clean and all items necessary were available and working properly

The rooms are small

The location was perfect, while too far to walk into Tofino, there is a collection of businesses for dinner (outside seating) within walking distance and we had brought groceries so we could prepare light meals in the fully equipped kitchen (anything you need to cook and dine, even place mats). Our building was the one set back from the road and very quiet at night. Short walk to beaches and to The Wickaninnish for coffee with a view. Good biking path. The suite, furniture, and decor is dated but spotlessly clean. We stayed at the end of the busy summer season but found the staff very friendly and attentive. You get what you pay for and this was a more affordable stay that many in the area.

The very noisy bathroom fan turns on when you hit the light switch which is annoying at night when you're trying to not wake anyone. The walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbours' conversations and early morning check out. But it's a motel and the structures are old so that was to be expected. We had a corner unit #2 which was nice, no neighbours on the other side.

Walking distance from the beach. Good shower.

Bed was hard & small. Very small room and worn out
