Rockview Cottage: Peaceful Lake Champlain Retreat, Private
Torna indietro nel tempo a Rockview, un cottage estivo costruito intorno al 1900 come rifugio estivo per una famiglia locale di Keeseville e mantenuto fino ad oggi da quella stessa famiglia. Goditi la baia semi-privata di Rockview e la spiaggia di sabbia, il nostro molo per imbarcazioni da 25 piedi, i cieli scuri e tutte le meraviglie della natura nelle montagne Adirondack. I punti salienti includono un portico completamente schermato con una vista panoramica sul lago Champlain, una posizione lontana dal rumore e dal caos delle città (anche se sentirete un treno passare di tanto in tanto), una sistemazione confortevole per dormire, una cucina completamente attrezzata, veranda altalena, e il nostro bellissimo cortile sul lago con pini sussurrando, uccelli, amaca e posti a sedere sedia Adirondack.

We had a great week!! We loved the porch and walking down to the beach. Beautiful view of Lake Champlain and Burlington. Bedding, towels and beach towels were provided and everything felt very clean. It was a pretty warm week, we were happy to have fans in each room. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The binder of information about the cabin and surrounding area was very helpful. Great communication with Jim about our stay. We loved everything about our vacation! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family!

An old fashioned, rustic family camp on Lake Champlain with great views and a neat path down the hill to a nice sandy beach in a protected cove. Private and quiet but a shared beach with friendly neighbors. A big screened in porch and comfy beds were perfect for a laid back family gathering.

It was a cute house on the lake in a remote area. We had a relaxing stay. We enjoyed our stay there.

The location of the cabin is spectacular and it is well stocked and comfortable. Good quality towels and linens included.Remembering it is a rustic cabin with old-world charm lets one overlook some minor inconveniences like no drinkable water on tap, very low water pressure for the shower, etc. . We were very grateful that Wifi was added this year and worked great!Overall, we had a very good week as a family sheltering together in the pandemic. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time and enjoyed swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The kitchen is very workable to cook in and well stocked, but if you want to order pizza , we recommend Guiseppe's pizza in Keeseville!!
