Phenomenal stay. The apartment sits right on top of Scoops ice cream which puts you right in the heart of La Jolla Shores, seconds from dining/shops, and just minutes from the beach. The unit was wonderful. Very comfy. Plenty of space for our family of 5. All the necessary amenities. Comfortable and tastefully decorated. They have all the beach toys, towels, and a wagon to pull your stuff to the beach. Just a fantastic stay and we look forward to the next time!

Ocean Breeze Getaway was a fantastic vacation. What a great location and the apartment was clean and cozy. We loved sitting on the balcony patio watching the people. We were close to everything we love about La Jolla. We will definitely chose this place again in the future.

The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The location can't be beat and it was wonderful to have a parking space and all the beach gear included. The patio was a great place to unwind while taking in the activity on the street and the smell of waffle cones from down below. The host is quick and helpful if anything arises. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband, mother, and I stayed here so the two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our situation. Lovely, comfortable apartment, well appointed with everything we needed. Loved the patio. Leti was very responsive and kind when we messaged her with a few questions. And the location could not be beat! Within 5 minutes of the beach and a wide array of food options. For those who enjoy a slightly longer walk, it's an easy walk to La Jolla Cove and the Birch Aquarium too. Would absolutely stay here again.

great location. There were no cleaning supplies in the kitchen or bathroom so that i could cleanup with something besides water and a sponge.
there needs to be a real iron board. the one that was there was useless.
would like to have had more paper towels, kleenex would have been nice and garbage bags to replace garbage cans when removing trash

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mi Casa. The property was in great shape, had everything we needed, and the second bathroom was a nice bonus.
The location was perfect, plenty of excellent food choices just steps away, 2 blocks away a gorgeous beach. We couldn't have found a better place for our girls trip.

Great rental in a great location. Unit is well stocked with towels and beach supplies, as well as, kitchen supplies. Nice private deck off the living room. The beds and bedding were super comfortable. Owner was quick to respond to inquiries. I would definitely recommend.

This condo is right above an ice cream shop about one block from La Jolla shores. With easy access to many restaurants and shops, you'll never need to get in the car. (Parking is difficult in this area, and you get one space behind the building. )
Two bedrooms and sofa bed accommodated our family of five very well. Kitchen is minimal but clean. The check in instructions on verbo and in print need updating, but the email instructions are correct. Manager is very responsive and helpful.
The best part of this property is the large patio overlooking the Avenida and a peek of the shores. Beautiful. Can't wait to return.

This was our second stay with my family. Can't beat the location and short walk to the beach. Loved having nice restaurants on the street and treated ourselves to Scoops nightly. Beds were really comfortable.

A great beach stay
We are La Jolla regulars, and know the area pretty well. The location is great. Quick walk to the beach which is key when with a 5 year old! The best part was definitely the patio. It got great sun, but also had a wonderful shade that could be brought down. The ice cream shop below was wonderful, and the restaurants all walking distance. The place was perfect for a small family.

Location, location....
So many reviews have mentioned the brilliant location so I'll move on to other things (except to say: location is BRILLIANT!). Beds are very comfortable. Both showers are very good, especially the en-suite. Storage is excellent. WiFi is excellent - fast and reliable. Local restaurants are great, from fast and fun to refined dining - all within a minute or three on foot. Parking was great - good space and easy access in the alley behind. Laundry was a great benefit, despite being shared. Dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker and microwave all good quality, in good order and easy to use. In January, most of the balcony remains in shade, but there is always sun on the chairs overlooking the street - perfect for us. An awning was being fitted to give shade as we left - great for when the sun is higher in the sky. The owners are very helpful and quick to respond. Crockery could be improved (it's mainly melamine) but most of the cooking utensils you might want are there. We had no problems with noise or smells from the street. It's true the refuse collectors come very early some days but they are gone within moments. All in all, we had a superb month here and would gladly come again.

Amazing location!
This was our second time staying here. We love it! So close to the beach and right in the middle of all the restaurants and there's ice cream right below! Fit our family of 4 just right, 2 kids 5 & 7. Large outdoor patio was great to hang out and anjoy dinner. Owner is friendly and always able to help with any concerns. Definately recommend

Beautiful La Jolla!
We searched long and hard for the perfect location and place to stay for our annual visit to La Jolla. I booked another property then found Mi Casa. Perfect size, perfect location, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, room air conditioners and the best part - the balcony! Easy directions and access to the residence, all doors had codes and laundry is on site. We wanted for nothing! Leti was quick to respond to any questions and we were able to check in 4 hours early due to a change in our flight. Wonderful hospitality and the perfect place to spend 4 beautiful days in beautiful San Diego. Thank you for a great stay!!!

We had a great time staying here for a few days while we were touring colleges in the area with our daughter. They had made some updates recently and everything was maintained nicely. The rooftop was the best part - we spent the majority of the time out there! If we were in town again we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location!
Went with my parents (68, 70), son and his girlfriend (18, 19), niece (24) and myself (47). We went to Disneyland, The San Diego Zoo, La Jolla Cove, and had a blast. The convenience to run down the stairs to the Scoop for crepes, sundaes, and milkshakes was impossible to resist. The beds were ridiculously comfortable. I shared a bed with my niece and the room with my son and his girlfriend and was prepared to lose sleep. Not so- I was asleep within minutes and awoke refreshed. The deck in the morning for coffee and in the evenings for the sunset was perfect. I emailed the host with a question and he answered-- in person-- within the hour. Hoping to go back next year for a longer stay. We had everything we needed and then some. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Unique property
What a great and unique unit above Scoops ice cream on fun and busy Ave de la Playa, which has nice shops and restaurants. Clean and comfortable unit for two adults and three teenage kids. Less than 5 minute walk to beach. Amazing deck lookout over the street. Two bathrooms and small but functional kitchen. Street got quiet around 11 PM and busy again by 8 AM. A/C in rooms was nice for warm nights and for "white noise" when adults were ready for bed before the outdoor street dining was done for the night. Parking space out back was convenient since parking in La Jolla Shores can be difficult. Owners were kind and responsive. Thank you!!
