Autunno per questa caratteristica casa con tre camere da letto nel cuore del centro di Saint Charles. La casa è a pochi passi da negozi e ristoranti di Mainstreet. Con il Casinò proprio dietro l'angolo e il parco fluviale a pochi passi di distanza, è difficile annoiarsi. La casa è stata completamente ristrutturata con elettrodomestici moderni, mentre sono stati in grado di mantenere l'atmosfera della città vecchia. La casa è gestita dal vicino per la tua comodità. Disponibile parcheggio fuori strada.

Thoughtful details throughout the home: framed instructions in kitchen & living room, kleenex, &double ply toilet paper, towel hooks over the furnace register (warmtowels!),coffee pods,creamer, &sugar, motion light illuminating stairs& porch, porch light left on & the house was warm upon arriving, black wash cloth(makeup transfer after washing face), complimentary shower soap, shampoo,& conditioner, portable crib in master bedroom, the refrigerator was cold and ready to be used, and there's a firestick in the smart TV with remotes. The katy trail access is 10 ft from the back door. 2 block walk to fantastic restaurants & shops.
Things to know from (my) a traveler perspective: concrete steep stairs in the rear, concrete stairs in front, not as steep. The pet fee is per pet, and you'll need to message the host before you arrive to pay as VRBO defaults to 1 pet. It wasn't in the listing as of this review. The yard is fenced in, but is shared (garbage too) with the neighbor. They left gates open during our stay. There's also a very short section of fence that pets & maybe kids can get over/through as it's not very secure.The garbage cans are directly under the master bedroom window. The neighbor startled us when tossing put their trash at 7:30am- we reported to the property manager & he responded quickly & appropriately. There's no lock on the basement door- hazard for smaller children. Overall, this is a value & well managed rental.

Location is great, hard to find in dark as its off ally way. Too many stairs and uneven floors for elderly people, even walkway down from 4th street has uneven and lifting concrete. Ceiling fans and floor grates were very dirty and had cobwebs, bedroom corners need attention also. Stairs down to basement utility room very steep and slick so be careful. Communication with owner/property manager was good.

It was a cute place, my only suggestion is to update your instructions in the house/ emails they are conflicting. Very small detail has a lovely time.

Perfect house with reactiv owners

We were looking for a place within walking distance to the St Charles Historic district and this was perfect! Owner sent us check in details beforehand, checked in during stay, and the house was just what we were looking for. Check out was easy. Highly suggest walking the 2 blocks to good news brewery for a drink and La belle Vie for coffee and breakfast- great atmosphere at both! Will definitely consider staying here in the future.

I hate leaving bad reviews. But this place is not what is advertised on here. The ceiling in the living room is falling in. The sewage smell in the other bedroom by the bathroom was awful. The closet smelled like something died. Also I had to wipe down the trim and door jam area because it was black. My opinion they need to check for mold I really don’t get how every review is almost a 5 star. My kids wanted to leave the minute we pulled up. They are 16 and 17 so not little kids. We couldn’t even let our small dogs out front where it was fenced because the house next to us had a broken spindle on their deck where their giant dog hung over the property ready to jump in and get them or us. Easy fix and they just sat there one time while he growled. Also you really need a lock on the door inside leading to the basement. Anyone could break in down there all that’s holding it is a latch. The trash was overflowing and every morning we would wake up and there would be more put in there. It may have been renovated but it needs serious updates. My pregnant daughter had to sleep in the room that stunk like sewage. I know this is a lot but there were 5 of us that felt the same. When you pay almost $800 for a weekend you expect to get what’s pictured and to feel safe and have it clean. Again the pictures look great on here. But it’s not like that anymore.

The cottage was adorable with charm and the neighborhood was great. A walking trail in back and walkable to local shops and food.

We enjoyed our stay in St. Charles. Our host was helpful and easy to communicate with. We loved the setup of the house and found it cosy and comfortable. The location was not far from places in the area we visited and the neighborhood was quiet. We will certainly consider returning on another adventure!

We had a great stay at this home. The house is conveniently located just outside of Saint Louis and close to some little shops and restaurants. Everything was clean and orderly.
The kitchen only comes with a keurig and no filter for using your own grounds, so that is something to keep in mind. The pull out couch is very, very thin and I would not recommend having an adult use it. It worked fine for my 3 year old but if you are counting on using that 3rd bedroom for an adult, you might want to bring an air mattress instead.
The communication with the hosts was easy and quick. We were happy with our stay!

The house is very nicely appointed, easy to find, quiet neighborhood, but close to all the charm of Historic St. Charles. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with. Will stay here again!

Short walk to the St. Charles Historic Main Street and Katy Trail. Quick and easy drive to St. Louis area. This property is stocked with everything you will need for your stay. Property managers very accommodating.

Enjoyed our stay in St Charles. The house had everything we needed and more. Easy, clean, nicely decorated and lots of space. Really appreciated pet friendliness and ability to park large vehicle in drive.

This cute little house was perfectly located for us! The Katy Trail was easily accessed from the property and the yard worked out great for our dogs. The property manager was quick to respond to all our questions.

We had a great stay, location was easy to find, communication was great with the owner if/when we had questions. If we needed to come back this way we would stay again!

We enjoyed our night over as we needed a place to crash after a convention. This is the feel of a small guest house/cottage. However, the third room is really more of a small living room that you can close off and the furniture needs updated.

Was very comfortable and good location. We were able to walk the nearby trails with our dog and WiFi worked well as my husband was working from home Unfortunately due to COVID we did not go to the many cafes,etc nearby but did get take out from mission taco - excellent food and service.

Had to contact Vrbo to get checkin instructions from property manager. Back door lock didn’t work. Tv remotes had dead batteries. No complimentary water or coffee available. Cute little house. However, St Charles is a great place to visit.

This house was perfect for us and our dogs for a weekend visiting family. Everything we needed was in the home and it was very clean and decorated nicely.

We just stayed one night and enjoyed our stay. The coffee maker had grinds in it so we didn’t use it, and the exterior/yard needs improvement but inside was very cozy.
