Overall our stay was great. The layout of the interior is not conducive to large family gatherings, especially if family gathers around the kitchen as the family room is separated from kitchen area, though the kitchen does have a smaller seating area with a single couch. The following issues were raised to the property manager; they were very responsive, apologetic, and appreciative of us raising these concerns.
- The wrong garage door entry code was given on the information sent over, we were lucky that our call to one of the numbers was immediately returned and the correct code was given. Property manager acknowledge that they realized they needed to be proactive in letting us know.
- The front walkway to the main door was not shoveled, so we couldn’t access the main door at any time during our stay.
- Previous occupants had left garbage under the bar sink and it had grown mold on it leaving that area smelling of mold. We avoided that part of the house (family room) and I did not feel comfortable touching their garbage.
- Pillow cover in one of the bedrooms downstairs (the one closed to garage door) was pretty dirty.
- Some things never replenished; e.g. no salt in kitchen, no hand hand soap in main floor master bathroom, the shampoo bottle was clogged in master shower, the fireplace lighter fluid was completely out of fuel, the ice in freezer completely solidified together and had to be thrown out.
-Lot of spider webs around the walls and lights of the property.

This is one of the better locations in Lake Tahoe if one looking for privacy and serenity. South and north end of the lake tends to get busy crowded with tourists. Emerald Bay, a visual paradise, is just minutes away. My family had a wonderful time at the cabin with excellent floor plan and ample space for everyone to hang out. Kitchen is equipped to entertain with the adjoining dining area large enough to host a soirée. Property manager responds promptly for any additional information during our stay.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this home in Homewood. The checkin and checkout process was super simple and clear. The home itself was very clean and relaxing. Being so close to Homewood, Sunnyside, and Tahoe City was great. Super fun bonus to have access to Chambers Landing, which has an amazing beach and swimming area.

First time in Tahoe and this seemed like a perfect location. Overall the property met our needs. Great location and plenty of seating inside and out. It was nice to sit on the wrap around balcony and feel like you were in a treehouse.The pass for Chambers beach was also a nice plus as well as being walking distance to bike rentals and kayak and jet ski rentals. The kitchen was well equipped and had enough supplies to cook big family meals as well have some coffee in the morning. We ended up having 7 adults instead of 10 which probably was better fit. There were bunkbeds in one room and a trundle in a loft so for my adult nephews each took one of those beds, (it would have been a tight squeeze to get 2 grown men over 6 feet tall in the bunk beds. 😀) But again, overall the house worked well for us. Happy Vacationing!

Had a wonderful stay here in the shoulder season between Summer and Ski season. We really enjoyed the quiet and serenity of the area. The home was very comfortable and well equipped for a great stay from the kitchen to the games/puzzles in the family room. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was in excellent condition, everything worked perfectly and The communication with the owners was clear and concise. I would highly recommend these renters & their beautiful home to anybody who’s looking to enjoy the all the best of the west shore of Lake Tahoe.

Quiet street and a very comfortable family home. Appreciated the fans for each room as it was hot every afternoon. Had a few questions and owners were quick to reply. Outside deck and furniture need a good cleaning. And summer bedding would make sleeping easier in the hotter months. We had a wonderful vacation here.

Quiet street and a very comfortable family home. Appreciated the fans for each room as it was hot every afternoon. Had a few questions and owners were quick to reply. It is a well maintained home in a secluded area. Close to the general store which was nice for needed items. Loved the wrap around deck with the view of the trees. Having a ping pong table was a plus. Owner was very responsive and took care of concerns.

We stayed here with family/kids in the summer and the house was great! In a quite neighborhood walking distance to bike rentals/ kayak rentals! It’s a short drive to several beaches and walking trails. The house is well stocked with plenty of areas to gather!

Although we just went there for a fall getaway this home is nearly ski in/out to Homewood Resort and walking distance to the lake. We would love to return for snow or sun. It was nice to be able to pull our cars into the garage and the kids enjoyed the table tennis. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Although we just went there for a fall getaway this home is nearly ski in/out to Homewood Resort and walking distance to the lake. We would love to return for snow or sun. Wonderful House!
Frederick and Sophie are fantastic hosts of this great home. Sadly, our stay was cut short as we were evacuated due to the fires and smoke but they could not have been nicer to us! We cannot wait to return to this wonderful spot; the house is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Our family loves to cook together and it was great! The location is wonderful and so close to the lake, great restaurants, bike trails, hiking etc. We cannot wait to go back when there are no fires!

Lake Tahoe stay
The location of this property was in a good neighborhood and easy to find. The instruction said the second floor is shoeless, however, carpets and floor dirty and didnt look like you can walk around with bare feet. First floor guess room bed pillows were not clean and had some blood stain on them. First floor second room blankets and bed were not clean. The house has no AC. Door and window screens were broken and we couldn't open windows as well. Patio equipment covers were so dusty and seemed no one used them before. Thus, we didnt use them. Overall, the condition of the house did not match the rental price.

We had a great weekend staying at this cute house for a bachelorette weekend. The location was a quick little drive into Tahoe City where we had some of our meals. The beach access is just a couple minutes down the road. The house had some chairs, umbrellas and towels for us to use which was great since most of us were flying in from various parts of the country and couldn't bring those things with us.
We had 9 people staying at the house and it was the prefect size for us! Plenty of room to spread out or be all together in one room. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the decks and saw a bear one evening.
I greatly appreciated the quick and clear communication from the owners. They sent over clear instructions and tips on things for the house and the area.
I cannot wait to come back to Tahoe and stay again!

We had a great weekend staying at this cute house for a bachelorette weekend. The location was a quick little drive into Tahoe City where we had some of our meals. The beach access is just a couple minutes down the road. The house had some chairs, umbrellas and towels for us to use which was great since most of us were flying in from various parts of the country and couldn't bring those things with us.
We had 9 people staying at the house and it was the prefect size for us! Plenty of room to spread out or be all together in one room. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the decks and saw a bear one evening.
I greatly appreciated the quick and clear communication from the owners. They sent over clear instructions and tips on things for the house and the area.
I cannot wait to come back to Tahoe and stay again!
