The covered boathouse is perfect for keeping your boat dry on wet days/nights and the new upgrades are awesome. New floors, new stairs and a dock that won’t give you splinters! I can't say enough about how nice this property is. It was perfect for our family. We had lots of room, a huge yard, comfy beds and beautiful water. Lisa, the property manager, was extremely attentive, even dropping by to check on us. There was plenty of parking space for our 4 vehicles and a jet ski trailer. We had a wonderful time and made lots of precious memories.

I would highly recommend staying here. We stayed here for Auburn’s Spring graduation weekend. The house was perfect for us and our extended family. The house was well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen. Plenty of room inside for everyone and several seating area outside to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Martin. It was only about a 40 minute drive to Auburn so very easy to go back and forth. Lisa, the property manager, was wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions that we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this home and at Lake Martin.

This house on Lake Martin is a great location for a Family getaway. We had an excellent time and will likely return. Upgrades to dock/decking are taking place and maintenance was reasonable. There was one significant issue that has not been corrected that prevents a 5 star review. The listing for beds is incorrect. There is a double bunk bed in the bonus room NOT a bunk bed and two doubles. This reduced the number of beds from 4 in the room to 2 and caused some inconvenience for our family. We would have planned differently if the listing was accurate. If we return to Lake Martin we will likely go back to this location, but here are a few details that might help others in planning there trip. PROs *Locations is excellent, water depth is adequate for boating and plenty of dock space *Easy access to water via steps/ladder for those with limited mobility *Quite slough that is safe for swimming/time in the water without having to worry about boat traffic *Large yard for family games/volleyball/badminton *Plenty of parking for friends/family and even boat trailers *Convenient location to Union boat ramp, Chuck's Marina, and gas station close by *Plenty of seating for meals for everyone inside and large amounts of deck space *Property manager is responsive and nearby to help CONs *Mattresses are worn out/tired, several have a memory foam topper to try to cover up the issue, but most need to be replaced *Kitchen has lots of items and importantly large bowls/containers, but is disorganized and no labels so hard to put back in the "right" place *Not enough coffee mugs for 12-15 coffee drinkers, bring your own *Multiple levels inside with 2 steps in the middle of the main floor that were challenging for our older family members (this was clear from the pictures, but be aware if you have limited mobility family members) *Cellphone coverage was a single bar for Verizon

Plenty of comfortable space in an absolutely beautiful setting. Stayed with a group for an Auburn football game. The lake & outside area was peaceful, relaxing & expansive. Communication with Betty & Lisa were fantastic. Lisa provided recommendations for local restaurants & areas of interest. We were sorry that we couldn't stay longer. Hoping to have an opportunity to return & stay.

We love the property and the location, however, we do not like the TV is setup with Streaming only. We stayed last year and had regular TV to see. This was a BIG negative for the most of us with handicap and elderly staying.

We had a fantastic vacation! The kitchen was well stocked, loved the yard and dock, appreciated the 2nd fridge in the boat house, and the house was clean, just as advertised. Plenty of space for our families! Thank you for restoring our busy lives with good memories!

First, we have stayed at this property many times. It is always a pleasure to stay here. Lisa King, the property manager, is awesome! She is easy to reach, prompt to reply, friendly and helpful. Secondly, I first rented this lake house when my aunt was coming and had mobility issues. The walk to the dock is a smooth run from the driveway of the house and could be accessed by someone using a walker.. I didn’t measure the width of the dock walkway, but I feel that it could also accommodate a wheelchair. Having said that, keep in mind that there are no side rails so you would need to exercise caution. The house has plenty of room for people to spread out. The upstairs bedroom are away from the noise and great for infants and their parents (or anyone who wants peace and quiet). The bunk room with the added loft room s always a favorite for our younger children who like to have a big slumber party. The main level master suite has its own bathroom and plenty of room to spread out. The outdoor space is phenomal, with a covered gazebo, plus 3 tables that seat 16 people. (The indoor table seating accommodates 17+ with 3 tables, in addition to seating at the second kitchen island. The boathouse!!! It’s filled with life vests of all sizes and t has a 2nd fridge,. The dock!!! It has covered mooring for a pontoon boat and docking for 2 jet skis, plus a covered area with a table and 6 chairs. There are also 2 lounge chairs You won’t regret choosing this lakehouse. P.S. it’s also within 10 minutes of gas and close to marinas. We rent pontoon boats from lakeside marina.

From the tremendous location, to the large dock, covered and uncovered, the pool house with an extra refrigerator, and the open floor plan, and just want to mention the property manager at all or both very attentive… this is definitely our family‘s favorite place to vacation.

We spent 5 days at this wonderful lake house and had a great family vacation. Lots of elbow room and space for everyone to spread out. We would absolutely return to this house and rent again.

The location was perfect! The host was helpful and quick with communicating. The layout of the house was very conducive for family gatherings. The listing was a bit misleading - the downstairs bedroom does not have a bunk bed and 2 full size beds as specified in the main listing, and there are no pictures of the that room or the loft. The downstairs room with the bunk beds has 1 bunk bed with double size mattresses and the loft must be accessed by a ladder through a ceiling hole in that room. The top bunk is warped inward - so much so that we had to remove the mattress and put it on the floor (which took up all of the floor area in that room that is supposed to sleep 5 people between the bunk beds and loft bed). One of the other beds had a footboard that leans pretty bad toward the head of the bed. Overall, the house needs quite a bit of work, as the living room floor is squishy and some of the furniture is propped up because the floor is sinking. None of those things were deal breakers for the vacation, but left us all thinking the nightly rate was a bit over priced based on the repairs needed to the house. And honestly, I think we may have been ok with it if the listing was a little more accurate. House and dock need some TLC but the location and layout of the house make up for a lot of that.

The absolute best stocked VRBO I've ever stayed in with the best communication ever had from a home owner. We will definitely be back to this house on Lake Martin!

Our family cannot say enough good things about this property. We have seven grand children. They and their parents spent a long weekend with us at this house. It was comfortable and generously appointed. The kids liked the lake and the dock best. We found it clean and perfectly suited for the weekend.

Absolutely one of the very best places that we have rented in the Lake Martin area over the last ten years! Plenty of room, fantastic grass area to play with grandkids, host was so nice and easy to work with, and all the accommendations were perfect for our large family group! We look very forward to staying here again next year.
