Absolutely stunning view, green horizon. Great point to see rainforest, however it takes time to get there. Fresh coconut just gathered from the tree. Family opens to share their life with us.

Organizing a trip to Sinharaya. I clearly explained that I want long trip into the forest. We agreed on that, and I was sure we are participating in this kind of trip, and we realized that they took us for another trip, without consulting, just saying that as we arrived late the day before, it will be ;better for us" if we take shorter (again, without consulting this with us) . I was very angry, as probably I will never be back here. For them is simply best to gather a money and deliver minimal service. So instead of taking us deep to the jungle, we basically walk on the border of the park. The longest trail is called SINHAGALA. There is local 'clique" - you probably even do not have chance to book the trip directly with the park. And last but not least - they charged us twice, and "lunch box" turn out to be biscuits and water ;-) Last but not least: guide had very poor English, we did not learn anything about fauna and flora of the park. On top, was abusive towards animals - catching snakes, lizards, allowed dogs to go with us. I am afraid it might be standard of the staff there

We were very happy with everything about the property. The location and the view were so beautiful that we woke up every morning with a smile on our faces. I would like to thank the family who hosted us once again. Our wish is that our path will cross Rainforest Nature Home again at another time. Thank you again for everything. The food we ate was also delicious. They showed us around their garden and helped us with everything. It’s definitely a place where you can stay surrounded by nature without hesitation. We highly recommend it. If you work online, because of the home’s location you can comfortably work using your phone’s mobile internet. I would have liked to upload more photos, but I was so busy enjoying the view that it didn’t even occur to me to take pictures :)

No soap. No tea making facilities. No hot water. No wifi. Only string hoppers for breakfast. No tea. All facilities should be improved and you should know hotel management. We have experienced many hotels in Sri Lanka and this is the hotel with the least facilities. All the best
