Il condominio è a soli 1. 5 isolati dall'atterraggio del traghetto e solo 1/2 isolato dal Lago Superiore che può essere visto dalla grande vetrata nel soggiorno. Essere così vicino all'atterraggio del traghetto significa che non è necessario portare l'auto se non è necessario! Sei circondato da negozi, gallerie e ristoranti che ti permettono di camminare ovunque a tuo piacimento! Il negozio di caffè Mission Hill si trova proprio sotto, quindi puoi passeggiare ogni giorno per ordinare una pasticceria o un panino freschi.
La camera da letto si trova sul retro dell'edificio, dove le delicate brezze attraversano la tranquilla veranda ombreggiata. Ti fa dormire sonni tranquilli dopo il tuo divertimento quotidiano (e notturno).

Overall rating was very good. It fit our needs nicely! Perfect location. Clean, quaint and neat. Bed was comfortable. Living room sofa and futon…not so much. Business entry door below unit was a bit irritating in the early morning squeaking and slamming. Owner responsive and accommodating. Price was very reasonable.

The condo was exceptionally clean with all the amenities that a person would want. If you want to be in the "thick of things" the location is excellent. Even though the condo is downtown, it was nice and quiet.
We arrived on a VERY HOT day and were very pleased that the air conditioner and fans were going upon our arrival.

Shower didn’t work , owner didn’t respond to get repaired! Pretty bad when your on your honeymoon and can’t take a shower!!!

I booked this condo for my parents who are in their 60's. It was their 1st time on the island. They loved the condo, and its location. Its right by everything! It was very clean and they got to hear live music from the deck.

We had a very comfortable stay. Sheila provided all the comforts of home. The kitchen felt like home with everything she provided, dishes, pots and pans, paper towels, dish soap, microwave. The refrigerator was nice and everything was clean. It felt like home.
We felt safe in the unit, we didn’t worry about leaving valuables while we went to the beach. We had our own key code to access the unit. It’s close to the beach in town and all the nice places to eat like grandpa Tony’s and the beach club. We enjoyed walking all over town from our unit. She provided a 32 inch flatscreen TV with a DVR and there are also movies provided to use if used so should wish. There’s satellite TV so we were able to access local channels and weather reports which we found very helpful. We would recommend that she includes room darkening shades, as the room was pretty bright in the morning sun. If you’re an early riser, that shouldn’t bother you. You may want to bring your own extra towels if you have more than two guests staying there, your own bath soap, And a box of tissues. We enjoyed our stay at Sheila‘s and we would definitely consider staying there when we return to Madeline Island.

Everything was lovely .Quiet,great location. There was a white adults clothing ,top and bottom left on the bedroom floor. We put them in the dirty laundry bag with bedding in bedroom closets. They are not ours.

Overall a nice place to stay. Noisy, but to be expected given the location and price. The place was nice and very clean....certainly plenty good for my expectation. My only complaint, other than fairly noisy, is that the bathroom is very cramped and toilet needs an updating as it's so short. I'm 6' 1" and 220# and found it too small. If you're shorter/smaller, you'll probably be ok. Very handy access to ferry! Nice overall, I'd go back again if necessary.

Just right for our extended stay in La Pointe.
Had many other friends and family staying on
the Island that week. From Sheilas Condo we could see the comings and goings of our traveling bunch.
Everything you might need is at the condo.
This was our second year staying there, we will be back again next year.

Perfect for two on an island visit. Very clean and orderly, well appointed. Easy keyed access, parking spot provided. Communication prompt and responsive. Will definitely stay here again on our visits to Madeline Island.

Everything was great. Property was just what we wanted. Only issue was that the bed mattress was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on. I would book at this location again only if I knew they upgraded to a pillow top or memory foam mattress.

Perfect location for food, entertainment, moped/bike rental, late night cocktails, groceries, and beautiful Lake Superior. The apartment is a bit outdated but has all the amenities you'll need. Everything is within walking distance including a coffee shop and the ferry landing.

Our experience in our vrbo was close to being perfect. The town no so much. Restaurants weren’t open almost our whole stay. Not enough activities todo. Need more activities on the island.

Ferry ride over and checkin was a breeze. We loved the easy access to the downtown, bike rentals, maps, restaurants, etc. We brought our own kayaks to explore Big Bay and spent time in the lagoon. We’ll definitely be back!

Sheila's condo was perfect for our weekend stay on the island. It is super conveniently located and kept us cool during the extremely hot days. Was a ton of space for just two people and could easily accommodate more. Would happily stay here again and recommend to others!

We really liked the location and the property was very clean and perfect for what we wanted. The bed was very uncomfortable so we took the mattress off the pull out couch and put it on the bed and that was good. The shops downstairs were a little loud in the mornings but not overly disruptive. Overall, the place was nice- just make sure you get groceries and other things on the mainland. Stuff is expensive on the island!

The location was great! Very easy to get to from the ferry, there is a great little playground next door where the kids played, and the grocery store and restaurants are in walking distance. There was plenty of room for our family of 4.

The only complaint is the futon didn’t fold down, and it was very hard. Maybe time to replace the futon cushion.

Very warm and inviting. Fully stocked kitchen clean appliances, and bathroom had multi soaps shampoos cond. face masks...wonderful! The only thing we found missing was a cribbage board and cards, other than that IT WAS PERFECT! Thank you Sheila your a GREAT Hostess.
