I had never stayed in this area before but after staying here I will make this my go-to place. On top of such a nice Parrish, this home and entire neighbor has so much character. We found ourselves wanting to stay on-premise more even with all the enticements of French Quarter and NOLA. Convenient drive or uber to other areas. But this place is so quiet and we found incredible out of the way restaurants within 2 miles of this area. We will not only come back to Arabi we would not hesitate to rent this. Huge king beds, ample bathrooms and well maintained historic house. Felt like home

We had a great time staying at the house. It was very clean and super spacious! My party of 8 all enjoyed our stay. I loved the high ceiling with the chandeliers and the beds we’re comfortable. I definitely would stay here again. Getting an Uber or Lyft was super easy and didnt have to wait very long.

The spacious ground floor apartment is a comfortable accommodation near enough to the French Quarter to quickly access by car, but far enough away to escape the overenergized bar scenes and throngs of tourists. We highly recommend!

We were in town for a wedding. The house was perfect for multiple people getting ready for an event at the same time - plenty of space and bathrooms. We loved the creole cottage style home. It appears small from the outside - yet its huge inside!
We also rented the back house as well.
Also, good communication from the owner.
Close to several areas, about 20 minutes from the quarter.

this was a wonderful property. A large spacious older home that has been updated beautifully. 4 good size bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, full kitchen. plenty of room for our party of 5. Clean quiet well-kept neighborhood walking distance to some cute yummy local restaurants and grocery stores and only 5 minutes to larger stores if necessary. Really loved the house.

Immaculate home in a quiet neighborhood, with lots of space inside and out. Our host was very accommodating and easy to work with for the entire stay. Couldn't be happier!

House is on main Road, so lots of street noise late at night and very early morning. No amenities, so be sure to pack all toiletries. A place to hang washcloth would be nice. We did not see any directions on how to work TV, finally realized no batteries in the remote. Kitchen minimally equipped. No kitchen knives and picked together glassware. Couches and curtains were dirty as well as corners in bathrooms. Lightbulbs burnt out or missing throughout. We didn’t spend much time in the home so it was okay.

My girlfriends oooohed and aaahhhhed at the beauty, convenience and charm of this house. It was so satisfying to share it with five of my closest friends. Beautiful Spacious Home
This year our friend group (4 couples) decided to do our annual trip without the children and celebrate an early Thanksgiving together. This home is more beautiful than the pictures convey with plenty of room for all 4 couples. Neighborhood is nice with a few places to walk, but only a 15 minute Uber/ Lift to the French Quarter. Larry was very accommodating to our needs around check in and check out.

The property worked very well for our extended family group, which included my ninety year old mother. Beds were comfortable, and the dining room table worked well for our meals and card games. We enjoyed breakfast at Aribi Food Store, recommended by the host, and enjoyed walks in the neighborhood.

Drive to rental a little sketchy but soon arrive in a quaint neighborhood. Walked to dining and local pub. Uber to French Quarter. Relaxing porch and evening after busy days.

Larry did a great job communicating with us when we had problems. Beds are big and comfy and home is clean and spacious. Despite close proximity to French Quarter, I was a bit concerned about the neighborhood safety for a family, but we never went walking out at night.

Great Spot in New Orleans
Though Larry's place isn't in New Orleans proper, it's really better because it has a neighborhood feel and is really close to everything you could want to experience. His place is spacious, cozy, well-furnished and just a splendid place.
