Great location, you can hear live music from the porch from Ramshead. The rooms are huge! The layout is a bit odd and the 3rd room on the first floor is very small, but out 1 year old stayed there So he didn’t care. If you’re a light sleeper, bring a sound machine and ear plugs, you’ll hear the roosters and traffic and revelers all night!

This house is wonderful. Very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Everything you could need including washer and dryer; very little laundry when I arrived home. Great private parking. Perfectly located 1 street from Duval (Where all the action is) and 1 street from Petronia (Goombay Festival). Fort Zackary Taylor Beach and Park is a bit of a hike with all you beach gear so rent a bike. But easy walking to everything. Only one thing I would change is to have a king size bed in the master bedroom and if you have small children there is no bathtub. Also, a small wading pool would have been nice. The porch is wonderful; morning coffee and breakfast (Cuban Coffee Queen will deliver). Relaxing in the evening while having a drink watching all the activity going by before you head out for dinner at one of the many restaurants (Mangia Mangia, best pasta or Alonzo's happy hour on drinks and appetizers). Nice BIG front yard which is not the norm in key west. Brenda the owner was very easy to work with. If you have any questions she will get back with you quickly. I would stay at this location again and would recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Arrival was easy. Property was immaculate and NOT IKEA furnished. We had everything we needed and could walk to all the best restaurants and attractions. Stay here and fall in love with Key West. We will be back.

You know how so many times you see photos online of beautiful homes available for vacation rental and when you arrive you are flooded with disappointment? NOT with "The Little Hemingway" house. This Key West Vacation home was absolutely perfect! The moment my fiancé and I stepped through the door the most memorable holiday vacation began. We left our luggage sitting inside the door as we went from room to beautiful room admiring this tropical 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home that we were blessed enough to be living in for two magical weeks. We stepped out the front door to be once again standing in awe on the high, tiled, pillared, wide stepped front porch that reminded me of a southern plantation. The front yard filled with tall, grand, thick tropical foliage gently swaying in the warm breeze and providing all the privacy you need to sit every morning in your choice of a rocker or glider or around the patio table while sipping on your coffee or mimosa. Roosters proudly walking around in their many grand colors welcoming us with their cock a doodle do. We couldn't wait to get settled and nested to see what was around the corner. We discovered that we were pretty much within walking distance of everything. One block from the notorious Duval Street. Two blocks from Ernest Hemingway house. A short walk to the harbor where we found so many wonderful and delicious seafood restaurants. Before we knew it our two weeks flew by and it was time to get off our magic carpet ride and leave what we considered to be one of the most memorable vacations and this review comes from people who have traveled extensively.
