Questo "High Sierra Hideaway" è una casa ristrutturata Dollar Point, molto vicino alla favolosa ricreazione, shopping e ristoranti a Tahoe City. Questo pet friendly vacanze Tahoe è a pochi passi dalla piscina e campi da tennis.
Il piano terra è perfetto per una vacanza a Lake Tahoe. The property was poorly maintained, the cleaning service was terrible and left limited towels for our family and the washing machine was broken, so we couldn't do laundry to clean the limited towels we had. When we called the property manager (Tahoe Getaways) to address the issues, they told us to use the bath mats (not actual towels) in a black trash bag located in a cubby hole I had to crawl into to retrieve. And they never fixed the washing machine and only offered us $150 back (after we spent over $8k) but we had to sign a waiver of all our rights. On top of it all, there was water running through the walls of the house. We told the property manager to alert the owners ASAP. I highly doubt they did.

Had a great family Christmas experience at this VRBO. Plenty of space for cooking, playing games, and just hanging out during the huge snow storm going on outside! The owners weee kind enough to allow us to stay an extra night due to road closings.

Great location - nice property - plenty of space. Didn't realize no A/C which was our fault and had to have windows closed due to fires so a little uncomfortable. Normal conditions it would not have mattered. Love Dollar Point!

Dirty old sheets, pillows with blood stains, uncomfortable beds, poor linens, cobwebs everywhere! We stayed here from Thursday to Sunday for a long weekend to enjoy a couple days of skiing and take advantage of a cute place with a hot tub! Overall, the place was fine- clean and spacious. The kitchen had all of the cookware you need to make your meals and the fireplace was wonderful! That being said, we were a little disappointed in a few things.
Quiet hours start at 8PM which seemed very early on the weekends. After talking to the property management company, we found out this is because this is dictated by the HOA, so while the county’s guidelines are that quiet hours start at 10, the HOA for this neighborhood has a much earlier time. We understand this can’t be changed but just weren’t expecting to have to be inside that early on the weekends.
The hot tub stopped working for us the first night we got in it. The property management company was great and a really nice woman from the company came over within an hour to look at it and explained that we just needed to reset the breaker. We did that and it worked for a short period of time before shutting down again. After multiple attempts to restart the breaker, we gave up as the temperature was at 86 and not getting warmer. We attempted again the next day but had no luck.
The wifi was very weak which was a struggle for us as there a few of us were trying to work remotely one day and the signal was not strong enough to take any calls from our computers.
The dryer was broken which we didn’t realize until doing one load of laundry that remained wet. And the microwave didn’t work, however we then realized that there was another microwave in the kitchen- just no direction as to which one we should be using or that one was broken.
All in all- we enjoyed staying here and the place was just fine. It just seemed like it could use some fairly simple upgrades to make for a better experience.

Good Location, Nice Yard, Responsive Team
Dollar point is a great location - short walk to the beach and right next to the bike path to bike into Tahoe City. Dollar point has tennis courts and a beach club you can use, though in the height of summer it's $10/person/day to access the private beach club.
The house was nice. Great yard and back deck for grilling and hanging out - also the back yard is fenced in which is great for dogs. Hot tub was nice as well. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom which was great for multiple families. Big two-car garage as well.
Only nitpick would be kitchen could be better outfitted - would be nice to have salt, pepper, and olive oil, for example. But not a huge issue, good choice of pans, huge dishwasher, two microwaves, so solid all-in-all.
Tahoe getaways staff was great. We had a small issue with the hot tub, and they came out right away to fix it, which was awesome.

150 Mammoth
We were fortunate to experience all the seasons in our short LT stay. The house is lovely with living area, bedrooms and bathrooms. The carpet has many stains and the wall corners need paint touch up. The hot air balloon bathroom needs a soap dish. I'm aware rental properties take a lot of abuse. We enjoyed the house and our stay.

My children, grandchildren and I stayed at the High Sierra Hideaway, it was very clean and inviting when we first arrived. The large living and dining area where very accommodating and the rooms were good sizes. What we thought was an extra bonus was being able to enjoy the Homeowner's Association Beach, Pier and Tennis Courts; the staff there was extremely personal and very helpful. Our only complaint was the uncomfortable mattresses in all the bedrooms and the kitchen not being very well supplied; we all love to cook and prepare family meals, so there were a few essential items that were not available. The multiple pluses of the home outweighed the negative. There was always hot water!!!

Nice big family rental with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Well located to a lot of fun stuff to do in Tahoe and it includes its' own private beach! We had a wonderful time in Tahoe and enjoyed our rental home very much.
