Gretsky's Great Escape presso Brighton Ski Resort è una grande cabina di famiglia di 2000 piedi quadrati. Situato alla base del comprensorio sciistico di Brighton e ad appena 1,6 km di up-canyon dalla stazione sciistica di Solitude. Abbiamo facile accesso per tutto l'anno dalla strada principale di Big Cottonwood Canyon. La nostra cabina è situata in alto-canyon dalla strada del Passo della Guardia che fornisce l'accesso diretto sulla cresta del Wasatch al Park City e alla Deer Valley! Great place, clean and roomy, close to the lifts. Really responsive owners; they even left an extra TV and extension cord for us!!! Highly recommend; we plan to stay again next year.

This house was amazing-- extremely clean, organized and uncluttered. More beds than we needed for a family of 5. 2 kitchens available. Hosts were very attentive. House was cozy and even had a Christmas tree. Hot tub was clean and very large. There is a shuttle to the resort but the walk is about 8 min. We found it easier to have one person drop off and pick up everyone and equipment, and then that person could just walk to the car. We stayed across from lift last year, but this house is much nicer and we would return to this one instead in the future.

Very comfortable, pretty location. It was useful having the two kitchens, as we used both ovens and dishwashers to feed a large group. We enjoyed the hot tub and had several moose that slept in the back yard. We hope to stay there again.

Emily & Alex are the most friendly and responsive hosts you could ask for. Their cabin is incredibly well stocked with amenities galore, which made it that much easier for my wife and I to celebrate our marriage with our party members. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place! 10/10 would stay again in a heartbeat!

We greatly enjoyed our stay and our hosts were exceptional throughout the entire stay! Alex even came first thing in the am after a winter storm came through so we could get out and catch our flight on time!

Probably one of the cleanest rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay amazing. Anything you could think of, it’s there! A very Welcoming home with beautiful views of the mountains. Great location for summer hiking, walking distance to many trailheads. Close to a few restaurants too. Loved it!

Spent father's day with family then the next night was our Anniversary
We absolutely loved the cabin, it was completely stocked with everything you could imagine. Very clean and modern, the hot tub was amazing, the beds are comfortable. We would stay here again.

This is in a great spot for some easy hiking during early spring! Everything was perfect.

My daughter had her Western Gymnastics Championship in SLC, so we decided to make an extra 2 days of it. Was an awesome location and great hiking and scenery. Unfortunately all the ski resorts closed as well as restaurants but the Silver Fork Lodge was awesome for breakfast. Hosts were more than accommodating with helpful suggestions and instructions. Using the hot tub was icing on the cake!

Short Getaway
My daughter had her Western Gymnastics Championship in SLC, so we decided to make an extra 2 days of it. Was an awesome location and great hiking and scenery. Unfortunately all the ski resorts closed as well as restaurants but the Silver Fork Lodge was awesome for breakfast. Hosts were more than accommodating with helpful suggestions and instructions. Using the hot tub was icing on the cake!

Fantastic space with plenty of room and nice kitchen amenities including spices and basics like olive oil, condiments. Private hot tub which was nice and easy to use. Plenty of towels and everything obsessively labeled for location of items and instructions on what to do.
Somewhat loud location right on Big C'wood Canyon road and a little precarious getting out onto road cuz of snowbank. 10 minute walk to Brighton base. Used car to get to Solitude and with carpool discount, parking is 5$--more convenient than public trans. Overall would recommend for large group.

Brighton Blast
Property was awesome. Emily and Alex were truly responsive before and during our stay. Cabin is a short walk to Brighton bus which took you right to the base of Brighton . We had a major storm roll in dumping 25" of fresh POW POW. So to say the skiing was spectacular is an understatement. Alex arrived at the cabin that night and cleared out the driveway and back deck of the 25" of snow. He also came inside and reloaded us up on supplies that were included in our stay. Great Cabin, Great location and Great Hosts. When we come back we would definitely stay at the Great Gretsky Escape.

Great location near Brighton. Didn’t need to wait in long car line for Brighton or Solitude on the weekends. Bedrooms are well outfitted for a larger group, and hot tub is fantastic. Kitchen has all you need but is a bit small. Emily and Alex are very responsive and helpful.

The house is across the street from Brighton Ski Resort and a short drive to Solitude. It is clean, well stocked and adorable. When not skiing our family of ten enjoyed the hot tub, foosball and TV. We loved the heated mat walkway to the hot tub. We found the hosts to be very responsive especially since it snowed a ton while we were there and Alex came over to shovel and snow blow several times. We can’t say enough good things about this property, our stay, and Emily and Alex! The lodge was stocked with everything we needed, the location was PERFECT, Emily was very helpful and responsive, and Alex was awesome with his timely snow blowing and clearing off the deck and hot tub! Book this amazing Cabin ASAP!
Don't wait on booking this wonderful cabin in Brighton! It's truly amazing. The Gretzke's have taken such care to make the home comfortable, cozy, efficient and well stocked! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need (and more). The hot tub is wonderful, the beds very comfortable. We had a large snowfall while we were there, and Alex come continuously to make sure the snow was cleared. Emily is completely fantastic at communication. We would rent this home again, without a second thought, when returning to Brighton. Truly charming in all ways.

We had a great time.
We had a great time at the Getsky’s cabin. The cabin is very tidy and homey as it’s equipped with everything you need. We loved the fact that it’s super baby friendly. Has baby gate, pack’n play, and high chair. Emily and Alex are great hosts and were there when you need them. Great location, was very close to the slope. Outdoor hot tub is everything. Love this place. I can definitely recommend it.

This was a wonderful weekend getaway. The cabin was clean, incredibly well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and meals, the hot tub was perfect, super close to a little store and Silver Lake. All in all we loved and appreciated getting to stay there.

It was a perfect time of year to enjoy the trees changing colors. This was our second time staying at this cabin and looking forward to staying again.

Best stay ever
Literally the best VRBO experience ever! The cabin was amazing and the hosts were awesome. We even got greeted by a moose as we checked in! Can’t wait to come back, thank you to The Gretzky’s for a wonderful experience!

Perfect Girls Getaway
The Gretsky's Great Escape cabin was absolutely perfect in every way! We could not have asked for a more perfect cabin or experience. This was a long overdue girl's trip and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The cabin was very well stocked and very clean! The beds were incredibly comfy (super important to us) and the hot tub was fantastic. There was a welcome binder with plenty of suggestions on dining and things to do. The cabin is steps away from hiking trails (which we enjoyed both days) and we loved sitting and chatting on the secluded back patio while we watched the hummingbirds and squirrels. The highlight was seeing the resident moose, Margot, and her baby across the street in the field! Truly, an unforgettable time. Don't hesitate on booking this wonderful cabin. The owner's are fantastic and we hope to stay again! Thank you for sharing this treasure with us!

This cabin was very clean and family friendly. We had a fabulous time hiking through the mountains, then coming home to a relaxing cabin each night.

My only complaint would be in the booking process. There were A LOT of fees! I would have liked some of those fees to just be included in the per-night cost so I would have had a better idea of the true cost of the cabin up front.
