A little pricey for what you get. AC in the unit did not cool well - never got below 75 in 2 days. We contacted rental company and a maintenance person was sent only to tell us it was working fine. Again never cooled to the temp we had it set at which was a reasonable 70. One pan for cooking and no dish dishwasher detergent on site but we were expected to run the dishwasher before we left!! Fortunately, I had some packed so we were covered there. Considered a late check out but at $50 an hour decided against it. Returned keys and voiced the concerns with the AC, received a shoulder shrug and an “OK” the employee seemed extremely unconcerned with the complaint. Great pool areas and decent spot to grill!!

The entire condo smelled like insence.

Fan blades, above shelves, behind TV, had 1in pile of dust, shower had dust in it.

There were other people's items left behind the bed and couch.
After we asked maintenance to come by to figure out where the smell was coming from, they said they have 300 rentals and they cannot monitor them all, and dropped off a can of OZIUM which you cannot spray around people.

Reviewer Comments: Our family stayed here last year and were very satisfied with our visit. This year I was disappointed. We found several small roaches in the kitchen on the counters and in the shower. There were no cookie sheets or pans to go in the oven. No dishwasher soap provided(it was provided the previous year). Very flimsy silverware and utensils. The only plus to these condos was the lagoon pool. We will not be booking here again.

Pirates Bay was a great family destination. The pools were fun and the rental was nice as a whole but had several flaws. There is only one playground versus the two that were showed in the pictures. There was no hot water in the master bathroom shower nor was the toilet properly secured to the floor. The patio door to parking lot did not stay closed, so watch out if you have kids or pets running around. The shower curtain in the guest bathroom was not properly secured to the wall and fell on me when I took a shower. There were water stains on the indoor furniture, nails sticking out of the wall, rusty patio furniture and there was some trash left behind on the patio from previous occupants. Also, I left a $100 baby monitor camera behind and spoke to someone on the phone the same day we checked out mentioning exactly where we had left it in the bedroom and to please help recover it for us. They said they would get back to me the next day and proceeded to avoid my follow up calls and emails on several occasions after that. Two weeks and 5 guests later I got a hold of someone and was told they knew nothing about it and did not have it, with little explanation or effort to make things right. I understand if they couldn't recover the monitor, but the lack of effort and communication coupled with the overall condition of the rental will make me second guess another stay at this property.

We had a perfect time in Port A. The place was perfect. We liked the split bedrooms for added privacy. We had the precious pool to ourselves. Nothing but good things to say!

Super clean and presents exactly like the photos. Pet friendly with concrete floors. Plenty of bedding with extra blankets and towels. Washer and dryer were a definite plus. We were able to enjoy the pool while there. Nice location, parking, and very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay in 121. We had 3 dogs so the concrete floors were perfect and easy to clean and sweep. We REALLY liked the blocked off entry ways. This allowed us to let our dogs out without have to get harnesses and leashes out. No worries about them getting out into the parking lot either. We didn’t use the pool but did tour it. It was clean and looked inviting. Overall good experience and we will stay again.

It was loaded with plenty of supplies and extra linens. While the pool area was nice, the pool itself was extremely warm and did not feel refreshing after a hot day at the beach.

This property is perfect for up to 6 people and a pet. It is more open inside than you can tell from the pictures. The floors are concrete, so you don’t have to worry about you pet damaging them. Also, the outdoor area is private which you can’t tell from pictures. We would definitely recommend and would rent again.

We could have used a couple more kitchen hand towels. The cooking pans were of poor quality. No baking dishes or pans for a casserole or cake.

Overall, the condo is beautiful, and we had a great time! The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed (not queen as advertised), so that was disappointing. Minor maintenance issues were addressed at check-out. Would stay again 😊

Nice rental. Very clean and comfortable. Close to pool. Only downside was our fault about renting on other side of beach and couldn’t use golf cart. Other than that nice stay

Heads up, if you stay at pirates bay, no one will rent you a golf cart because you can't cross the highway in a golf cart. Also, the condo was very clean, well stocked with bathroom amenities, and kitchen equipment (we didn't use). I would suggest updating the rooms with bigger TV's. Sounds snobby, but after a long day at the beach, a TV and a couch to cuddle up on is nice. The TV in the living room is oddly placed and the volume is terrible. The TV's in the bedrooms are super small! The condo cooled down quickly and stayed cool. The closed patio is nice to store beach stuff on and not worry about it getting stolen. We would stay at pirates bay again! It was great for our family of 4.

There is no legal place to cross over 361, so that was disapointing but not a deal breaker. The place was clean, they alow pets. My girls,(lab and golden doodle) had a great time.
