Yes, only the downstairs toilet had trouble flushing for the second year in a row (nothing improper was put in it; I had to buy a plunger to get it to drain).

We had a wonderful stay! Lots of bedrooms and beds, a Great a family room with wood burning fireplace, a great TV nook to watch football and a large screened in porch! The photo's do not do it justice. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of open storage space for our stuff... The best part for me was the lower level king suite... I knew I was taking the king bed - but I didn't know there would be an attached full bath and another family room with another wood burning fireplace, couches, card table, etc... We loved it.

We, 14 family members, had a great time at the Big House. The view from the screened porch, where we sat and had our coffee each moring, was beautiful. We paddled, hiked and had a fire every night.I got to visit some of the state parks I grew up camping at.

Process of renting was easy specially we decided to travel 3 weeks before traveling. The out doors is lovely with kayaks and row boat, canoe, paddle boat . The setting is great but the cabin needs a lot of updates All the screens are broken We had mice and mice droppings every where and occasionally we had chipmunk in the house We spent a full morning vacuuming the enclosed porch using a very heavy ancient vacuum cleaner that spewed out the mouse droppings. Kitchen had two coffee machines But no tea kettle Kitchen sink drainage was broken the first day and we spent time to fix it If the renovation of the cabin is done the place will be great .
