Clean house. Everything worked. Great view to sit on deck and relax. Great host with lots of info about the area.

Cabin was clean. We enjoyed our stay!

This location is a great since you have easy access to downtown and Ober Gatlinburg. We also spotted few bears. Pigeon forge is also quite nearby. The house is little old but host is great and he will call and make sure everything is fine while staying.

We loved watching the bears and views. Close to downtown Gatlinburg.

We had a great time on our family vacation. The house was very clean and as described. The view was amazing! We saw bears on 2 different days. The owner Jim was very helpful and responsive to all of our needs. We will definitley be staying here again.

First day overall was fantastic. Having access to the pool that was close by was really nice and free. Bears are seen daily, I would definitely recommend keeping your car doors locked. The view is breathtaking and in a perfect setting/location very quiet and private everyone was friendly. There are a few things that could be updated with the property and needed fixing but the property manager was very receptive to the feedback. Highly recommend staying here and working with Jim, he was accommodating and pleasant to work with.

Perfect location, extremely clean, owner communication exceptional. Perfect for our family gathering. The view from the porch is breathtaking! Bear watching is so much fun!

The house has great views of the Smoky Mountains. It was a great place to stay and was close to downtown Gatlinburg.

The cabin is exactly as pictured with the wonderful views and amenities. It was well stocked with everything we needed (especially appreciated the programmable coffee maker!) and it was very comfortable including the beds. We enjoyed the hot tub very much especially after several days long walks and hikes! We were visited 4 of the 5 days by bears including a mamma with two tiny cubs which was the highlight of our stay (as we took pics and video from INSIDE the locked cabin - lol!). We heeded advice to keep car and cabin doors locked at all times and not leave food out or in our car and immediately put trash inside the locking trash cages in the driveway - very important as we saw firsthand when a big bear stole a trash bag off the neighbor's front porch in a flash when it was just out a minute. Communication with the owner was great - he sent us a lot of emails beforehand with tons of info and has a 3 ring binder in the cabin with even more info. Couldn't ask for a better experience! Thank you!

Incredible view! Beautiful cabin. Very clean and spacious. Had all the amenities. Even the bears like it! By the way… the owner is so nice and such a gentleman. Definitely a do-again!!!

This cabin is absolutely amazing and Jim is wonderful. To have such an awesome view without having to be at the top of the mountain is fantastic. It’s a quick seven minute trip to downtown and it’s literally three turns. You have normal size roads the whole time which makes driving a breeze. This will be our cabin of choice from now on due to how great the host is and the incredible view.

Truly the most beautiful view in all of Gatlinburg. We found the view from the back deck more beautiful than our hiking view!! Jim was an excellent communicator as well. My son loved the home so much and is already hoping to stay next year. I think we found our home away from home in Gatlinburg!

Vacation, wanted to get away and see the Smokie Mountains as well as local attractions. Spacious, extremely clean, all amenities you'll need, awesome view!!!! Loved our stay. Possibly the best view in the area!! Owner was great and easy to get ahold of.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It has the best views of the mountain and you can see the city lights at night, yet still somewhat secluded. The house has an older touch, reminded me of going to my grandmas with the green tub and all the owls. We will be back!

We truly enjoyed James' chalet. The view was INCREDIBLE!!! The kitchen had just about everything you'd need to cook a full meal (do recommend brining your own pot holders and cutting board though). James' communication was very clear and he made himself accessible throughout the stay. Will absolutely be back

Cabin was very clean. Road to cabin is very steep. A few updates are needed but I would definitely stay again. Owner is very nice and keeps you up to date on everything.

We stayed at Owl Pine Chalet for 9 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean, and had plenty of dishes to meet our needs. The only things we needed that were missing were a dish drainer and pot holders. We enjoyed the pool table and games, but most of all, the view from the deck was amazing. We saw a large bear a couple of times. It didn't bother us, but it did get into a car down the street. The mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, but we have a very soft bed at home, so that is the case for pretty much everywhere we stay when traveling. Nothing wrong with the beds, just not our preference for softness. The cabin is far enough away from the craziness of downtown that it is very peaceful, but close enough that it only takes a few minutes to get to town when you want to. Jim is a great host, and was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat/things to do. The internet service at the cabin is good too. Much better than most other places we've stayed in the mountains.

When I booked this cabin, I was pretty sure it had good views from looking at the pictures. However, when I arrived in person, it exceeded all of my expectations. I was absolutely blown away. The view of Mt. Leconte and Great Smoky Mountains National Park from the front porch of that cabin is exactly what it says in the description: a million-dollar view. It's a view you could literally look at for hours (and I did). Mt. Leconte is so close it looks like you could reach out and touch it. You won't even find a view this good from the scenic overlooks in the national park. Lots of other views in the area are obscured by trees, but this one isn't. And once you finally pull yourself away from the view, there's an amazing cabin to be experienced, too. The place has everything you need and more, including the bonus of a hot tub and a pool table (which my kids loved). The rooms are quite spacious, as are the king beds, and the living room and dining room are both open, lending itself to a huge open living space. The kitchen is also a good size. If you have any questions, Jim, the host, is readily available and easy to talk to. Our only problem is that we didn't book enough nights. This is a place you will never want to leave. Book this cabin and you definitely won't be disappointed.

This was our second stay here. The views are fabulous, the house is stunning. We will be back for sure!
