I loved this studio. It was clean, warm, comfortable, inviting and tastefully designed. I will stay here again for sure the next time I'm in Lake Placid!

This property was exceptional in every way. The layout was well organized (and, pleasantly, a bit larger than we expected based upon the photos) and efficient. The furnishings and bed were comfortable. It was also completely spotless. Located in a quiet wooded location, it was easy to find and just a short (20ish minute) walk to downtown Lake Placid. Communication with the owner was just right and instructions, both beforehand as well as those in the unit itself, were clear and concise. Couldn't have been a better place to stay - enthusiastically recommended.

We chose this rental with the two of us in mind. It more than met our expectations. The location was good. It met all our needs and was very comfortable. We loved the view of the stream out back. When asked, Kathy kindly lent us a big pot to make pasta. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to someone else and hope to come back someday.

Stayed in this wonderful studio with my husband and golden retriever Frankie! 4 min ride to Main Street lake placid location was great! Very well appointed studio! Very clean and comfortable will definitely stay again!

The studio was perfect for us! Very close to lake placid village, exceptionally clean, and the owners provided all the little things you need such as hand towels, dishwashing soap, paper towels, iron, etc.
Although we were out exploring daily, we enjoyed our stay there. it was quiet, had a nice size flat screen tv, and even had an outdoor sitting area for coffee in the morning. Would definitely come back!

My 15 yo daughter and I spent 5 days/4 nights hiking and exploring the Lake Placid area. The apt was very clean, close to town that you could drive or even walk (longer) to. Mirror lake was wonderful and they have live music in the evenings. I would definitely stay again!

I randomly stumbled on this great find when searching for a simple place to stay while planning a weekend getaway with my boyfriend and dog and I’m so glad I found it! We didn’t need anything fancy nor did we want to pay for all the extras at other places in town. Plus I could bring my dog along!!! No AC but the studio never felt really hot and they provided a fan if you need it. Far enough from downtown for some quietness but close enough that it’s almost right down the street. Kathy was great about communicating and everything was as expected. We would love to come back another time!

This property was perfect for two and our pets. Everything was super clean and the host were super quick to respond to any questions. The location was perfect for a walk to the center of Lake Placid. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely like to return in the future.

The VRBO rental was clean, well designed, and very affordable. Furthermore, the owners were responsive and seemed to really care about the property and their guests. Plus it is dog friendly which is great for people that love to travel with their four legged friend.

The place was so close to downtown Lake Placid. It worked out perfect! The host was also super great at communicating and helped facilitate when we wanted to extend our stay. The little apartment was better than expected with wonderful features. My only tiny note is that the heating/ac was not very responsive to adjustments, but we just opened the sliding door if it was too hot for us. Would definitely stay again!

The pictures don't do it justice. This is a neat place, very clean, with all kinds of little amenities thoughtfully arranged. The owners were friendly and easy to deal with. I would not hesitate coming back.

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay while attending ski races this past weekend. This is a cute, well-equipped studio within walking distance to town while off-the beaten path. Appreciated the cleanliness, comfort, and value of this great acommodation! All you need for a weekend away in Lake Placid!

Despite the frigid temperature of -27F (new record!) we enjoyed our stay. We loved the HEATED floors. I recommend this rental as being a 5 in every category and would return (during another season). LOL

I stayed here while volunteering at the World University Games, mostly at Mt Van Hoevenberg, which is an easy 15 min drive away. Walking into downtown Lake Placid for other events was super convenient too! The studio is cozy, well-insulated, and had everything I needed. The host was very responsive and helpful - I’d happily stay again!

This is a perfect place for a couple. Nice hot shower. The rental was very clean. The mattress was to hard for us. We reached out to Kathy and she was very fast to answer and had a topper an hour later. We would stay again.

Private, very clean ground-floor studio (upper unit appeared occupied) exactly as the listing states. Generous parking/no stairs made arrival/departure easy. Plenty of comfortable seating, storage, and very dog-friendly with nearby sidewalks and small parks. Sliders open to a sitting area by a stream, with a swing! Highly recommend!

The studio was perfect! It is exactly as described. It is comfortable and tastefully decorated. Kathy considered every detail…Anything needed is there….lots of extra towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc. The studio is sparkling clean!!!
The location is quiet and peaceful, a retreat for sure! Kathy is super responsive, answering inquiries within minutes. Lake Placid is of course beautiful, always! Thank you Kathy!
