The poperty was excatly as described. The owners had everything there for you which is so convenient. Loved how close the beach is ..literally a house away. Perfect for families and even for dogs ! Loved it and cant wait to come back again!

This house was PERFECT for our family getaway. It’s a cozy little beach house steps off the beach. Beach access was super easy not treacherous at all. We watched the sunrise at the beach and the sunset every night from their roof top deck. Walking distance to some yummy restaurants. House/ furniture is older for sure but place was clean/upkept well so we didn’t mind. Our only note is the carpets in the bedrooms should definitely be ripped up because they have large noticeable stains. Rest of the house is tile. Already looking at dates to come back later this year!

I was pleased with our stay. Overall it was excellent. The only issue with me is, it needs updated cookware and utensils. Only a few steps away from the beach!👍

This was our first time vacationing in St. Augustine. We have two kids, boys. Location was excellent! You can walk to great family friendly restaurants. Late night walk to different ice cream shops. There’s lots of activities in the area we would do during the day then quickly head to the beach that afternoon. There’s a hill then steps to the beach so there’s no point in bringing a beach cart (if you need the car space). Beach is close and only one house away. The hose and outdoor shower were very convenient as well as the outdoor laundry. This helped us keep the sand outside of the house. The home met our families needs. My husband suggested curtains for the beachside bedroom and said the bright moonlight would wake him up at night (I had no issue). Also, there’s no dishwasher so be aware as we had to buy our own sponge. Thank you!

Property was well maintained and had everything needed in the kitchen. A grill would have been nice , however I purchased one and left it for the next renter. Just trying to make things a little bit better then we found it. Enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning next year..

The proximity to the beach was great. The beach access was a little treacherous, but I think this is the result of the fall hurricanes, so out of the control of the property owners. The house is older, and this was obvious based on the pictures online. The real downfall was the level of cleanliness. The back bedrooms have carpet. The stench from the carpet was almost unbearable. It appears as though the house had water damage from the recent hurricanes. Why this carpet wasn’t ripped up is beyond me. There were air fresheners everywhere trying to minimize the smell, but I think the only thing that would do this would be to take out the carpet. The carpet also had a urine smell to it. The outside washer smelled like it had been marked by a male cat. We even went to the store to buy cleaner, since there was nothing other than windex below the sink, but nothing would remove the stench. It was hard to wash clothes in this washer and dryer knowing that that odor was all around the washer. It’s as if an intact male tomcat urinated inside the washer. Also, the leaving instructions mention several times to start the dishwasher. There is NO dishwasher. Overall, the location of this house is lovely, and with a little maintenance and TLC, it could make a great vacation rental.

You might want to advertise with an updated picture which includes the now extremely pink A frame house between the property and the ocean. =]

We enjoyed our stay. Regretfully the beach path was closed . To get to the beach we had to walk 3 blocks up A1A street to 16th street. Hope this was disappointing it was an easy walk. The actual phone was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was the lowest pressure we’ve ever experienced. That said our overall we are very pleased with our experience.

Great location to shops restaurants and commute to old town St.Augustine. Tiki is steps from the beach but the hurricane pushed the dunes so far back that there is about a 15 foot drop to the beach as it destroyed the walkways over the dunes. We walked to the 10th street walk. We enjoyed watching fireworks from the upper deck on NY eve . You can hear the ocean from inside this wonderful place very cozy would stay again.

The reviews were very accurate. There is no water pressure in the shower. The beach access was damaged during a storm so you can’t get to the beach as easily as described. Which would have been nice to be made aware of. The picture of the patio that looks like chairs around a fire pit is very misleading because there’s a tree growing in it.

Clean and comfy, we loved the rooftop deck. The backyard was spacious and fenced in, and would be great for a dog. The listing pictures showed a firepit, but we discovered it had been turned into a planter, so that was disappointing. Unfortunately the beach access was damaged due to the recent hurricane. Overall, we would recommend this home.

This was the perfect location for our week on St. Augustine beach! We loved the house! It was close to restaurants and lots of activities. 2 notes- 1. If you are traveling with a dog, the backyard is fenced, but it is all paved— no grass for bathroom breaks. 2. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low.

This property is in a great location. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. slightly dated, but clean and comfortable. Our only complaint is the water pressure. It's horrible! You can hardly rinse the soap off your body, much less out of your hair. The outdoor shower has great pressure but is not enclosed so no privacy. The water pressure to the indoor shower needs addressing.

Only down side is no water pressure in shower and I have long hair so it was hard to rinse out.

This review is long over due. This place was awesome to use as a vacation rental. The listing is accurate, the home was clean and the location was perfect (right on the beach) and walking distance to restaurants, stores, coffee shops etc.. I would highly recommend renting from Marty. A very pleasant surprise when you actually get exactly what your paid for!

Tiki Hut was the perfect little beach house! Close to the beach, plenty of space. Beds were comfortable. Beach was awesome! Quiet street. Plenty of towels although water pressure In the shower was not great. Outside shower was great for a rinse off after the beach. Pressure was actually better out there. If area was enclosed would have used that for a shower. We will definitely be back. We had a great time. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This property is in the perfect location for our family. Beach and restaurants all within walking distance. Once you arrive you rarely use your vehicle during your stay.

Great location. Very Clean inside the house. Wish the yard was maintained better. Dogs had issues with cockleburs getting in their feet. Patio had weeds growing up through the fence and dead palm leaves every where. Basic Cable TV did not include ESPN, etc.

House was overall great - spacious rooms, comfortable living space with all amenities also a fenced in private yard and a great location convenient to many places for eating and vacation activities , 2 houses from beach. Had one minor issue with slow draining shower. Owner was immediately responsive in resolving. We were very satisfied and will stay here again in future.
