5 Terre Backpackers City

I absolutely loved my stay at 5 terre backpackers in La Spezia. Francisco was an absolute gem and you can tell he loves what he does. The location is so close to the main train station and I actually got to take advantage of the breakfast provided which was perfect. I'm glad I chose to stay in La Spezia over any of the villages in Cinque Terre due to the convenience and saved me the hassle of bringing my luggage up all the crazy stairs in the villages. Would totally stay here again and would recommend to others.

The bed was spacious, the cleanliness is fair, not too crowded and the owner is really hands on with his guests and considerable.

This hostel is a great location for visiting Cinque Terre. Francesco is very helpful and always happy to give recommendations. The room, common area and bathroom were all very nice and were cleaned daily. It was very hot during my stay, and the room's AC was a huge plus! Breakfast was in a cafe next door and exceeded my expectations, and the train station which takes you to the villages of Cinque Terre is a 3 minute walk away. This was my first stay in a hostel travelling solo, and it was a great experience.
