Questa struttura è stata la nostra prima casa per 17 anni. Oggi viviamo in una casa su una proprietà adiacente, quindi siamo vicini. La proprietà si trova alla fine di un viale privato che è ben mantenuto ed è molto isolata, ma si trova direttamente sul lago. Al momento abbiamo due camere da letto pronti a noleggiare con un soppalco sopra il soggiorno. Può ospitare 6 persone. Ci sono tre camere bagno completo e un bagno di 1/2 nella lavanderia.
La cucina è ben attrezzata per cucinare e non vi è una griglia esterna per Cook-out. Il soggiorno sala da pranzo e la cucina sono un open space con soppalco al piano di sopra. Tutti gli spazi di vita hanno una splendida vista del lago. C'è un involucro intorno al portico che si affaccia sul lago, unità, e il bosco intorno alla casa. C'è anche un gazebo con uno swing. La parte superiore della casa barca e il bacino galleggiante vengono con il noleggio. C'è un disco di cemento con un backstop basket e un pozzo a ferro di cavallo.
Una mano uno di una scala a chiocciola genere conduce ad un soppalco, che ha un futon full size e bagno completo. Vi è una full size divano-letto nel soggiorno al piano di sotto. Ogni camera ha un letto matrimoniale con bagno privato. C'è anche un box per la vostra convenienza.

The trees were changing wished could stay longer.
Next time come when can take advantage of the lake in the summer and boat around the lake.

Nice, quiet house on a cove just off the main lake with a fantastic view from the deck and living room. Wonderful dark skies at night for stargazing and photography. Wildlife (deer, lizards, migratory geese) was easy to find as well. Easy kayak rentals that deliver to, and pick up from, the dock. Steve and Laurie were easy to deal with and are right up the road for any questions. About 45 minutes to Va. Tech and to Floyd (little town with local artists’ galleries and great local food).

Our Family had an awesome time at this Lake house. The property was just as described and portrayed in the pictures. Steve the host lives nearby and was friendly, helpful and easy to work with. The House is homey with a very cool lodge feel and was just the perfect size for our group of 5. The property is on a quite cove with amazing lake views, a very nice dock with a boat lift and easy access to the water for swimming and fishing! Everything worked just as described and we had no problems what so all. We will be back!

This was our second stay and we really can’t say enough about this property and the hosts. Steve is incredibly accommodating as is the house. Our first visit we were pregnant with our daughter who is a year and half. The house is loaded with supplies for little ones and the deck can be closed off to provide a great place for them to play.
Our crew enjoyed jumping off the dock, we brought our boat and the lift was awesome for keeping it safe. It’s a really great location on the lake in a quiet cove. (We launched our boat at the Claytor Lake state park).
The house has such great amenities. The pots and pans, dishes, and knife block are all fantastic if you like to cook. Gas range. Oversized washer and dryer. We grilled outside. Lots of place to spread out.
We will definitely be back. Feels like home.

Very nice place. We fished off the dock the first day fairly successfully. Heavy rains were forecast and lake authorities drew the lake down about 3 feet the first night we were there. That put a damper on fishing, but we still got some kayaking in between rain showers. Provided us what we wanted most, quiet relaxation.

This VRBO property is exactly what you see in the pictures. Walking into the house is just like visiting grandma's house in the seventies. From the wood paneling, plush toilet covers, linoleum floors, personal family portraits, to the dusty tchotchkes sitting everywhere you'll think you've entered the cool time tunnel to 1972. Great location on Claytor Lake and for meeting our friends half way between our homes.

This was a lovely property for spending time with family. A beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake was perfect for a cup of coffee and a relaxing morning. The lakefront dock was nice for enjoying the water, and the spa was warm and ready for us when we arrived. We loved it in the fall, and it would be a great family get away in the summer when the lake water is warmer.

Steven and Laurie are wonderful hosts and their house is amazing. It is homey and comfortable and the location is absolute perfection. The entire living area looks out over the lake and the lake itself is SPLENDID. The house is in a quiet cove… perfect for swimming and jumping off the 2 story dock. Perfect for fishing. Perfect launching point for SUPS (which Mountain2Island will deliver). We had some great family time in this house playing in the lake and playing games at night. The internet connection is not the best but we really loved that part since our kids were forced to talk to us for 3 entire days. Steven lives nearby and when light tripped the breaker and the AC went out came right away to diagnose the problem. It was a big strike! We actually would have been fine with no AC because the nights were cool even in mid August, but we appreciated his response!! He and Laurie even brought down a delicious cheesecake. Not sure it gets any better than this place.

This property continues to amaze. Second stay. This is great location for a weekend with friends. Access to lake is great for swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, etc. House easily accommodates 3 couples.

Quiet spot on the end of Peak Creek. Lovely views in the morning. Beautiful staircase inside. Plenty of room to hang out. We had some trouble with the gas oven, which the owner responded to quickly, but that was our only issue.
