I rented this house for the Air Force Academy graduation. We had anywhere from 6 to 8 people each night. The home was beautiful and exactly as described/pictured. Deer in the backyard, gorgeous view of the lake, even views of Pike Peak!! Excellent location as it was north of the Academy and easy to access. Great restaurants right there in Monument. The house was large with plenty of entertainment areas. Excellent communication with the homeowner. I’ve heard horror stories of people having their rentals canceled at last minute, only to see them re-rented for a higher price. This happened to my daughter’s friends family just three days before graduation. I mentioned this fear when I rented this house about 15 months before graduation. The homeowner put my mind at ease, and I knew I was in good hands. This was a beautiful, excellent property to stay in. I recommend it highly. But as I always say with any online rental property, please treat it with respect. Thank you to the owners of this home for helping to make our graduation experience so special!!

We’ve stayed in many rentals in the Springs area and this home is BY FAR the most incredible home we have ever rented! Our hostess, Jennifer, was so accommodating and asked what we needed to start our stay off with minimal stress and maximized comfort. From freshly ground coffee to homemade breakfast breads, we were pampered and well cared for in this home. Necessities were provided, which made cooking & BBQing family meals east and enjoyable!
Convenient to the highway and 10 minutes to USAFA- this home checked every box for us and then some!

Summer Wedding Bliss
My wife and I traveled to Monument, CO for a wedding. After some fairly in-depth research into various properties we settled on Jennifer & Bob’s Woodmoor property, and it was an excellent choice. The home is exactly as advertised. Actually, it is better than advertised. Because of wedding activities scheduled throughout our stay we decided that we would stay at Woodmoor for all of our meals. The kitchen was well outfitted and exceeded our every need. We spent most of our time on the lovely deck sipping coffee in the mornings and champagne in the evenings. The deck overlooks a well designed and maintained yard and we were even blessed with several wildlife sightings. The home was very, very clean and well organized. My wife and I have stayed at the very nicest resorts in the world over the past 20 years and Woodmoor exceeded our expectations.
As nice as the home is, the best part is organization and grace of the hosts. Jennifer was so helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay. Jennifer even completed an errand for us prior to our arrival that left my wife and I incredulous of her effort. They are the very nicest of people.
I can’t recommend Bob & Jennifer’s Woodmoor enough if you find yourself traveling to the Colorado Springs area.
One tip for you should you stay in the area; My wife and I love outdoor activities. If you like hiking, the Palmer Lake hike trailhead is a very short drive from the home. Download a hiking app for the trail map and complete the 5.2 mile hike counterclockwise. Simply beautiful views and a nice workout. We thoroughly enjoyed the hike. Maybe our favorite hike of all time.

Wonderful house!
The hosts were outstanding and helped us in anyway they could. The house is exceptional and had everything one might want in a vacation property – house was very clean and spacious; kitchen was well equipped; beds were comfortable; pool table and games galore. House is convenient to I-25 and all the main attractions in the area. Would stay again without any hesitation!

Perfect property!
Jennifer and Bob have the gift of hospitality!! Literally everything we needed for a great family Thanksgiving vacation was there on property. Location was perfect for us near kids in CoSprings, Garden of the Gods and Incline, etc. Felt like a home away from home for us and the game room was a big hit! Outdoor fire-pit was cozy, fireplaces even cozier, and carpets kept our feet warm on cold, snowy days. Bug buck and does slept on the grass behind the house and views were excellent from the porch. Would stay at this top notch property again in a heartbeat!

Friends Annual Reunion

The Peters were wonderful hosts and they simply have a beautiful home that fit our needs perfectly. The eight of us have traveled many times over the past 15 years and this house was at the top of the list. We always start each day drinking coffee on the balcony and this home was no different. We enjoyed the wonderful view of the mountains and lake below each day. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck below the balcony while watching deer quietly stroll through the yard. Inside the home, the house was spotless. The open floor plan was perfect as we could cook in the kitchen while others in group sat in the immediately adjacent and large living room. All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and were very comfortable. The bottom line is that we highly recommend this home as we made great memories here and we look forward to making many more!

Fun Bunch in Colorado
It’s going to be hard to summarize our stay at Woodmoor! Jennifer and Bob most accommodating even after multiple communication on my part for not paying attention! The house is beautiful, the grounds are peaceful and the property is well situated to all the areas has to offer! The Fun Bunch all most definitely loved our stay! It was marvelous!

USAFA Graduation 2021
We rented this house for USAFA Graduation 2021 and would definitely rate it as top-notch, 5 stars.
Our pleasant experience began when we requested to book and received a personal phone call from the homeowner, Jennifer. She was very attentive, answered our questions and listened to what we were looking for in a rental to make sure her home was a good fit. We were very impressed that she took the time for a personal call.
The house is located on a private drive tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a picturesque lake and Mountain View. For USAFA families, the home is in Monument about 10 minutes north of the North gate and close to shops, restaurants and a grocery store.
The property is exceptional and impeccably clean. The decor is beautiful and the house has everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The layout of the house is open concept, spacious and the two outdoor areas are perfect for reading, relaxing or drinks in the evening or coffee in the morning. The outdoor fountain on the upstairs deck elevates the peaceful experience. The beds are super comfortable and the special touches throughout the home (like layered bedding, extra blankets, shampoo & conditioner in the showers) give the home a very comfortable and welcoming feel.
Check in/ out was easy and nothing out of the norm. There was also a binder available with helpful information about how to work the appliances, doors, outdoor fountain etc... as well as tips/ suggestions on places to eat, visit and see while in Colorado.
Jennifer, the owner, is one of the best VRBO homeowners we’ve ever worked with. She was very personable, quick to respond to any questions, incredibly helpful and an overall pleasure to work with.

Beautiful Spring Break Getaway
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful home. Arriving for Spring Break the owners shoveled the drive for us and were so thoughtful and helpful with any and all questions I had. This amazing home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and set up perfectly for our family of 5. The lower floor was great for playing pool and watching movies with an entertainment center and big screen tv with comfortable chairs and couches. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and plenty of dishware/cookware and utensils.
My favorite part of our stay was that it is in the perfect location to “get away” without being too far from nearby grocery stores, restaurants and we were able to hop onto the interstate and get to Colorado City in just a few minutes. This home is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood with views of the nearby lake and mountains. Waking up to the beautiful view was wonderful! I highly recommend this property. The owners are awesome and will be sure that you enjoy every aspect of your stay. We will be back for sure!

Perfect Get Away
We were a family looking for some downtime. The home was so lovely and very comfortable...filled with many amenities. We spent many a morning with coffee and an evening on the deck enjoying the mountain and lake view. Would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to Colorado Springs.

Vacation
We were looking for a quiet getaway and this VBRO was exactly what we needed. We were welcomed with a goody bag welcoming us to the house which we didn’t see right away because we were captivated by the view of the mountains through the large picture window. We sat on the deck most mornings drinking coffee with the fountain on as we watched deer, rabbits, hummingbirds go by all the while taking in the magnificent backdrop of the mountains. The sunsets were spectacular. Even if it was raining we could sit outside on the covered patio downstairs and enjoy the calming sound of rain falling. We played golf several days, visited the Air Force Academy, went to Crags trail and did a day trip to Breckenridge. The house is spacious, fabulously decorated and had plenty of activities to do right in the house with the pool table and other variety of games. We will be back to Colorado Springs in the future and would love to stay here again.

Family Trip
The Peter's home is everything and more. The home is thoughtfully decorated. It is warm and welcoming. The setting is beyond beautiful. We enjoyed peaceful mornings and evening on the deck and patio. Loved seeing deer in the yard and birds too. The kitchen has everything you will need. We ate in 95% of the time and didn't have to improvise for utensils. Everything is there. The cookbook in the kitchen is wonderful, ordered one on Amazon and had it waiting for me when we got home. All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and beddings. The bathrooms are well supplied. The game room in the downstairs family room was a family favorite.
Downtown Monument is quaint and fun. Castle Rock right up the road is so much fun as well. Take the back way to avoid I25 traffic, scenic and quicker.
We were all blessed beyond measure by our family get away. We want to come back for another stay.

Fabulous house
Our family enjoyed this house so much. The views were stunning and the house had everything you could imagine. The pool table was a hit with our kids along with all of the board games. Jennifer was so hospitable and kind. We definitely want to come back and stay again in the future.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. This house was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. I have to say I think they even undersell the view: there are gorgeous views of the mountains and nearby lake from the porch. There are great restaurants nearby and the location is perfect for outdoor activities. My party was blown away by the hospitality of the homeowners and would recommend staying here to anybody.

Beautiful home for any stay in the Colorado Springs area especially for USAFA families. We shared Jennifer's home during Parent's Weekend with another Cadet's family and we comfortably utilized the living quarters on the main level and lower level between the two parties. Beautiful Home!
I can’t say enough good things about how amazing Jennifer and Bob’s home is. Between the immaculate cleanliness, perfectly detailed decor, and stunning views it was the most comfortable and spacious home to accommodate my large extended family. Monument is such a great little Colorado town situated between Colorado Springs and Denver but it completely lacks hotel and Airbnb accommodations. I feel so lucky to have found this home on HomeAway for my family to stay in. Jennifer you were so easy to communicate with and so flexible I appreciate it s much!

Wonderful Weekend with Family
The property was perfect for our visit with family. Some live in Colorado Springs, so the out-of-town folks stayed at the house and the rest came to visit us. We spent most of the two days at the house enjoying the company. Having the two levels made it perfect for different groups to gather in small group visits.

Amazing vacation home
The home was beautiful, luxurious, super clean, and had everything we needed and more. It was very comfortable for our family of 10. We explored the small town of Monument and all of the recommendations were excellent! The location was great! We were able to drive to Denver for a day, see Old Colorado City, white water raft, see dinosaur fossils on a mountain side, go to Pike's Peak, eat breakfast on the Royal Gorge train, Air Force academy tour, and the sand dunes all during our stay and still come back and relax in the evenings! I would highly recommend this property!

Awesome home for large families in beautiful area
What a beautifully appointed and yet comfortable home! Beautiful views, great balcony and patio, and such a large and comfortable family room!
Everything in the house is extremely well organized, so you’ll find everything you need. The bedrooms are all very nice, so no one feels they got the not so good one (happens sometimes).
We totally recommend this house for a wonderful happy and relaxed vacation with friends or family.

Perfect Place To Stay!
This was a wonderful property for our family's short trip to the area. It was very clean, and situated in a neighborhood that was so lovely and quiet. Our kids said it was their second favorite rental we've ever had (the first is next door to Disney, probably unbeatable :-). We loved all the space, and the pool table was a great bonus. Communication was effortless, as was check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay here again!

PERFECT AIR FORCE GRADUATION HOUSE!
This Beautiful home in Monument is perfect for any large family. We were very fortunate to have found this home for my daughter's Air Force graduation. It was very close to the Academy, making it convenient to get to all the events early and easily.
All the bedrooms are gorgeous and beds are comfy. I received compliments on the beautifully decorated house and how comfortable the whole family felt staying there.
The downstairs is perfect for playing games, shooting pool or watching a movie.
We cooked every night in the kitchen which had every necessary utensil, pans, and dishes.
If, we had another family event I would definitely rent this home again. The owners Bob and Jennifer were Awesome!!
They communicated with me the entire time making our experience top notch. Thank you for making our daughter's AF graduation a wonderful memory.

Spectacular Home, Amazing Views and Gracious Host
If I could give this property 100 stars I certainly would. We were in town with a family of 10 for a destination wedding this January. The house was more than described, appointed with designer like decorating, gourmet stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and and enjoy.
Our host, Jennifer, made sure that not a detail was overlooked. We were snowed in for a day and enjoyed an excellent home cooked meal that was made even more enjoyable in the well appointed kitchen and comfortable dining room. 2 fireplaces roared and the younger people enjoyed video games, pool in the English walkout basement as well as card and board games. In the meantime, the rest of the group relaxed upstairs overlooking the snow capped mountains.
We appreciated the suggestions left and were able to take a trip to Colorado Springs and visit Garden of the Gods and enjoyed a fabulous lunch at The Broadmoor, something you wouldn't want to miss.
If you are considering a trip to this area, look no further, you have found a luxurious, peaceful and relaxing home! Thank you Jennifer.
