My children are in different locations so we met in Savannah. We did the Christmas Trolley which was magical. We ate out and enjoyed the bar seen with music. I had groceries delivered and we cooked breakfast every day. 4 bedrooms were huge and living room was great to hang out. Easy to get around. Only downside was sometimes traffic noise.

This home was the perfect place to bring our family for their first trip to Savannah. We were able to walk to almost everything and see the beauty that the historic district has to offer. The home was spacious and comfortable. Even though the bathrooms are outdated, everything was clean and well maintained. The Lucky Savannah team was super responsive and had great communication.

Upon arrival, we had to contact Lucky Savannah to obtain the access code. Located on top floor with a pretty long staircase. We noticed the temp was 85 on the inside and that there are tons of floor fans ion the home. The temp did come down a little for the first few days but on the last 2, the HVAC did not appear to work at all and the temp inside reached 90. I sent additional emails and the apologized but did not send anyone out before we left. That's the hottest night sleeping that I have ever had. Also, the dryer did not work very well and required tons of extra time to dry towels, etc. They stated that they had sent someone out to check it but we never saw anyone and only once heard someone attempt to unlock the coded door...not sure what happened there. The location is great and the interior is decent. It's a super old building and is imperfect but that was to be expected. Showers are really small and if you struggle with balance at all, please take care getting in and out.

Nice clean unit with 4 bedrooms. Good location. Enough toilet paper for 8 adults staying 3 nights (very important lol). Restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. Great communication from management company. Overall wonderful stay!

The property was overall perfect for our girls week. I would recommend you bring ear plugs as it is on a busy street and the amount of road noise is ridiculous all night long including street cleaners, revving engines, loud music, trucks and train whistles. Even earplugs didn't completely drown it all out . There were no mirrors in three out of the four bedrooms so getting ready to go out was a little challenging when you're sharing a bathroom. Kitchen and baths were well stocked. The only thing missing were boxes of tissue. The location was perfect - everything was within a mile to walk to so once we parked we did not have to move the car. I was unable to access the key code online ("system unavailable") when checking in so I did have to call, but luckily it was within office hours and the management was very helpful.

The property was in a great location, and It worked for my family of 7 adults to get away for Thanksgiving in the beautiful city of Savannah. While we enjoyed our stay, I do have to mention that we couldn’t believe the unevenness of the floors in every room. I know it’s a very old building but when you lay in the beds, you feel as if you are going to roll off, and you couldn’t help from wondering if it was structurally safe. Other than the floors, everything else was great. The property management was great! They are right down the street, everyone was helpful and nice. The apartment was clean, we had clean linens, and everything we needed. They made our stay effortless!

This was a girls (we are all in our late 60s) trip with lots of sightseeing and we expected to walk everywhere, so we didn't rent a car. First impressions of the house were good, it was just as pictured on the website. However on the second day, one of the guests slipped on the rug in the kitchen, fell and broke her ankle. We did report the fall to management when it happened but she didn't find out that it was broken until she returned home. She now has to have surgery on her ankle to repair the damage to it. Of course, she was then unable to do all the activities that we had planned. I do hope that the rugs have been replaced with something that is less dangerous. We removed the rugs when it happened, but the floor underneath was damaged as well. Everything else was just as described on the website.

The place was fantastic. We were attending a weekend conference that had locations all over the city. Being from Atlanta, staying here and being in a smaller city was perfect. Everything was close and several nice spots in walking distance. The place was very cool being an old restored grocery store. Several people commented on the noise. Maybe an issue for light sleepers, but was not bad for us since we were out late every night anyway. And nothing a noise machine could not solve. Parking was not easy, but we always found a parking spot within walking distance. We just had to learn the spots and move our cars at 8:00am before paid parking started. Not that much of a problem once we got used to it. Only suggestion for the property management would be add some lighting. Space was dark with only a few lamps to light the space. Some can lights throughout would elevate the space in a major way. Other than that, it was exactly what we needed and worked great.

This property has a beautiful, old soul that you can sense that before you even open the door. The owners have decorated it in a way that blends both its history and modernity seamlessly. However, I thought that previous reviews were over exaggerating the amount of traffic noise there is, but come to find out they were incredibly right. If you are a light sleeper, definitely bring earplugs for a good nights sleep. On the upside, we were always ready to hit the streets of Savannah by 8 A.M. everyday! Overall, we had an amazing time at the Corner Door Townhome!

The location and look of this rental attracted us. It does look beautiful. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of work needed to keep this location up. In one of the rooms, there is a giant crack along the wall and ceiling that was concerning as an older structure was recently in the news that collapsed and killed several people. In another room, the curtain rod and curtains were falling off the wall, the headboard was leaning over where you lie your head and the bed was propped up on a small stack of wood. The floors were so dirty, all of our feet and socks were black. I don't enjoy giving poor reviews. I think this property could absolutely flourish and would love to see it cleaned up a bit. The only other issue was the windows are so thin, you could hear everything outside as if the window were open. There is a stoplight with a crosswalk outside one of the windows and you could hear the crosswalk timer all day/night.

We planned a short stay in Savannah with our 4 grown kids to relax and reconnect. Savannah is one of our absolute favorites! The Corner Door Townhome was charming and nicely appointed. Plenty of room for everyone to have a bit of space. The location is convenient to many of the popular spots and restaurants in the Historic District. The only "hiccup" during our stay was that the stove was not working. Jamillah, from Lucky Savannah, handled the situation like a true professional! She is an absolute credit to this company. For all of our future visits to this beautiful city, we'll be using Lucky Savannah for accomodations.

Comfortable rental with convenient location
This place was great! I stayed here with a group of 7 and we were very comfortable with plenty of space. The location was very convenient to walk to the attractions of downtown and the river. It’s definitely a little loud at night with traffic from the corner, but our group wasn’t too bothered.

My three sisters and I were looking for a place with 4 bedrooms and this rental hit the mark. It was clean and had the right amenities for our 3 night stay. We were very impressed with the staff (located right down the street) who brought ice over when my sister had taken a nasty fall on a sidewalk nearby. However if you're looking for a good night sleep this rental is located on a corner of two busy streets which was very noisy especially for the two front bedrooms. Otherwise in a good location for touring around.

This property would be good for middle-aged adults only. The stairs are way too steep for elderly people. We had two people that were 70+ years old who had trouble going up and down the stairs. It wasn’t clear that this rental was going to be that difficult. There was nothing in the reviews about the steep staircase. There was also nothing in the reviews about the homeless people all around and mentally ill people wandering around by the door.
I could not allow my children to be outside of the rental without an adult. The noise outside was crazy loud when trying to sleep. Sirens and people laughing and screaming and loud motorcycles kept us up most of the nights. The condo was not well stocked and we killed several roaches. If it were just my husband and a few friends, it would’ve been fine. Not good for grannies and little kids. Bring a sound machine!
