We were 4 families with 5 kids under 5. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, as well as a very well stocked kitchen to cook for our large group. It was walking distance to a lovely park and quick drive to the village.

We gathered in Big Bear to celebrate the new year with our family. It’s a beautiful mountain cabin in a perfect location.

My family of 15 spent a week in the Wolfe’s Den over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The house was clean, comfortable and well-stocked, exceeding our expectations. The separate spaces worked well for a multi generational gathering. Even though we didn’t have any snow, the nearby park ended up being a hit with all ages. The host was very responsive. Thank you!

We were 3 families staying here and everyone absolutely loved it. The house was so clean, had the extra little amenities in the cupboards, check in process was very easy and has is extremely well kept. We loved the house and will definitely be staying here again in the future. It’s also 3 minutes from the slopes.

This is our 2nd stay at the Wolfe's Den, and we will be back. The friends that stayed with us all want to book it again for various family celebrations. The home is large and very clean and comfortable. The owner was so easy to deal with, and it is in a great location.

The cabin far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked for cooking, of which we did a lot, the place was spotlessly clean, and communication with the landlord was very fast. We were six adults staying and each person/couple had their own bedroom and it was plenty spacious to not feel like we were in each others way. The master bath tub was an unexpected treat, the dishwasher is completely silent you don’t even know it’s on. There is also housewide Bluetooth, the only warning I’ll give us make sure you know if and when it is playing outside. We didn’t realize the outside speakers were on for a bit of time. Everything is well explained in the directions book and we will definitely be staying there again.

The Wolfe Den property is amazing! Everything we could possibly need was available, the best stocked home we have ever rented. It is very comfortable with plenty of room for a large family or group. We loved the decor and no I did not count all the wolfs, there were just too many, but we thoroughly enjoyed them all!

Wolfe's Den is a great property. Exactly as described, even better. The decor is so fun, so many wolves! The grandkids had fun counting them. The cabin has everything needed for a great stay. We had one minor glitch and the owner was on it and so helpful. The house has two entertainment areas so that adults and kids have their own space. Great location, central but very quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Hope to be staying there again some day.

I was truely amazed with this home, the attention to the details of this home were unbelievable. I would like to like it be know that I am interested in returning to this property next year at this same week. Please let Jenny know of our interest in doing so, I hope we left the property clean and in better condition then when I arrived.

We had a fabulous time during our stay at the Wolfe’s Den.The home was filled with everything you can expect to have in a well stocked home including an incredible ambiance! We had an incredible stay and plan to return yearly for our family reunion. Jen, the owner was a DELIGHT to work with!

Excellent choice for our 2nd Annual 4th of July gathering. Plenty of room for 5 families. The kids loved their space downstairs and the adults had plenty more upstairs and on the patios.
The home is fully stocked; Jenny has thought of nearly everything. The location is good…close to parks and the lake and the neighborhood is nice. This is a fine location for bike riding and walking.
The check in process was easy. Jenny responded quickly to my questions. The kitchen was very nice for our family dinners…again, fully stocked. The new spa worked great.
Thanks for providing a fine destination for our family gathering.

Our extended family stayed and enjoyed the Wolfe Den very much!! Plenty of room, great amenities and a beautiful location. We all said we would like to return someday soon!

The wolf den was a perfect home away from home.
The owner was very responsive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We were in contact from the days leading to our trip and helped us track weather since it changed daily.
Everything we needed was provided, everything from pots and pans to cook all our meals and sleds for the kids to enjoy the snow right outside the property.
One thing we did forget was birthday candles, but we made due with some random candles we happened to find in one of the cabinets.
The washer and dryer was also an added touch that everyone appreciated.
All in all, was an enjoyable trip. We would certainly come back!

The wolf den was a great place for our church youth ski trip. We own the cabin up the street and needed an extra cabin for the girls cabin. Jenny’s wolf den was the perfect place. It is very warm and cozy. Lots of sleeping and perfect for a large group with teenagers. We will for sure. Be back to stay again. Thank you Jenny for such a great weekend.

This was a great place for three different families and kids. Loved the open layout and the fun decor. The only fireplace that required wood was the main upstairs livingroom but the other fireplaces were super convenient gas fireplaces. It's a little chillier in the downstairs bunkroom but there were plenty of extra blankets. The amenities were well-thought out - appreciated all the extra hooks for towels and such. Super close to Snow Summit. Everyone had a great time!

Enjoyed the snow after a heavy snow fall. Sad to report didn’t have a good experience renting from Jenny Schwing. Be wise and capture video/ picture of how you find the home and how you leave it. Have been a short term renter for over 10 years and never had issues until this encounter. I won’t go too much into detail but I stated my advice for future renters. Big Bear itself is always amazing to visit .

We truly enjoyed the property. The proximity to snow summit and the yard were a definite plus! The number of rooms and layout were great! Jenn is great to communicate with.

We loved our stay at the Wolfe's Den. The layout was perfect. The home was warm and inviting. Great decor, comfortable beds, and relaxing spa. We must remember next time to bring extra spa towels. There were 13 of us and with showers there were no extra towels for the spa (though there were 3 very soft robes). Bringing laundry detergent was a plus too. We were able to solve the problem by washing the towels we had. This home was located in a great neighborhood for walks. Not super close to walk to the Village for a winter walk, but walkable to a few restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

The Property is simply amazing. Warm, spacious and very inviting. It is EXACTLY as shown in the photos. The amenities were exceptional. The grill kicked out killer hot dogs, hamburgers and steaks. The kitchen was a joy to work in and enough space for several cooks at the same time. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. We loved it and hope to go back many times in the future.

I booked this house for my daughters wedding party. We had 10 adults staying in the house, with ages ranging from 22 to 85. The house exceeded everyone's expectations. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The 2 master suites are amazing. The kitchen is well equiped and extremely well organized. There was ample room for separation when it was needed and togetherness when it was not. We are definately looking forward to a return trip. Thank you.

Terrific multigenerational family cabin
The Wolfe's Den is laid out with enough bedrooms to accommodate 4-5 families plus the kids' bunk room. Two entertainment areas on separate floors. Very clean with plenty of kitchen amenities. Great quiet neighborhood and close to downtown, the boat docks and the lake. We are returning guests.

This place was our favorite spot we’ve ever stayed in Big Bear. It was so warm and cozy for our families. Every room themed with so much thought into every room. Our kids wanted to move in they loved it so much. We will definitely be back to the Wolfe’s den.
