We enjoyed the property. It was just as the listing described it. The only thing that was a small issue was the hill driveway to the property, but once we went up and a down it a couple of times we got used to it. Other than that, we had no issues and it was beautiful.

Had a good time with my family there going to visit the polar express train. It was a decent distance from Bryson and we liked the river view. I would say the cabin is more suitable for adults and not children under 6. There is no fencing or rocks a long the river bank so it was worrisome and scary having littles there. We tried fishing on the little floating dock and didn’t have luck catching anything but it was still a nice experience. Communication was great and the owner or manager was very nice.

The cabin and property were beautiful, we spent much of the weekend on the front porch or at the fire pit in the back after dark. The casino was just a short drive away for a fun afternoon outing on Saturday. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms very clean. We loved every minute of it. We got to see several elk on the way out of Cherokee. You have to take all of your trash with you when you leave but there is a dumpster not far away so it wasn’t a big deal, just make sure you have some extra large and sturdy trash bags if you’re doing a lot of cooking and have to haul your trash in the back of an SUV like we did!

The house was extremely clean. The front porch has an amazing view of the gently flowing crystal clear river. The location feels secluded but is very close to down town Cherokee. We met the owner and his son. They are exceptional people. We would definitely stay here again.

I was a little disappointed that I could not get to the river to fish the bank needs to be cleaned off where you can get down to fish. there is a dock but there are trees in the way. But other than that, it was a nice place.

Fabulous location! Lovely house on a serene and calm spot on the river. Wonderful vacation and we plan to come back next year. Day, our host, was ready to answer questions our whole stay and made sure we were good to go! Awesome experience!

This property was exactly has advertised . The property manager was easy to talk to and answered any questions I had. Location is great if you are looking for a private, peaceful and quiet getaway . My kids enjoyed having their own private dock to Jump off of and swim in the river. The house was cozy and very clean one minus for me personally was there are no ceiling fans throughout and I usually sleep with a fan on but other than that this place is perfect! Location is close to many things but yet secluded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This was our second stay at the cabin, and we enjoyed it even more! Our kids really enjoyed the water and fishing. For a family of five, we had ample room for our stay. The location is secluded, but still conveniently located within 10-20 minutes of everything! We will be back again! See you later, Cabin! :)

We always come for the Cherokee Powwow (6th year) and try different places. This was perfect - peaceful, quiet, great view of the river. Beautiful !!

We spent the week here as a family and it was wonderful. The house is very cozy with plenty of places to sit and just relax, beds and furniture is super comfortable and all you hear is nature. You are very close to Cherokee with plenty of things to do there as well. We will be staying here again. Thank you

Perfectly immaculate and sweet as a button, this property was just right. The description was right on target… even better!!!
Although, I had originally looked for a property with a hot tub, game room, etc… I opted for less media and quick access to the outdoors and just a few minutes from each Bryson City and Cherokee.
My four teen kids had the best time! They thoroughly enjoyed the fishing hole and exploring. The cabin had plenty of room for a family of six consisting of four teenagers.
Front porch was just right for a relaxing view, reading a book and enjoying a drink.
I didn’t have a problem with the somewhat short, steep driveway, but it was Memorial Weekend.

This was a great place. Quiet and "remote" . Being from Florida, the steep slope down the mountain was a bit scary, but we got use to it, kinda.... Everything else was great! Had everything we needed. We were able to cook a full thanksgiving meal with the dishes and utensils on site. Comfortable furnishings and beautiful! Hope to come back in the summer maybe!

Beautiful house and property with helpful, communicative hosts! We had all we needed to relax, fish, enjoy the scenery, and chat on the massive front porch and by the fire pit too! I hope to stay here again sometime with more friends and family, maybe in summer when we can swim in the gorgeous river. Thank you, Day, for your hospitality and sharing your place with us!

My wife and I enjoyed our two-night stay with our 3 adult children and one of our grandchildren. A rare opportunity to spend quality time together.
Our accommodations were great, clean and comfortable. My only disappointment was the condition of the grounds between the house and river. Steps were in serious need to be replaced. They were dangerous at best. The two docks available were unstable and in need of updating with rails and better access. The vegetation was rather overgrown along the river access.

I've been coming to Cherokee for close to 25 years and out of all the places I've stayed this is my new favorite. It was nice and very clean and we loved the location. My Granddaughter said she could live there forever. Me too!

The directions to the place are very clear.
The house was clean and the location even better. If you are looking for a place to unplug and chill. This is the place. The porch is a great place to sit and watch the lazy river and unwind.
The house is beautifully decorated. One thing that is not mentioned in the ad. The tubs are deep enough for a good soaking.
If you are looking to unplug and unwind, then you really need to give the place a try.

The cabin inside was very clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. The steps to the socks were ackward due to the holy ground but doable even with a kakay in hand. The location was isolated enough to have privacy but not ling drive to get food or supplies or even venture to the casino. Plenty of fun to be had with fishing, kakaing, and swming in the river.

I booked this as a surprise for my husbands 50th with his brother and cousins they had a really great time and loved the location and the host was great with communication. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property, it is a memory they will never forget.
