This is our second time staying at the Casa with our large family of 6 kids. We still have room for a couple other family members to join as well. Gilberto and the service team are amazing, makes for the most relaxing holiday. The place is a work of art, never ceases to impress how creative the design. It is a little dated but they keep the areas you actually use clean and functional. Lots of privacy while being right on the beach with beautiful sunsets every night. We are served meals on the patio, watching the whales and dolphins and birds. They make you feel like royalty or something (which we’re certainly not…) but it makes for our most favorite holiday experience!

Cannot say enough good things about Casa Salamandra. From the second our group arrived (Group of 13) we experienced 5 star service at a 5 star property. First, Gilberto and the staff were absolutely amazing. Attentive, receptive and helpful every step of the way. We had a minor medical emergency and Gilberto was right there to support and take one of us to the clinic. The prepared meals and drinks were so delicious- I'm talking about the most delicious, fresh breakfasts, seafood ceviches, burritos and tasty pina coladas. The pricing was more than reasonable and the food was a true highlight. Next, the property itself is stunning. Yes, some parts were a little tired, but this is easily bypassed when you take in how gorgeous the pool area is, the private beach volleyball court and the immediate access to one of the most stunning beaches we have ever seen. We kept remarking that the property reminded us of villas in Santorini. Do yourself a favor and reserve Casa Salamandra if you want true luxury and memories for a lifetime. Our only complaint is that we did not book longer.Thank you to Marcelo, Gilberto and the entire team.

We stayed at Casa Salamandra from 12-26-19 to 1-2-20. Marcelo Mereles, the owner, was easy to communicate with, very responsive to our questions and very kind to us. His property was as described and was the best I have ever stayed at regarding location right on the beach of the Bay of Banderas in Nuevo Vallarta.
Gilberto, who is the 24/7 on site concierge along with Shelly and Shaxeo provided us with 5 star service regarding meal preparation and service (whatever we wanted) as well as maintaining the living quarters and property and arranging transportation for a fishing trip and a trip to Las Caletas. These people made us feel very at home and treated us as a member of their family, always with a pleasant manner and smile on their faces.
I highly recommend Casa Salamandra with no reservation!!
