Il nostro condominio si trova a Gentle Winds, uno sviluppo di 65 unità situato sulla North Shore di St. Croix. Gentle Winds è costruito su 66 acri di proprietà fronte oceano con viste spettacolari da tutte le unità. Il famoso punto di immersione chiamato West Wall si trova proprio sulla spiaggia di fronte, dove due barche per immersioni possono essere viste ancorando i loro ospiti per godersi le immersioni di metà mattina o metà pomeriggio. Siamo a 5 minuti a piedi, a meno di 1/4 di miglio, dal porto turistico di Salt River.
Il lungomare ha una bellissima spiaggia sabbiosa con palme e un sacco di sedie a sdraio per prendere il sole o tirare sotto una capanna foderata di palme per un po 'd'ombra. C'è una sezione chiusa per il nuoto: prendi la maschera e fai snorkeling per scoprire alcuni colorati pesci corallini locali.

We so enjoy Pam's condo...maybe except for the winding
staircase. The entry to Gentle Winds is beautiful. The location seems to work well for everything we like to do.
Roads are just awful and have to be an observant driver, but we handled that all very well.
The Condo has 3 new and great bathrooms. The House manager is amazing and very thoughtful. I could only
suggest she may drop in the second week of a visit for a
quick floor clean up.....sand seems to accumulate everyday on the white floors. Hard to keep up while on vacation. We love this place and and have been there several times and plan to go back again. Lots of people there this time, but very quiet and pleasant around us.All and all a great experience that I would highyrecommend.

The condo is great overall! Great location, Pam was so easy to work with and answered all my questions promptly.
The condo well appointed, clean, comfortable. The only thing that was not great was that the two downstairs bedrooms did not get very cool at night even with the ac on. Glad we had the fans in our room. The main areas and upstairs had no issue but those two bedrooms got very warm!

Everything about our trip to St. Croix was amazing from start to finish. Pam was the perfect host during our first family trip to the Caribbean.
The condo and property were exactly as shown in the listing and had everything we needed for our stay..including beach towels, beach bags, and a few other items that we did not bring.
Pam provided suggestions for everything from restaurants to activities while on the island.
We loved having the Beach Shack on the property so that we could enjoy lunch, dinner and cocktails without leaving the beautiful beach.
All in all, it was a great week and Pam was a wonderful, responsive host. We will definitely be back!!

This was our 2nd trip to St Croix, and our 2nd trip to Gentle winds. We have been to many islands in the Carribean and we are impressed with this one. Gentle winds was the first place we ever stayed here and we have now stayed here twice, that is as high a compliment as I can give it! Pam and Jamie's condo is great and worked well for our family of six with the youngest being 13 and the oldest being 54. They communicate well and quickly. You'll be happy here.

So the good before a couple little works in progress. The property is absolutely beautiful. The pool area with the cabana is amazing. The beach areas also amazing the water there is very rocky so not the best beach to swim at but still very awesome one. The home is beautiful on the inside a little dated in the downstairs bathrooms. The faucets definitely need an upgrade because it’s hard to get the hot and cold water just right where you don’t burn yourself. We had a little air condition trouble for three of the days we stayed, but our amazing host did refund some of the money which we greatly appreciate because she could not control that other than this this is an absolute must stay if I could’ve bought the property I would’ve that’s how much we loved it. The island is absolutely beautiful. We try to new beach every day one day, we’ll definitely return to this amazing venue in the island.

The condo was comfortable and has incredible views. Love the screen porch! It was really nice to have sunscreen and beach towels provided.
The pool is very nice and we loved there are chairs with tiki hut umbrellas on the beach so we could relax in comfort in the shade. And the food at the snack bar was great - highly recommend the coconut shrimp, ahi tuna tacos and hot dogs!

Beautiful property with a great pool and access to a very nice beach. The beach does slope so made it a little harder for my daughter to play, but she enjoyed it just the same. The property itself was well maintained with people out early each morning cleaning everything. The ice maker and washer/dryer were not available during our stay but the owner made everything right with options that worked well. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo by the ocean. It was a wonderful experience. Just make sure folks know to book rental cars more than 3 months in advance. That was the only issue but had nothing to do with the wonderful stay and the hospitality of the community. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

This is our 3rd stay at the property and were so happy to come back. The place is stocked with all the essentials, the property manager is very friendly and welcoming on our arrival. Love that the pool and beach is a quick little walk away. Gentle awinds is simply lovely.

This condo was incredible! It’s exactly what everyone wants when you go to the Caribbean! It has an amazing screen porch to watch the ocean and had 2 different upper decks for relaxing! It is only a few steps away on the private estate to the beach and pool. The beach has great chairs and has great snorkeling! The pool is big and super clean and you watch the palm trees around you sway! Also, the condo came with everything you could want. A huge ice machine, was very crucial, blender, tons of cups and plates and plenty of space to play games with your friends! Also, it’s soooo close to the best restaurants like Ama, The Landing, and Flyers! Also, super close to the downtown Christiansted. Honestly, you could hang at this estate the entire time with a spouse or friends and have the best time. It’s very safe and there are grills you can grill out right next to the ocean that is provided by the HOA. We can’t wait to come back in the future!

First visit to St. Croix did not disappoint! My party/family consisted of my wife and I and 4 kids (aged 21-11). Condo had plenty of room we never felt cramped at all. 3 balconies total (2 facing beach, one off master one off TV/Living room) very good views all around! Gentle Winds is very conveniently located 15-20 min from AP. Condo is 2nd level (about 7-10 steps straight up to entry from very close parking). Kitchen very well stocked with cookware, utensils, glasses etc.... WiFi is good and TV is adequate. Plenty of beach towels and toys rackets etc.... Was very clean and tidy upon arrival. Fixtures and furniture are a bit dated but everything functions and feels good. Pool is nice and very conveniently located (about 2 min walk from L2 and steps from the beach). There is a mini bar/snack shack at the pool that operates during the season (Oct-Apr). The Landing (restaurant/bar/dive shop) was a good spot located about 10 min away. I highly recommend Ama for a date night located 10 min away very close to the Landing. Very friendly staff. Gentle Winds gives you a feel of seclusion but in reality everything you need is within 5-10 min drive. I would absolutely bring my family back here again. Thanks so much Pam for making our stay a memorable one!

We had a group of 8 and found the property very accommodating and comfortable. Although the place could definitely use some updating/repair from age and wear and tear, everything was in working condition, it was comfortable and conveniently located. We really enjoyed the property’s amenities.
We were a little bummed that the beach wasn’t really swimmable due to coral, but we definitely enjoyed the pool and the bar. Really great property!

Wonderful townhome and location
Our family had a great week at Gentle Winds in the last week of June 2022. The townhome was well stocked with just about anything you could need on vacation... board games, towels, beer coozies, etc. The Gentle Winds property could not be a better place to have a fun / relaxing family vacation. The facilities are great, the pool was right by the beach and there was also a fantastic patio bar / restaurant that served delicious food and pool drinks every afternoon.

This condo was fair, but a bit rundown. The kitchen was supplied with plenty of dishes for our needs, but no dishwasher soap and not enough toilet paper for the week. The unit below us was being remodeled, so that was noisy with drills and saws running.

We loved the Gentle Winds! We explored much of the beautiful island and definitely found some other amazing beaches and locations, but reflected on that Gentle Winds was a perfect combo of all we wanted in a location. Loved the views from the condo, relaxing at the sandy beach or hanging at the beach bar/restaurant. Great grounds to take some walks and explore and find signs of sea life on the rocky part of shoreline. There was a perfect blend of sun and shade so that you can enjoy a ton of time outside even if you need breaks from the sun. After a day or two of getting used to driving on the island, we found the 15/20 minute drive to Christiansted interesting and convenient enough to drive in for shopping, coffee drinks, and to catch Buck Island tour. Loved that kayaking tours of Salt Bay were less than 5 minutes from Gentle Winds and scenic drive to Cane Bay with its restaurants and sunset views was quite close. Fredricksted was a bit more of a trip, but it was a fun adventure in a jeep and the calmer, beautiful turquoise waters so worth it! The condo itself has a cottage feel and has areas that could definitely be updated, however, it has all you could need, is kept clean and has very attentive and responsive owners which is what really mattered to us. There was a wonderful breeze through the condo when you opened up it up and we never turned on the air conditioning! Thank you so very much to the Breen’s for sharing their condo with us!

Lovely spot
We enjoyed our stay at Gentle Winds, which is the best property on St Croix in my opinion. The condo had three bedrooms, which was fantastic for our group. We loved the beach and the pool and the grounds are well cared for. We have stayed at Gentle Winds three times now and every time it's been great.

Beautiful setting for a relaxing vacation
You can’t beat the setting of Gentle Winds - it is hard to leave when everything you need is here - the pool the ocean the beautiful grounds and the Sunny Shack , although we did hit our North Shore favorite restaurants - Flyers, Ama Cane Bay and The Landing as well as Cane Bay Beach. The hosts provided all info needed and were easy to work with - nice unit! We had a wonderful time!

A great place to stay very convenient to the beach and to the swimming pool convenient to either end of the island, and within easy driving distance of grocery stores and in the middle of some of the ecological areas that could be explored.

The Gentle Winds is a very nice place, right on the beach. The pool was nice and the beach was amazing! We will definitely be back and staying at the Gentle Winds! Pam was great to work with and answered every question we had promptly.

Great home base for our large group
This was everything I was looking for in a property for our large group (4 couples, 1 single, and our 2 year old). The grounds at Gentle Winds were lovely. We went in August which is off season and there were very few other tourists at the complex so the pool and beach were empty most of the time. We had diving booked every morning, but spent some of the afternoons at the condo. It's a great location if you're planning to dive Christiansted and Frederiksted. It was very convenient for couples to be able to visit the pool or beach without needing to drive anywhere. We could all do our own thing when we had unscheduled time, but we'd always come together and cook dinner at the condo. The condo was well equipped with cookware and dishes.

The unit was refreshingly dated and reminded us of a big family hug. You could feel the love throughout the unit. The location was perfect with all sorts of daily activity options just outside your door. We’ll definitely be planning future trips to the island with friends and family. Pam was also a great communicator.

Birthday Week Getaway
Great location on the northern coastline. Spectacular views and great amenities (community pool, snack bar serving alcohol/food, BBQ grill at the community cabana w/tools). Accommodations were clean, well-stocked (towels, beach gear, plates/cutlery/flatware/kitchenware, etc.), and spacious. Felt like a true beach house! My girlfriend and I enjoyed our week long stay celebrating, exploring, and chilling out. We'll be back soon!

We were at this condo with five kids ages 11 to 20 and it was a great, relaxing vacation spot. There were a couple of little glitches at the unit, but working with the owner was easy. She was very good and responsive. We would all go again in a heartbeat!
