Questa è una sistemazione a 5 stelle. Non rimarrete delusi e un grande rifugio in ogni stagione! In estate e in autunno, goditi la buca per il fuoco all'aperto, il pedalò, la canoa e la barca a remi (con motore elettrico), la zattera per il nuoto e i percorsi per passeggiate a piedi e in bicicletta. In inverno, rilassati con un buon libro e cacao caldo davanti al camino a gas o goditi la sauna in cedro personalizzata dopo le racchette da neve o lo sci di fondo.
La cucina è dotata di elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, tra cui una stufa a gas e un forno elettrico a convezione, ed è ben fornita di pentole, padelle, stoviglie: tutto il necessario per preparare ottimi pasti e una griglia a gas inossidabile all'aperto. C'è TV satellitare, lettore DVD e lettore CD con docking station per iPod e wifi.

Beautiful 2nd floor guest house ! Perch Lake was still, quiet and spectacular fall foliage. Owners, Brenda and Heidi were very communicative and helpful. We enjoyed a bike ride to Big Mckenzie lake and visit to Spooner. House was very nicely designed and appointed. The sauna and shower on lower level is very nice and welcomer on a cool day.
Stairs up to the 2nd floor are steep and easy to misstep. railing should be routed for a safer hand grip.
We would like tot come again and have already recommended the guest house to friends.

This property was just what the "doctor" ordered after a stressful year of dealing with the health issues of our elderly cats and the death of one of them. I loved the view from the deck and enjoyed reading and drinking coffee at the kitchen counter every morning. We took the hike around the lake and enjoyed that as well. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. A word of warning for elderly people who might be contemplating a stay. There are about 16 steep steps to the kitchen upon entering thru the front entrance. You can also enter via the deck side which is a little easier to climb, but that door needs to be unlocked first. Also, it might not be clear to guests that the entrance to the sauna and 2nd bathroom is thru the garage or via an outside door. I mistakenly thought you could use the 2nd bathroom directly from the main cabin area without having to go thru the garage or go outside. The hosts respected our privacy and also were very responsive to a problem we had with a broken seat on the canoe. It was fixed immediately. A good hiking spot near Spooner is the Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary. Also, we recommend the Trego Nature Nature Trail along the Namekagon River. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We always love coming to this cabin. We enjoy kayaking on the private lake and fishing. Our dogs love it too!

The property is beautiful. Very pretty lake and beautiful trees. The guest house you stay in is very nice, clean and well equipped.
The guest house is above a shared garage. This garage is used by the owners regularly. The second bathroom and sauna are only accessable through the shared garage or outside.
If you bring dogs you will need to coordinate with the owner each time you go outside with them and when you come back in.
The property is also used by the owners friends and family, so you will have company using the dock that is below the rental and the garage since that's where the boat equipment is kept.
All in all, a very nice house and property, but a little too busy for our taste and the regular messaging with the owner to coordinate who would be outside when was not conducive for relaxation.

My two boys (10 and 14) had the most magical trip. Fishing and swimming and playing card games. The VRBO has Beautiful! Comfortable beds! Best sheets ever! Will definitely be going back!

A wonderful cabin in a beautiful setting. It really does feel like you are in a tree house. But a very well-equipped one. The sauna was a nice extra. The deck gets morning and evening shade so we ate breakfast and dinner outside most days. You are near several bar and grills for pizza, burgers, fish fry, etc. And about 20 minutes to Spooner for great coffee at Redemption Coffee. It was a great location for seeing a lot of Northern Wisconsin, and about 2 hours to MSP. The wildlife is plentiful—deer, squirrels, hummingbirds, songbirds, and we spotted a bald eagle and a piebald fawn. Very peaceful and surrounded by trees, through which you can see the lake below. Very scenic and peaceful, a calming retreat to enjoy family time.

We had a very peaceful week at this property. Due to the heat and very dry conditions, we did not do much outside (like the fire pit). We did walk in the area early each morning and enjoyed the wildlife -- except for the ticks! Thankfully, the owners warned us beforehand so we (and our dog) were prepared. Watched a lot of movies, took daily naps, and enjoyed the wonderful surroundings. Could not have asked for a better stay!

The place was wonderful. Absolutely beautiful and remote. My one concern/rub was the stairs. My girlfriend has bad arthritis in her hips and knees. She had a very hard time with the 20 stairs from the entrance to the living area. If you're physically impaired this is not the place for you. The fishing in the private lake is incredible. Never seen bluegills that big or that many and lots of eager bass also but carrying the battery up and down the stairs/walk from the garage to the lake and back for charging is a young persons chore. Otherwise I absolutely loved it and at 67 years old I hope I have it in me to do it again next year.

My family and I visited this property for spring break in the middle of March. We had bad weather that served as bookends for our trip. The private drive was not cleared when we got there at check in, but we were able to make it to the house using all-wheel drive. The snow plow service came later that evening and did a fantastic job. The sauna was amazing and was a great break from the cold. The house was very clean, but found it difficult as a family of 4 to have our own space. In the middle of winter, there is not a lot to do within an hour’s drive of the place. All the “touristy” attractions were shut down. There is a bar and restaurant called What the Heck that is 3 miles north, which was a great place to go and had excellent pizza. We brought our snowshoes and cross country skis, and enjoyed using them on the lake. The property is pet friendly, and we brought our dog. The property manager’s mother lives in a house on the same private road, and it was difficult to get used to texting back-and-forth when our respective dogs needed to go outside. The place is very well-kept, clean, and tucked away in the northwest Wisconsin woods. We would definitely visit again.

if you like forest and water this is a great secluded place for you. the owners are on property, however dont let that stop you. you are only 15 min to town, but feels like your 100s of miles from people. we truly enjoyed our little soire.

The property and rental are well maintained. Very private and quiet. We had a very pleasant time enjoying the private lake and surrounding property. The fishing was very good with the use of a fishing boat, paddle boat, and a canoe. We will rent again in the future. Excellent communications with the property owner.

We loved the beautiful cabin and the QUIET of being on a small private lake. A swim in the clear refreshing water was amazing. We enjoyed a movie and games when it rained. Just so relaxing!!

We stayed for three nights with our dog. The home is so beautiful and well equipped. It was the most relaxing weekend and we had a lot of fun swimming in the lake and taking the canoe out. Our dog loved it. We tried the sauna and that was relaxing too. The trails around the house are well-maintained. We ate in the area and had good meals in three different restaurants. It was hard to leave. Would have liked to stay longer.

This was our second year staying here - we love it! Cabin is so well stocked & tastefully decorated. Our boys had fun catching (& releasing) so many fish, paddle boating, canoeing & swimming. Such a great place!

We had a 6 night stay and enjoyed walking the trails with wildlife sightings galore, enjoyed the lake for swimming and catching rays, and relaxed in the beautiful sauna. There is a downstairs bathroom that is conveniently located near the sauna and is great for use when coming in from swimming. It is a huge walk-in with dual shower heads. This place is just wonderful!

Great property! Have stayed here several times over the years and have enjoyed the peaceful beauty of this property. The trails are wonderful! The view from the deck over the private lake is fabulous! The sauna is an extra delight. The house and property are well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here.
