Clean, stylish, well-appointed apartment. Will return when I’m back in Louisville.

What a nice place. Older, refurbished upstairs apartment. It was very quiet and everything you need is there. We have stayed in many VRBO places, but this one was exceptional in cleanliness!! If you can do steep stairs, this one is great!

The efficiency is clean with everything working as it should. The TV was easy to use. Downtown Louisville with the museums and parks are 5-10 minutes from the house, as are restaurants on Bardstown Road.

Apartment exceeded our expectations. Was very clean and comfortable. Cheryl, the host was easy to reach by phone, and quick to respond with any requests. Just wished we would have booked for another day or two!

Great location and airy space. Renters need to know that you are on the second floor with additional stairs at front door entry. Not for those with certain physical limitations. Hopefully the owner will have a new mattress on the otherwise comfortable king bed in the near future. Everything else great!

We really enjoyed our stay. Parking was easily accessible, distance from down town was only a short 10 minute drive. The unit was clean and tidy. The host had several small touches that made the it feel homey And she was quick to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this host and VRBO.

Simple check in with easy private access. This is a beautiful and meticulously clean home with great access to the old downtown area. The home has free on street parking with great availability. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and comfortable!!

This is a good location from which you can get to most tourist venues in about 7 minutes. House has been broken into four apartments. This unit is on the second floor and includes a big bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. It is very clean and has all that you need. We had a great stay.

Truly such a great experience! The bed was SO comfy, we slept great! There were extra blankets, tons of clean towels, creamer and toiletries. Every single piece of bedding/ towels smelled so good and fresh, and we loved being so close to so many restaurants and hikes! The only reason we gave 3 stars for location is because the neighboring homes had bad yards and within a mile or two there are lots of abandoned places, but we felt perfectly safe inside the home! It literally had vaccuum lines in the entry way and on the stairs!

The owner was very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was supplied with toiletries, keurig with supplied k-cups/creamer/sweeteners, and complimentary water in the fridge.. the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable… wonderful stay.

Everything was as advertised. Only stayed 2 nights, but it was great!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at "Old Louisville". We are seniors and appreciated the cleanliness and well appointed apartment. 2nd floor, so ability to climb steps is a must. Area of town makes all very accessible most by car, but local walking tour was great. Would repeat if need comes. Thanks, Cheryl

This was a very clean and updated property. It was in a very quiet neighborhood and we had a restful couple of nights. The owner was great and accommodating.

We loved our stay in Old Louisville! We were centrally located and within a short walk or drive to all that we were interested in. We walked to the St. James Court area and admired the stately homes along the way. The home was roomy and, as the other reviewers have stated, the bed was very comfortable! I also appreciate the fact that we had two large pillows each for comfort. The home is very tastefully decorated. Yes, there is a steep flight of stairs, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Not a deal-breaker, but you will definitely get a work out. Cheryl had the place well-stocked, including Keurig pods, shampoos and soaps, etc. Would stay there again!

Enjoyed our stay. The house was adorable and super clean. Our host was friendly and so helpful with suggestions on what to see and where to eat and drink. Had a blast and highly recommend staying there.

We drove by the location, excited to begin our adventure in Louisville, KY and were sorely disappointed. We drove around the block and the neighborhood did not improve. There was trash in the streets and on the sidewalks. There were questionable people standing on the corners and walking down the street. Other buildings in the area were run down and sad. We knew due to the time of year that the flowers pictured outside the building would not be in bloom, but the outside of our VRBO building was much less than we were lead to believe based upon the photos in the promo. The writeup said the house was within walking distance to many attractions. We knew we would not feel comfortable walking anywhere in the neighborhood and the "attractions" were unappealing. We messaged the owner saying we were not comfortable staying in the neighborhood. He replied "he had been part of that neighborhood for over 20 years and was very proud of it". We found a room at the Drury Inn for our stay. I feel it speaks loudly about our willingness to give up our prepaid VRBO to pay to stay in a safer location. This was our first and LAST attempt to use a VRBO establishment. We like to support local businesses but not at the expense of our safety.
