Beautiful property set in the jungle.. tranquil, comfortable, has everything you need. About 3-4km from the town so an easy bike ride. Free bikes to use at the homestay too.

The tours on offer from the homestay were very expensive, maybe that is the normal place in that area. The travel to get there and back to HCM expensive (but very comfortable) it is about 2.5hrs from the city so factor that transit into plans.

The family was very friendly and helpful. The homestay is located in the garden, in a peaceful village. We were welcomed with fresh coconut, and we loved the fresh fruits from the garden. They have free bicycles, and you can enjoy the village during the trip. It was a very pleasant stay :)

The property was amazing - like living in a jungle! Loved all the fruit trees and the huts over the canal where we ate; the home-cooked meals that were offered were amazing! The coconut shrimp was our absolute favorite Vietnam meal. The rooms were clean and roomy, but the bed was too firm for our taste. The owners were great at communication while we planned our adventures, which included transport from the airport in HCMC, riding bikes through the small local streets, a local food tour that included boating on the Mekong River. Our guide that was arranged for us spoke excellent English and was able to provide a very thorough immersion into to local culture. There were not too many local accommodations available in the Ben Tre area, but we lucked out with this one. One of the best highlights of our 2-week tour of Vietnam.

Our only recommendation is to update the mattresses.
