Wonderful short getaway at this lovely cabin. It is beautifully decorated and super clean despite being pet friendly. Perfect for just the two of us but also has room for another family. Great location too. Michelle was very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

This was our first time visiting Deep Creek and my family and I (myself, my husband + 2 kids ages 12 and 8) wanted a cozy, cute log cabin with a hot tub. We looked at a lot of different cabins that were similar, but this one stood out because of the updated furnishings, covered porch, private hot tub patio (we wanted one outside because it's so much more fun to sit in a hot tub outside as it's snowing!) and a great location among a walkable village of similar cabins and close to Wisp, the lake and many food options. It was all of that and more; we can not wait to come back and stay here again!!
Michelle was an incredibly helpful and responsive host before / during booking and after we checked out -- nothing required us to contact her during our stay!

This cozy cabin was perfect for our family weekend getaway. Michelle made everything very easy for us to check in and out and even gave us recommendations of where to eat. The cabin itself was very beautiful and clean inside and out. All appliances worked and the hot tub while it was snowing was wonderful. My family and I will be back again very soon. Highly recommend this stay.

Can’t say enough good about Nirvana! Michele was a pleasure to work with and her home is absolutely adorable. From the decor to the amenities provided to the location, all top notch! The cabin was clean and so comfy, Michele sent a very detailed text giving all kinds of great recommendations for the area which was so helpful! We really appreciate places that are fur baby friendly as well, our kind of people! I wouldn’t change a thing about our two day getaway, it was so cozy, the leaves were at their peak and the location was so peaceful. You won’t be sorry with this listing, we give it a 10!

The cabin is cozy, clean and stocked with everything you need. Our first night we enjoyed the hot tub. Despite all nearby cabins being occupied it was extremely quiet. Our full day was rainy so we opted to sleep in and lounge around watching movies. It was the perfect getaway and we hope to go back in the summer with our kids.

We had a wonderful weekend in this cozy cabin. It had everything we needed including coffee pods, toilet paper and paper towels.The location was fantastic. The community was very peaceful and was nice to walk our dog. We would definitely stay here again.

We needed a dog friendly place near deep creek state park for a mountain bike race. Nirvana was perfect. Minutes from the park. So comfortable. Hot tub was spotless and so appreciated after a long day of riding. Well stocked kitchen. Cute little neighborhood. Michelle, the owner, was extremely responsive. Highly recommend.

Nice cabin in a cute neighborhood of cabins. Everything was very nice. The downstairs shower was a bit inadequate and our bedsheets had a few dog hairs and crumbs. There were pillows everywhere and that made it a bit overwhelming and not feel as clean. Other than that, the place was very nice.

We couldn't possibly have been more happy with "Nirvana"! This cabin had every single thing we could have wanted, was spotlessly clean, with a location that can't be beat. We roasted marshmallows over the no-fuss propane fire pit and relaxed on the roomy front porch. We soaked for hours in the hot tub on a cool day. It was cozy but connected, with fast wi-fi that kept the teens happy. It was a five minute drive to the beach at the lake—::chef's kiss:: We had zero problems, but with this super responsive owner, I'm confident any problems would have been handled easily and without delay. A+++! Can't wait to go back!

This property is a 2 bedroom, log home gem in the woods near Deep Creek Lake. The owner is a good communicator; calling to welcome us close to when we were to arrive, providing a list of places to eat and answering questions we had. We had a great time!

Hubby and I spent 2 nights at the cabin. It was perfect! The cabin is well-equipped, super clean, and located close to the lake. It was such a peaceful getaway. We will most likely return in the future!

Had a great time with my husband and two adult children at Nirvana. The house was the perfect size and we really enjoyed capping off our busy days with a soak in the hot tub or by sitting around the gas fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and everything up-to-date. Used the gas grill for a cookout night as well. Decor was exactly what you’d want at your cabin by the lake. I would definitely recommend.

Perfect spot located near the State parks and many restaurants. Hot tub was awesome and the firepit on the porch made it very cozy.

We stayed for three nights (wish there had been more nights available, but we booked kind of late for that). It was strangely cold (we were lucky when it was around 64/65°) and rained on and off daily, but we had the best time. Despite the weather, we weren't ever bored and actually came home each evening too exhausted to use the fire pit (which we had been wanting to use). The house was clean and well kept. The linens were all provided and in good condition. The homeowner was available to answer any questions we had in a timely manner.
We lucked out with a break in the rain when we had scheduled a pontoon boat tour with High Mountain Sports (which was fantastic). Dutch's, Ace's Run and Firewater were all great for food and drinks. Lakeside Creamery isn't to be missed either. Honi Honi is a nice little dove bar with a playground, that I'm sure is better in nicer weather. Swallow Falls has easy walks to the waterfalls. Monkey Business was fun for the little to do (us adults aren't as brave) and has nice views. Short Story Brewing had decent beer. Deep Creek Lake State Park has a nice playground that's right on the lake and a small public beach area.
Our young child asked if the school bus would be able to start doing pick ups and drop offs from the cabin.
10/10 would (and plan on) staying again. We definitely see why there are so many repeat guests.

Great cabin! Nice location. We usually get a waterfront cabin; this cabin is close to lake and tucked in the trees in a very nice area for walking, relaxing. Enjoyed my morning coffee and afternoon wine on the deck.

My husband and our three kids stayed at this cabin for a time to recharge and relax. It was perfect- quiet little neighborhood, great amenities and clean! Even though it was the end of June the weather was cool and rainy so we had fires in the fireplace each night, dipped in the hot tub each day and hiked every time the sun peeked out! We LOVED swallow falls most and had a great time at Deep Creek State park. Each morning and night the kids rode their scooters around the neighborhood loop. We had absolutely no service and were so thankful! It helped us to truly unplug and recharge although we did have take pics of our route to our destination before we left the cabin’s Wi-Fi! Thanks for a great trip :)

We could not have asked for a better anniversary getaway! The cabin was so lovely and comfortable. We loved having drinks on the front porch and relaxing in the hot tub. We enjoyed amazing dinners at Dutch’s and Firewater. Michelle was a great host- very responsive and made sure we were having the best time. We hope to make it back to Nirvana in the future!

During our stay there was some kind of water issue in the area and we didn’t have any water in the house. I had to go out a buy gallons of water from Walmart. I was there with 3 kids ages 6, 7, and 9 and it was their first time staying at a cabin in the woods. There were items left by former guest. The jacuzzi cover needs to be replaced. It’s old and worn. I did receive a partial refund and was advised I could find another place to stay but I was unable to do that at such short notice. After driving almost 4 hours to get there I was tired. I felt helpless and hated the fact that the water was out. This was outside of the owners control but it still sucked. Luckily we only were there for 2 nights. I found plenty of activities for the kids to in the area. Unfortunately I was unable to get the fire pit to work but we used the oven to make s’mores. I would also read the notes left by former guest in the book inside of the home. It’s very helpful.
