Had to wear socks, flip flops, or tennis shoes inside the entire stay. The floors were unacceptably dandy, in additions to normal dort that left the soles of our feet black within just a few steps taken barefoot.
Some specks of sand in the room would've been totally understandable (it is a beach condo, after all), but our floor was well above an acceptable amount of dirt. It did not appear that any vacuuming or mopped had been done prior to our arrival.
The AC remote control was not easy to figure out - maybe instructions on opening the remote case in order to actually turn on the AC mode would be useful for future guests?
Finally, the pool code provided in the check-in e-mail no longer works. Fortunately we noticed a note on the back of the room door giving is the new code. I had to explain the situation to several other condo residents who her been given an outdated code as well.
Those were all relatively minor concerns, though. My question about the AC remote was answered promptly, and the property manager checked in on our stay via text several times. The room is just a vacuuming, mopping, and adequate supplying of toilet paper (only one roll of sandpaper-like ply was provided) away from a 5-star review. Thank you!

The property itself was good. We opted for a less expensive option, so it wasn't amazing but had all the basics. Great location with walking distance to Rosemary and Alys w/ access to bike rentals.
On our third night we came back (early, luckily) to a ceiling leak directly above our bed. I noticed it because i laid down and my pillow was wet.
We reached out to the property, and it's clear you just become a support ticket, vs talking to an actual property host. Sent someone out the next day who found the leak was from another unit, out of anyone's control.
Now think of how you would want to proceed after coming back from dinner to a wet bed from the ceiling, then to later find out it was likely some kind of septic water. On your bed.
When we asked for compensation (as anyone would), the PM company offered us $50, or they would reimburse for the remainder of the stay if we wanted to leave and find somewhere new in the middle of a vacation. We found exactly one option in a worse location that would have costed much more so we opted to stay (pretty unreasonable option given by them). When I didn't like that, they "increased" their offer to a $100 voucher for their company, even more hilarious, considering 5 nights at this place runs you over $1,500 .
We didn't expect to be comp'd for the whole stay, but they were extremely unreasonable and brushed the whole thing off like it was just another day, which I found unacceptable.
I will not be using Skyrun Destin again.

This location was perfect for me and my friends. It was easily accessible to the beach and pool, and very convenient. It was very clean, but a little outdated. Overall amazing stay!

Great studio
The place was perfect location and absolutely perfect for what we needed. Great location to the pool, right above a bike rack to park our bikes, little walk or ride to the beach. The pull out couch however was terrible we worked it out, but if my children had been bigger this would have really made our trip miserable for sleeping arrangements. I would give this place five stars if they get another couch/bed.

This property is perfect for a short stay for two people. Location is great, bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Just a few simple and inexpensive touches would make this property perfect. Replace broken towel holder in the bathroom, thoroughly clean the bathroom baseboards and tile, touch up porcelain on the tub and get a new throw rug for in front of the sofa. Fast and easy fixes.

This property is perfect for a short stay for two people. Location is great, bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Just a few simple and inexpensive touches would make this property perfect. I hate to write this because I’ve never left a bad review, but I would never EVER recommend to anyone. I knew it was small, that’s fine, but it’s dirty. The walls and floors were filthy! The linens need to be replaced. The pullout is a joke!!! My kids would sink into to the top every night. We tried to use the cushions to help but that didn’t work. It needs to be replaced. Don’t bother watching TV in bed, because it’s a sleigh bed and the outdated TV sits too low to see it. Bathroom is pretty gross too. The room is very dim bc of all the lightbulbs that need to be replaced. The whole place is outdated!!! You get what you pay for? But we’ve stayed in a small studios before in Seagrove that was beautifully decorated and clean. I wouldn’t even recommend for two people. Location is the only good thing I can say.

Highly Discourage from Staying Here - Not Worth It
Very disappointed in the service provided by the property manager Edgar at the 30A residence in Seacrest Beach.
Edgar was rude in answering our questions. We asked simply if there was an ability to get more towels and toilet paper to the room since we were staying for a week. He said we should have read the paper on the door (a document that was NOT shared before booking) and also said they are not a hotel service.
That is okay if this is not a hotel service, but then why would you list on hotels.com (where we booked)?
In addition to this, the shower curtain rod was broken and was not fixed during our time there.
Additionally, and critical to my ability to work during this time, the internet rarely worked and when it did it had horribly low bandwidth.
I WILL NOT stay at a SkyRun property again and strongly discourage anyone from staying at such a property.

The amenities include a microwave, coffee pot and sink which would be nice if you were staying for several days. It’s advertised as a regular bed and pull out sofa, can sleep 4. The pull out sofa was my only problem. I would not stay here again with more than 2 people. The mattress on the pull out is in dire need of replacement. My kids aren’t picky and even complained how loud and uncomfortable it was. If you are staying as a couple I would definitely recommend this room but not for 4 people. That really is the only complaint, the location is excellent, the management company was very helpful when I couldn’t figure out the door lock. The location is unbeatable in my opinion. You have access to 2 pools, there are several restaurants and a convenience store right down stairs and you are walking distance from Rosemary Beach.

Simple studio in perfect location
Truly enjoyed my stay - simple, basic studio with everything you need for a short stay at the beach. Can't beat the location. Only issue was that the address was wrong on my confirmation - about two miles west of the property, which made checking in frustrating. I also did not care to have to confirm my booking multiple times bc I booked with less than 48 hour notice. Other than that, lovely stay and would stay again.

Our only complaint was that after arriving nearly three hours prior to check-in (4 pm), we had no access to the beach because the wristbands are kept inside the room. The security guard would not accept our confirmation email as proof of our stay either.

We really enjoyed our stay! It is a beautiful place and central to everything!

Nice and convenient
We’ve stayed here before in a different unit, and we weren’t disappointed. The location is great and convenient to food, pools, and the beach. The unit is a good size for two and adults and two small children. The only complaints we had were the WiFi was really slow, and the card readers didn’t work in the laundry room (had to use the adjacent building). Overall, we like the location and will probably continue to stay at the Villages until the kids get older and need more space.

Loved the location!
The location was great. In the middle of everything...beach access was great and the pools were lovely. The live music each night was perfect as well. I wish there would have been a pencil to sign the guestbook (which was helpful with recommendations.) Also, knowing the code for the pool would have been helpful as well as directions about wearing wristbands to pool and beach. I had no idea. All in all a great place, but the smell was a bit off. I think it is the laundry.

The property was close to dining, laundry, the pool, shopping, beach shuttle and walking beach access. It was perfect for 2 people.

The little things
We average about 6 trips a year and typically stay in Seacrest Village in a unit above Peddler's Pavilion. The location is amazing. The unit for this trip left some to be desired. There wasn't any good place to hang beach towels or damp bathing suits after a beach trip. The towels felt like they were really old and should be used in a hotel, not a family's rental at the beach and lastly the shower has some mold on it. Kinda gross and made us again feel like the unit doesn't get looked after. Looking back we agreed that units where a management company runs the operations are never as nice as a family run property.
