Enjoyed our third stay at this property. Suggest that this time of year that house keeping run a vacuum to clean up dead lady bugs before arrival. Also advise renters that the cabin has cameras but that they are only outside. Seeing Blink hub under the tv made me wonder.

We loved the location, the cabin was beautiful and cozy. Everything we needed was right there. It was cold, when we was there, but would love to come back in summer time.

The Bear Claw cabin was as advertised. It was clean, homey, and the host provided all necessities for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our visits to nearby Helen, Blairsville, Anna Ruby Falls, and Brasstown Bald (the view at the top is worth the hike!).

The cabin was well kept. The area was very quiet and enjoyed the mountain creek.
2nd time in this area and will definitely come back. Will stay in this same cabin!

Cabin was the same as it was 9 years ago except big showner no tub. Quiet location. No frills just the basic rental equiped with what you might need . Quick instructions on using remote for either DISH or Prime would have been helpful. Bathroom door that goes to bedroom doesn't stay closed properly.

Perfect location for us. The cabin is much bigger on the inside than what we were expecting. Had everything that we needed for our stay except food. We enjoyed the open space outside and look forward to visiting again possibly this year.

Cabin is very well maintained, Kitchen is well stocked for any cooking needs. Bathroom was very nice especially the shower, Very comfortable place to stay that looks a lot bigger when you walk in.
Location was very convenient to surrounding towns, Hiawassee, Helen, Dahlonega, Cleveland and Blairsville.

Well built little cabin. It is in need of a really deep cleaning - all ceiling light globes had many dead bugs in them. The bath vanity sink had a leaky faucet. The bed "squeaks" every time you get in or out of the bed. The sheets are not deep enough to stay on the mattress so you need to remake bed every morning. The shower is great. Could use more lighting in the kitchen. Outside has several bug catcher containers that are almost full. Cobwebs and bird droppings on porch railings. It was nice to walk to the water every day. Biggest negative for me was that I was sick most of the week so we did not get to enjoy the area as planned.

I booked this trip for my husband’s 32nd birthday. We enjoy our rare mountain trips, but this stay was by far the best! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Bear Claw Cabin. It was perfect for just the two of us. It was immaculately clean and had every furnishing that we might need. The large, walk-in shower was definitely a plus! Our hosts were kind & friendly during correspondences; they made our stay comfortable. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

I've stayed at this cabin a few times before and it's such a peaceful getaway. So quiet in that area and the cabin is so well taken care of. The wooden bed is beautiful and everything was very clean. The back deck looks out into a field of tall grass that lights up with lightening bugs in the summer. The creek is just a short walk away and you can usually here it from the deck. I'll be back for sure.

The cabin was cute and cozy and good for a quick weekend get away. The porch swing was great and the property was quiet so that was really nice. Another positive is that even though we had rain one of the days there wasn’t any issues with the internet or the TV signal despite the inclement weather warning on the listing.
A couple downsides were that the listing made it sound like you can view the river from the house. You can absolutely hear it, but the house is in a group of 6-7 other houses so it doesn’t have direct line of sight, but you can access the river by walking past the other houses.
The dishwasher also had a leak when we got there and there was an odor where the cleaning supplies were stored in the bedroom closet. Hence, 4 out of 5 stars.
Overall a good experience and I would recommend it for a long weekend retreat for a couple

This was our 2nd time at the cabin. Nice job re-doing the shower. We love the mountains in N. Georgia. Blairsville is a nice place. It's a awesome getaway.
Meeks Park, Smokin' Jim's, Grandaddy Mimm's, plus all the quiet you can handle.
I'm sure we'll be back again.

I once owned a cabin in the mountains of Idaho. I miss going to it to remove myself from reality stresses. This cabin helped me do such a thing while now living in Tennessee. The simplicity and coziness has re-energized me.

I did not have contact with the property manager until the day before we were to leave. This made me worry that we were not signed in to visit. I did message the property manager and got a response. Check-in after that was easy. When we arrived, it was a windy day, so an open fire in the fire ring was not safe. We were able to gather enough wood for a fire and planned it for the next day. The cabin's fire ring is next to an open field of tall dry grasses. I was disappointed that the river area was not visible from our cabin. We did visit the riverbank, but did not have any chairs to rest there. The cabin itself could use a good cleaning. I pulled up the rugs in the bathroom to prevent them from getting wet with the shower, and was disgusted at the filth I encountered!

Loved the cabin and the property. Only complaint was the plug in air freshener. I have asthma/allergies and the smell bothered me. We just unplugged it while we were there. Enjoyed our trip and would definitely stay there again.

The property is located in a quiet cul-de-sac by a beautiful river in the north Georgia mountains. It is quiet and peaceful. Perfect for our honeymoon! The house is immaculately clean with the amenities you would need (except food). The area is not overrun by wildlife so it was nice to take a peaceful to walk in the evenings. The back porch has 2 rocking chairs and a swing - just right for your morning coffee or tea.
Communication with the owner was right on target. We highly recommend this cabin for a nice quiet peaceful retreat.

We had good time staying in the cabine for a week. The cabine is great, very well equipped and has everything you need for a long vacation. The only issue was not clean refrigerator when we arrived, so we had to clean it ourselves. Not a big deal, but it’s the reason for a four star rating.
