The house and location was better than expectations. We had a family union with 4 families and we all loved it. Wish we could have been there for a few more days.

Everyone, ages 10 to 72 yrs old, had comfortable spaces to have time to themselves and gather together. Great place!

We had a great trip to Donner lake. This house is so much bigger and nicer than the pictures make seem. Beautiful property and location

Donner lake was a midpoint for family members coming from California, Paris, and Utah. We had another house rented for the younger portions of our family, which was just down Judah. We could visit each other, play, hot tub, and chat.
We found everything we needed. We even saw a bear above the house scratching around. Perfect place, love the fireplace, pool table, and three places to gather and catch up.

Overall this place is great! Very close to Donner Lake.. the firepit was great. The pool table and ping pong was what everyone needed. Very roomy.. we had 3 families and everyone had a room.

The house had plenty of space for 8 of us and there could have been easily 4 more. Having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus for us and the pool/ping pong table was great fun for the kids.
The kitchen was well stocked and the fire pit was a big plus.
It is an older property and has some maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
The property manager was responsive and our getaway was very pleasant !!!

So much space for our family. Five bedrooms, large dining table, pool table, ping pong, and board games to play. Wonderful fire pit and patio area!! Perfect communication with the owner. Hope we can get our group here next year!!

Lots of room, large dining table for family meals all together. 5 bedrooms was perfect for all adults and the kids. 12,10 and 4 played hours of pool and ping pong . We had lots of rain so the fireplace was a godsend. Donner lake is gorgeous and less crowded then Tahoe. We all had a great time. Sitting on the outdoor deck watching thunderstorms was excellent.

We had 11 adult family members together for our 50th anniversary. The house worked out great and there were plenty of things to do in the Truckee/Tahoe area.

Had a great stay at this house. Host communication was outstanding. Great location near several ski resorts, and convenient to Truckee, i80, and Donner Lake. The house itself is great. Clean, spacious, well laid out. Great, well stocked kitchen! We had four adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space. Could have fit more.

We come back and stay at least twice a year, and we love it! Perfect yard to sled in and play in the snow without having to worry about your kids being too close to a street. With 5 bedrooms and a loft there’s plenty of room for everyone! Kitchen is well stocked and set up well for cooking/serving everyone in your party. Owner is responsive and easy to deal with. We’ll be back!

The house had plenty of room for our group of 8 adults and two kids. We went during a winter storm with lots of fresh snow. Curtis was very responsive to our messages and patient with our worries about the weather. The kids had a ton of fun in the powder. We lost power almost every night but it was back up pretty quick.

This home is a wonderful gathering place for you, your friends and family. From a pool tournament in the family room to roasting marshmallows around the fire pit to grilling steaks from Raley’s on the Weber grill it doesn’t get any better than this.

Our family has stayed here a couple times here and plan on coming back. It is a beautiful home with 5 bedrooms, a long dinning table to fit the entire family. Close to the beach and has a fire pit and sand box for the little kids. I would recommend this home to all my friends and family.

We were looking for a last minute place to get away for the weekend and Curtis's place fit the bill. There were only 6 of us but the place could clearly accommodate a bigger group. We mostly stayed at home to relax but there was plenty to do inside the home and in the yard area for the kids. They loved the little treehouse. It's clear this is a well loved home that has hosted many memories and we were happy to create some of our own here. Curtis is also very responsive to any inquiries though we didn't really have any issues. I'm sure he would have helped if we did though.

This was really comfortable for three families with plenty of space to play, a well set up kitchen, and outdoor spaces we enjoyed too. Tree house play zone was much enjoyed as well.

Room to spread out
6 adults and 4 children (ages 1 to 9) had more than enough room to gather for meals and games, but also to get some quiet time in one of the 5 bedrooms.
Excellent grounds. The kiddos loved the sand pit and the club house especially.

Best family place!
We love coming to this cabin with our family for snow play or water play in the summer. Plenty of room for everyone, the granddaughters loved the Playhouse. Lots of room to spread out for reading or playing pool and the wonderful large table is perfect for family everything. Great communication with the host. We are so grateful to be able to come.

Happy repeat customers!
We stay at this cabin at least once a year during the winter, and we couldn’t be more happy! Sledding is easy right outside your door, and the kids spend hours sledding and playing in the snow. Cabin is plenty big to sleep several families, and the kitchen has plenty of room to cook meals and is well stocked. The owner is easy to contact and quick to reply. Check in and out is a breeze. We’ll be back again!

Great house
Great house in a quiet, convenient location. The house was well stocked. Got 6" of snow during the first few days of our stay. Kids loved playing outside on the sled course.

We enjoyed the house, but the stairs are scary to walk down and very slippery in socks. We found 3 very large spiders in 3 rooms of the house. We needed to do some laundry and there was no laundry soap so we bought our own. The driveway was hard to find in the dark and scary in the snow. Would be awesome in the warmer months. Very close to Donner Lake. Easy access to the the freeway.

Perfect house for large group
The house was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. We had 2 dogs and the flooring on the first floor was all stone. We will definitely use this place again and recommend it wholeheartedly.

We had a nice time
.Plenty of room for all 8 of us. Everyone loved playing ping pong. Views of trees out every window. Even a peak of the lake. Great location too. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Thanks Curtis

Great Family Rental!
This is our second time at the property and the home is so comfortable and flexible for a family. We stayed last summer and were anxious to try a winter experience and weren’t disappointed. It was very easy to communicate with Cutis if there are any questions. We like to bring our dogs & the house is perfect for a large family! We played ping-pong and pool and made a ling sled run around the cabin. What fun!! The kitchen is well equipped & the long table is great for meals and games. Thanks for letting us stay!!
