We had a great time at this property. It was very clean, spacious, and had plenty of closet space. The outdoor shower is great. I couldn't find a hair dryer, so bring one with you. It's a really short walk to the bay beach and playground. The walk to the ocean isn't bad - a few blocks - we did it multiple times with an 8 and 4 year old. For lunch we would leave our stuff on the beach and go to Speakeasy Pizza which is right there at the 14th street entrance. The pizza is really good and you can show up in your bathing suit. For a nice dinner try Russo's - the food is fantastic. You might wait a little bit but it's worth it. Shore Good Donuts is always good. I couldn't find a good ice cream place that was walking distance. We have stayed in Beach Haven a few times and I was skeptical about Ship Bottom, but I think I enjoyed it more. There's less to do (in terms of arcades, shopping, etc), so if that's your thing you are probably better off in Beach Haven. But if you like being at the beach (bay or ocean) and you like good food, Ship Bottom is perfect.

I started loving it before we even got there. Adinda was so friendly and accommodating, and made everything so easy. Once there, we loved the place. We wish we would have booked two weeks. That house will be our regular HOME every time we return to New Jersey from California.

Very convenient location on the island and closest to the bay. Description was accurate and ower was quick to answer our questions. Overall, our family had a great experience. Would rent again.
