Not only does this condo have the perfect view, right on the ocean, but it also has everything you could need for your stay on the Big Island. We were there for a family wedding (two couples stayed in the condo) and hosted a few family meals and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed! Extra plates, serving dishes, spices, you name it. Not to mention all the beach toys needed for a day out. The pools are a short walk from the condo. But we all agreed the view and hearing the ocean crashing as you’re falling asleep was amazing. The owners were easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend staying in this condo. We had stayed at the Kanaloa condos before but not this condo, and this was beyond great!

We had a fantastic stay at this waterside condo. The sound of the waves crashing was very pleasant. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to do some cooking or keep some leftovers. The patio was the perfect place to watch the sunset every evening. We would 100% come back to this place in the future. Probably our favourite vacation rental to date. Communication was easy and quick.

Our family of 4 adults stayed over the Christmas holiday. The location and condo could not have been better. The condo has everything you could ask for. Lots of kitchen supplies, left overs containers and items typically missing from most places we have stayed. The location cannot be beat. We were even able to see whales from the lanai.

My husband, daughter and I came for Thanksgiving- something we had never done before. It was the best one ever. The complex, the beauty of the condo, the sounds of the waves gently putting you to sleep where wonderful. The proximity to everything was very convenient. We will be back, for sure.

Beautiful oceanfront and everything we had hoped for! Having 2 king beds was great as our group was 2 adult couples. The condo was decorated to perfection in Hawaiian style. Large lanai was ideal for watching sunsets. Having an ocean front pool just steps away was a huge plus. The condo grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Overall, a solid 10! Can't wait to go back!

Location was outstanding!! This property is great for the person looking to be explore the island or the person looking at staying on the property your entire vacation. The views of this unit are breathtaking. Sitting on the lanai listening to the oceans waves crash on the rocks, watching amazing sunsets and if you are as lucky as we were seeing dolphins swim by in the distance.

We love everything about Kanaloa at Kona…especially Suzanne’s condo! This was our 3rd visit to this area. Very quiet and relaxing stay at this time of year. The condo was tops and the staff really excel at keeping the resort beautiful. Wonderful KTA grocery store just up the hill. Great restaurants and sights just short drive away as well. We hope to return next year.

Awesome property, right on the water! The pool is just steps away. Even better, you can watch the sunset from your lanai while the water crashes on the rocks right below! This is NOT a rental property, but a home that has everything you would need for your vacation: snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella, ice chests, beach wagons, and even reusable bags. Full kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals and even the ability to store leftovers. Location is great: shopping center near by; near Keauhou Bay (check out Dolphin Discoveries for snorkeling fun); and Magic Sands Beach is close. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

This property is amazing! A beautiful 180 degree view of the ocean with waves crashing right below you. We loved mornings on the lanai and listening to the waves all night long. Beautiful sunsets!
The unit had everything we needed including snorkels, masks, fins, beach chairs and mats and a cooler. Kitchen was extremely well stocked and had all we needed, including spices, etc.
A/C worked great and was a welcome reprieve from the heat/humidity. One of the pools is close to the unit and the overall property was quiet and well-maintained.
We have stayed in numerous VRBO's over the years and we agreed this unit is our favorite! Thanks for sharing it, we can't wait to return.

This condo had the best location in the Kanaloa complex. Very quiet and private. It was perfect for 2 adult couples. The owner was great and resolved a minor issue immediately. Our party would love to return someday!

We have stayed in this complex twice. The location is fantastic. It is right on the ocean and has ocean views in two directions.
The unit is comfortable and well equipped.

The property was amazing, it had all we needed and more. Our check in process was stressful but I believe the owner now has the correct updated information listed, please check to you have the check in information prior to landing :)

This condo is beautiful and very well maintained. 3 pools, tennis and pickle ball courts, BBQ’s, and security. We saw dolphins and a whale from the lanai. We also visited the Konasalt factory, vanilla farm( my personal favorite) , volcano national park,Panalu’u bakery and so much more!

My family enjoyed going to sleep to the sound of waves crashing. The location of this condo was very easy to access other areas on the island. We found it very suitable to our needs. Carol was quick to respond to any questions or communication from our family. We had a lovely trip. Staying here made it that much nicer. 🌸

2 couples celebrating 45 and 55 years of marriage. Could not have experienced a greater time. Beautiful location and lovely unit on the ocean. Every day was a joy. Carol was super. We had an issue with the AC and it was resolved immediately. Our friends had never been to the Big Island, only Oahu. They loved the visit and will return. Mahalo.

We delighted in our stay at this incredibly beautiful Condo. The views were amazing!!! We loved watching the waves and the sunset - either inside from nearly any window - or outside on the Lanai each night we were here!! The unit itself has everything you need to make delicious meals at home - including cookbooks detailing recipes from famous Hawaiian island dining spots, and chefs! The beds were very comfortable, and the central AC and ceiling fans were quiet and cool for the days and nights we needed it. On cooler days, we opened up the windows and welcomed in the gentle Hawaiian breeze bringing inside the delightful smells of the ocean and the native flowers that surround the property. Everything worked well. The water pressure for the sinks and the shower were plentiful. There is a designated covered parking spot for the unit close by, and
most all of the supplies you need for a wonderful day at the beach in the front closet and the closet on the Lanai. The condo was the perfect location for exploring the island and visiting our favorite snorkeling spots. Good communication with the owner made our vacation time here stress free. We stayed at the condo for 5 days. This was our fourth stay at this complex starting 25 years ago. This unit is about 10 ft from the crashing waves so quite spectacular. The unit is just as shown in the photos. It is very clean, well equipped for any activity, cooking, etc. the beds and linens are super comfy. Best of all, Carol was very easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly.

We do come from northern Minnesota were the temp was -25 below before we left. We are early risers and outside all day. Owner had listed in book to contact maintenance along with her if we had a problem. Four messages over four days before maintenance company returned my call. Owner final returned my email. She blamed worker shortage and Covid. Looking at a review from a guest that stayed before us they said they had problem with air-condition also. Some of the owner response include things like I would like to use my maintenance company that usual fixing my AC not the property maintenance but I can't get a hold of him. She said if we wanted to stay elsewhere we could. She also emailed me and said help me understand your attachment to the AC. The temp in the condo would reach 83 in the afternoon which is hard to sleep. She also mad mention that we should stay somewhere else that would not be as warm next year. Don't forget about the cockroaches and people walking around upstairs making all sorts of noise all night. Owner must have all sorts of money as our didn't matter. She will never have to count our money again!

But who needs a TV when the ocean and sunset view is in every window. The unit is also very close to the swimming pool area, which also provides amazing ocean views. The condo was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and the unit came with helpful supplies like beach chairs and an umbrella. It's a short drive to a grocery store and to beach parks. Our only problem was that the air-conditioning was not working (our host informed us of this shortly before our arrival), but with the ceiling fans and cooperative weather, it was not a problem for us. The condo furnishings and decor could stand some updating, as compared with other condos where we have stayed, but the pictures in the listing were accurate, the furniture was in good shape, and we enjoyed our stay.
