Great location, lovely spacious room, comfy bed, great garden and really kind chatty host! He tries really hard with his English and he made us so welcome. Breakfast is huge and delicious! Staff are all so friendly. And they arranged a Tuk Tuk and taxi when we needed. Great stay in Tangalle!

Eine sehr gut geführte Unterkunft mit sehr zuvorkommend Mitarbeiterrn & Chef.
Alles sehr gepflegt und ein sehr reichhaltiges köstliche Frühstück.
Am Abfahrtstag saß ich schon im Bus an dem Busbahnhof von Tangalle und wartete auf die Abfahrt. Plötzlich kam der Eigentümer in den Bus und brachte mir mein Ladekabel, dass ich im Zimmer vergessen hatte. Dem ist wohl nichts hinzuzufügen. Ich bin ihm so dankbar über soviel Hilfsbereitschaft !
Für alle die an guter ayuvedischer Behandlung mit gut ausgebildeten Therapeuzen ( Ärzte) interessiert sind, direkt nebenan,, bekommt man sehr gute Behandlungen, je nach Wunsch. Obwohl ich nur 3 Nächte in Luaya Beach gewohnt habe, hatte in 2x Behandlungen . Morgens um 8 Uhr wird dort auch Yoga angeboten.
Ich würde immer gerne wiederkommen, falls ich nochmal nach SriLanka reise.
Ich hatte die Info über Bekannte, dass Luaya Beach direkt am Strand liegt, daher war ich im ersten Moment etwas enttäuscht.
Aber es war nur 1 Minute Fußweg zum Strand , nachts war es sehr ruhig zum Schlafen..

Mooie en schone kamer. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig. Locatie is geweldig, dichtbij het strand. Eigenaar erg vriendelijk en wilde zelfs wat kleren voor ons wassen. Ontbijt was erg uitgebreid en lekker. Beste wat we op onze vakantie hebben gehad.

We received such a warm welcome from Supun, our host. He is very attentive and caring, always smiling and made sure we were happy during our stay. All the staff were also amazing, they surprised us with little actions that made all the difference Their breakfast is delicious, they have a pretty little garden in the back and a common area in the front for relaxing. The room is exceptional. Spacious and well lit. Bed is comfortable, washroom clean, towels available. Ac and fan work great too

Absolutely lovely staff, large room and a big comfortable bed! The accommodation is in a great location too
Unfortunately we could smell the drains in the bathroom. I'm sure this could be improved with clearing the drains or some air freshener but I understand this is a hard problem to solve.

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich toll. Unser Gastgeber hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert und uns auch zu jederzeit ein Tuktuk organisiert. Fußläufig ist man direkt am Strand mit vielen schönen Restaurants und Bars. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Frühstück!

Very clean , comfortable, slept well, fabulous shower with hot water. Fridge and kettle in the room which is a must for us . Location great 😊
Would have liked our own private terrace. Says terrace on booking. But you have to go down an alley to the communal area. Not a big issue. But if we were staying longer, we like to have our own private space outside

Super friendly host who does an amazing, very diverse breakfast! We had fruits that we never had in our lives before :) The accommodation is clean and had everything we needed! Our stay in Tangalle was perfect :)

Die wahrscheinlich beste Unterkunft auf Sri Lanka! Alle Kleinigkeiten stimmen. Sauberster Ort an dem wir waren und schöne Zimmer. Sehr leckeres Frühstück (wählbar), liebevoll eingerichtet und top Servicekräfte! Weiter so!

Mieszkaliśmy trzy dobry w Luaya Beach i byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu ! Właściciel jak i personel bardzo przemili ,sympatyczni ,troskliwi. Śniadania sri lanka pyszne ,obfite ! Po wielu neckegach w różnych miejscach na sri lance trafiliśmy w końcu na ciepła wodę w prysznicu , bardzo wygodny materac w łóżku jak i poduszkę !! To bardzo ważne ! . Pokój czysty. Lokalizacja bardzo wygodna. Dziękujemy Marcin & D.

De los mejores alojamientos en los que nos hemos quedado en Sri Lanka. Increíble el cariño que ponen los chicos en el alojamiento, han sido súper atentos con nosotros. No avisamos de que queríamos desayuno y nos lo prepararon enseguida, nos recomendaron sitios y nos recibieron con un coco fresquito. Sin duda alguna le recomiendo a todo el mundo que visite Tangalle este alojamiento maravilloso del que quedamos enamorados.

This was one of the best accommodations where we stayed in Sri Lanka. It is immediately seen that host is taking good care of his property, his rooms and his guests, which can be a rare thing on Sri Lanka. If you need any advice, he will be there to help you. Location is very peaceful, you can also chill on bean bags. You need to walk only one or two minutes to reach a nice beach and on another side there are many restaurants, also in walking distance. If you are looking for a good place to stay in Tangalle, this is the place to be.

really nice place with clean and well equipped room (mini fridge, mosquito net, anti musquito plug). Nice outside-chill area. Nice hosts, we even received a cocount as Welcome drink.

The staff at Luaya Beach is great! They were extraordinary helpful, e.g., organizing tuktuk drives or doing laundry on request. The breakfast was large and really tasty, could be picked from Sri Lankan or British or a combination of both, and we took it in the lovely front garden area. This accommodation is located close to the beach and bus station, too, so that we could reach e.g. restaurant for dinner in walking distance.
Given these reasons and the reasonable price, we even extended our stay there.
We highly recommend staying at Luaya Beach!

We were absolutely in love with Luaya Beach. We had a double room and it was the most comfiest bed we had in all Sri Lanka. There even was a mini fridge with drinks in our room and the staff and the breakfast were absolutely amazing. I’m not one to get excited about stuff but the food was so tasty, various dishes, way too much for us but we ate it anyways :D location is also great, a skip and a jump to the beach as well as nice restaurants down the road. This is the first time I really write a comment because it was that great :D

Our room was clean, had AC, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Also, for $5 we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast.

Owner is a really nice, enjoyable and helpfull person. Despite he has to other workers, he constantly checks if everything is ok.
Room was nice and clean. At check-in we were served coconut water. Breakfasts are good and you can pick from many different options - remember to talk with a staff day earlier.

The best guesthouse that I stayed in during my two week trip in Sri Lanka. Well-equipped room, clean and modern bathroom and friendly staff. Excellent wifi and huge Sri Lankan breakfast. The only place in which I could sleep without earplugs (I'm a light sleeper). Very close to a beach.
Hard to find anything negative to say but sometimes we noticed a slight smell from the sewer. Also, a floor sqeegee would be nice so that you could dry the bathroom floor after a shower, but overall they seemed very rare find.

the property offers great value for money. room is very nice, with comfortable bed and good shower with immediate hot water. room was clean too. the staff is great and they help you with everything you need. make sure to try the breakfast as it was outstanding! location is good if you want to move around with a scooter or tuk tuk: close to the town and in between tangalle beach and all the little bats where you can swim. will definitely be happy to come back.
