Cottage has character
Furnishings could do with an update.
Getting the car in and out of the driveway could be made easier - expand the entrance, driveway level off

Location was excellent
No instructions on how to use the facilities.

Location is good, close to the trails and the city center. Lovely old house, really cute.
The street is narrow and steep. Toilet is too small and discomfort due to the smell of the carpet.

Great location with lovely views to front and back. Only a few minutes walk into Ambleside with a welcoming pub The Golden Rule minutes away.
The cottage is in need of a little tlc - the mattress in the main bedroom is very uncomfortable, the kitchen cutlery needs an overhaul and the information provided about the local area was woeful with brochures out of date (one of the magazines was from 2009) and the cottage info referred to Sky TV which wasn't available. Not sure I'd want to be there in cold weather with no double glazing and a badly fitting front door.
