Great location, on the main street of the Tahoe City. You could walk to many restaurants and cafes in Tahoe City. Tesla charger is just a couple of mins away. Rooms are nicely done with a personal touch of mother nature theme. Checkin is seamless with a digital lock and unique code created for the booking.
Rooms are a bit small and behind a shop on the main street. There is no front desk and when we visited, the shop was closed. Thankfully, we were able to call the owner and they were super responsive! (side note- if you are booking this place to ski at the Palisades Tahoe resort, leave early because there is a slow moving traffic from Tahoe City)

Adorable and pet friendly, great location across the lake and quick drive to Alpine.
You could hear the neighbors talking and there wasn’t anyone to communicate with in real time.

Good Location
Sensitive plumbing and no service when the plumbing did not work. They asked us to fix the clogged toilet

a bed that i can sleep after traveling on Amtrak for long hours.
The bed cover sheet (gray side) on the bathroom side has a brown stain!!!!😱.
This is a self checkin accommodation like an airbnb type no person to ask and get immediate answers, not what i would prefer for a short stay. if at least theres an attendant or be attentive to messages at checkin hours that would be great. Not really a good value and would not choose to book had i known.

The beds were soft and the water got hot quickly.
The location in a parking lot and entry to the property was not inviting. The room has random furniture everywhere and the decorations on the walls were kitschy. The shower was the size of an RV shower in a corner. There were not enough towels for a few showers. The lighting was dark and lighting fixtures were old. Leftover food from a restaurant was left in the fridge when we arrived. There was a torn up pillow with foam on the floor. Also there was massive road construction that apparently has been going on for a while in front of the hotel. The asphalt smell was awful and trucks were loud 24/7 , all night long . I would have like to have been informed that there is long term ongoing construction that goes on all night on the booking information .

The location is great with walking distance to restaurants and bars. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. There was a coffee machine and mini fridge in the room with a microwave in the hallway. The heater kept us comfortable and warm. The towels are like what you have at home (not the most beautiful nor fluffy but they will do). We felt the room was quaint and felt like a mini version of an air bnb cabin. A great value for anyone that has pets(or not).
The parking situation is stressful. There are 10 rooms but 7 parking spots available. Accumulated snow took up at least one spot and no one is allowed to park on the street between 2am-6am. We were fortunate to have a neighbor move their vehicle so we could squeeze in. One of the other situations to be aware of is not the fault of Mother Nature but the unmindful guest you may have to deal with. There was also a neighbor that noisily arrived late at night with a dog that barked for at least an hour. Most neighbors with pets were quiet through our stay but that one neighbor was annoying.

The owner was really nice and our new owners of the property. They worked to help us with our concerns and I am thankful for them.
I did not like how much we paid for what we got. I could of stayed in a 5 star for the amount we paid. Too much to tell, but again, if you are staying for a day-maybe two days- I think this property would be just fine. Two days is a stretch.

location was excellent
rooms too close to one another. Heard guests coming and going through front door and in adjacent rooms.

Great location.
There is no sound proof at all, you can hear neighbors even if they try to be quiet, the door that leads to the hall creaked every time when opened and so loud that it was nearly impossible to sleep in the morning. We've booked the room for 3, but got only 2 sets of bath towels. No microwave inside the room. Small parking lot, if you miss the spot you have to park your car somewhere on the street.

The room is clean and the decorations are cute. Pet friendly. There is a dog park behind the Inn. The heater works very well. Easy parking and they provided tools for cleaning snow on the car!
