Loved our stay. Condo was spacious, clean and quiet. View also spectacular and close to the beach. Also appreciated the bottle of wine that was waiting for us on the counter. Only minor complaint was having some difficulties lighting the barbecue. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this condo. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here. The property is well outfitted with almost everything you could need. All furnishings are comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen is well equipped. The master bed is a comfortable king with decent pillows. It has a nice ocean view and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. There are several decent eating options with in walking distance. It was a great week. Thanks very much.

This town home more than met our expectations. It is well stocked and equipped with quality appliances and household items. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious outdoor deck which features a nice view of the Strait The resort's proximity to Rathtrevor Park makes this property a winner and we look forward to a return visit!

If Parksville is your destination make sure you book this home. Located in the Tanglewood development you will enjoy the famous Rathtrevor Beach and Provincial Park next door. This home is steps from the beach and has a great ocean view. Book early or you will miss out!

The property was beautiful and very well stocked. It is the perfect distance to the beach with kids and great views. This is our fourth year coming to Parksville in the summer and we will be back again. Shelley was great with communication and answering all my questions. Thank you for a great vacation!

Close to everything, we're very familiar with the area (for years) - this is one of if not the best locations and accommodations for us and probably you too...we'll be back...what else could you say?!

Our month long December stay was incredibly restful. Quiet, even through the busier Xmas week. The bedroom was dark and quiet, so peaceful. Rathtrevor was delightful, despite the cold and nearly two weeks of snow. A huge appreciation to one of the neighbours who shoveled and put snow melt out at least daily!! Loved the gas fireplace and spa-like bathroom. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Such a fabulous facility and individual condo unit with great access to all amenities
This is a great property with great access to the local beaches and surrounding properties, downtown Parksville is only minutes away, we found many activities to keep us busy for our time on vacation. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect location
Stayed at this lovely spot for 4 nights. Everything about this townhouse was perfect. Spacious, clean, well stocked, nice size deck with an amazing view and nattural gas bbq. A short walk and you're at a great beach area where you can play in the sand or go for a relaxing stroll.
Shelley was great to deal with. Can't wait until we can return.

Awesome stay
We had an amazing stay. The unit is terrific. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed walking the trails through the Provincial Park next door, and walking for hours out on the beach during low tide. Waking up every morning and watching the sun rise while lying in bed is something we will never forget.

Getting to BC during covid was a challenge from the US and the owner was very patient and answered tons of questions and was very flexible.

We had an amazing time staying here! One: because the property is fantastic and Two: the hosts are wonderful.
My husband and I were in town for 2.5 months while we oversaw the care of an injured elderly relative. We needed a space that could be our home base; somewhere where we could relax and feel comfortable but would also allow us to work from home when needed. The host Shelley was great at replying to any questions quickly and thoroughly, and made us feel welcome before we'd even arrived. We reached out to her a few times throughout the stay as well, and always received a prompt, helpful, and friendly response.
Once we got to the condo it was exactly as described. We felt at home immediately. It is beautifully laid out and Shelley wasn't kidding when she said the kitchen has everything you need. My favourite part was being able to lie in bed while watching the sun rise over the ocean. Having Rathtrevor Provincial Park as a next door neighbour was pretty incredible too. You can literally touch the trees in the park from the balcony!
The layout and high ceilings make everything feel open and communal without feeling like you're crawling on top of each other. Every day we were able, we made sure to walk along the beach or take one of the paths in the woods. One of our original concerns was space for computers, since we both were working while visiting, but they have Wifi as well as ample table and desk space to work on!
Honestly, I don't think we could've asked for a better place to stay and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Beauty and the Beach
I would be hard pressed to find anything negative to say about this wonderful property! This was our first trip to Parksville, and I certainly hope it won’t be the last, as I hope to return to this beautiful condo! The views and location are unbeatable, and the home itself is amazingly well equipped and unbelievably comfortable. I felt at home the minute we walked in the door! Shelly was wonderful to deal with and extremely helpful. There is a welcoming pickleball community here, which we loved, and to be a minute away from the beach is priceless. Fingers crossed we shall return!!

Fantastic Spot
Great property with a spectacular view watching the sun come up in the morning and the moon at night. No shortage of things to do as well. Long walks on the beach where the tide goes out forever, pickleball and the boardwalk in town. We especially enjoyed the cycling in the nearby area. We’ll be back.

We have loved staying at this place over many years. Shelley is wonderful to deal with. It's a 3 minute walk to the beach. You have ocean views from this unit. Comfortable beds. Well stocked with games for the family. It is a large space with vaulted ceilings and ocean views. The deck is large with a gas bbq to cook on. It was very tidy upon our arrival along with a bottle of wine from the host to welcome us. I would highly recommend a stay at this unit.

Loved the location and view from the condo. Morning coffees on the deck were perfect. The pool at the adjoining resort was perfect my kids and we beachcombed for hours. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, quiet, private, well equipped, stunning view, and beautiful grounds. As long as you are reasonably mobile, this is as good as they get. Large deck with great furniture and the biggest BBQ I have ever used. Totally recommend everything about this place and location. The owner is a gem too. :-)

Labour Day Delight
Hunt for shells in the morning at low tide and take a dip in the waves in the late afternoon when the tide comes in. In the evening, sit out on the deck under the stars to enjoy the fabulous view and peaceful serenity, with only the occasional cry of a heron to interrupt the silence. This beautiful home is in a great location, fully equipped with everything you could possibly want...all just steps from the beach! Shelley was a treasure to work with and offered up some great ideas for us. Thanks for having us...we certainly hope to be back next year!

Great Location, Gorgeous View and Awesome Townhouse
We had a lovely time. Shelley was very responsive and excellent to deal with (even during our stay). We were lucky to call this home for a week! We will most definitely book again - the townhouse was just as pictured -- clean, well-equipped and well-maintained with quality appliances and cooking equipment. One of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed at. Location is great - a short walk down a paved (hill) walkway and you are right on the beach. It was awesome to be able to check the low/high tide status by looking right outside your window. Includes a great patio with a gorgeous view. Quality townhouse and beautiful location. Would definitely recommend to others. We will be back!

Beautiful view
We have stayed at this location in Tanglewood at Parksville 4 or 5 times.
We love the location and especially like the deck where we can have wonderful dinners with the most beautiful view of beach and water and mountains!
The unit is lovely, with many amenities and always kept up to date and well stocked and very clean .
A real treat to come back to year after year.

Terrific place to stay
Such a great condo, lots of space for a young family. Fully stocked with kitchen gadgets, everything you might need to cook up a great meal. Sharp knives!!!!!!!

Absolutely Perfect
Our experiences with both Shelley and her vacation rental were terrific! As an owner, Shelley was very easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and helpful. The rental unit was the perfect size for our family: two adults, and two young boys. (Although, there would be room for more - play pen in the closet, pull out couch in the living room, etc.) Big bathrooms and a soaker tub (the best part, according to my 5 year old) made it easy to run the regular bedtime routine for my kids. I was impressed with how child friendly the unit was, while still being beautifully decorated and kept. The photos on VRBO impressed us, but when we arrived we were shocked to see that it was even more attractive than we imagined! The view was gorgeous. The open concept, high ceilings, and tall windows made it feel breezy and big. All 'needs' were met - WIFI worked, TV, Music, etc. Even kids' beach toys and beach chairs were ready to go. The central location of this rental made it quick to run to the store (30 minutes, round trip, including your quick shop), and still feel like you were 'away from it all.' There was a HUGE BBQ on the deck, with lots of space to entertain some friends. It was a very quick walk down to the beautiful beach, where we used the Tanglewood fire pits on the last night (there were three available). *Keep in mind that fire restrictions may prevent the use of these pits.
We cannot recommend this rental highly enough to anyone looking for a vacation in one of the prettiest spots here on Vancouver Island. (In fact, it would be a good alternative to the rentals on Mt. Washington for some winter accommodation, if it's available, for anyone who wants to ski but is not keen to stay up at the mountain! Might be worth the 1hr trip up and down before and after the ski day up there.)

Great Location!
Excellent location with close proximity to the beach and Rathtrevor Park. Beach is good for walking as it is shallow and the tide goes out a long way at low tide. Serious Coffee and General Store are within walking distance. The Black Goose pub is a two minute walk and they have a unique building very much like an old British pub. Condo was clean and very well equipped. The front deck is large and provides a view of the ocean as the condo is on the third (top) floor. Riptide Lagoon miniature golf is close by if you have children. Top Bridge park is across the highway and is a good location for mountain biking. There are lots of things to see in the area, such as Coombs Market, Englishman River Falls, and Cathedral Forest. We would definitely stay there again.
