We loved our time at this wonderful Brentwood Bay home. Being right on the water offered exceptional views, the dock was a great place to hang out, availability of kayaks was great and the host was super nice and communicated well. Definitely recommend it for a fun time!

The rental was clean and well organized. Awesome stone fireplace with BBQ and table, feet away from the ocean. Owners were very friendly :)

Not only does this rental have a beautiful view of Brentwood Bay, it has direct access to a private dock. Inside our 2 bedroom was clean and quiet (there is also a 1 bedroom available). The King size bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was very well-stocked. The bathroom has good water pressure and a jetted tub which we made good use of. There is a gas fireplace in the main room which goes on and off with a flip of a switch, with wall sconces for reading on the sofa. (It's amazing how many places we've stayed with no reading lights / lamps in the living room for those of us who like to sit and read in the evenings.) Just outside the slider is a deck table and chairs (which is not shared by the other rental unit) which is perfect for sitting with your cocktail and looking at the amazing view of boats bobbing in the bay. There is also a hot tub which we didn't use but looks directly out to the bay as well. The short set of stairs from the rentals lead down to a well-kept private backyard and to the gate and stairs leading to the private dock and small rocky beach. (There is also another table and chairs down there for sitting even closer to the water.) On the dock for the exclusive use of the visitors are SUP boards, kayaks, and two chairs way at the end for sitting and watching the ferry come and go. The place is within a block of 2 good places to eat, and the ferry to take you across the Bay to the main part of the Island. The grocery store is a short drive away, as is Butchart Gardens, which was the reason for our visit. The city of Victoria is less than 30 minutes away. Check in was virtual, but the owners checked in with us via the VRBO site soon after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. They also quickly answered our questions via the site. I highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a quiet, clean, central place to explore the East side of Vancouver Island.

Butchart Gardens were the primary activity planned, so this location was optimal. Morning coffee on the waterfront couldn't be better, and the property itself is very new and updated. Heated bathroom floor was a godsend. Extremely nice hosts. Property and location was beyond our expectations. Thank you Sarah and Dallas!

The property was very nice with a beautiful view. I wish there was more privacy. We had to walk across neighbours deck and front window to enter the apartment.

We loved soaking in the hot tub in the evening and seeing the boats in the harbour all lit up for Christmas. We enjoyed the town of Brentwood and the whole surrounding area. It was convenient to Victoria and Sydney. We loved watching the ferry load and unload from our living room. It was so convenient and fun to take the ferry across to Mill Bay and explore the small towns of Cowichan, Duncan and Ladysmith. Dallas brought us a gift basket full of local treats, coffee and wine- so thoughtful. We hope to one day go back and enjoy the suite with the wonderful waterfront in some warmer weather.

Easy check in process, great communication and detail. Beautiful property on the water, gorgeous views, dock, chairs, paddleboard/kayaks to use. Comfy beds, stocked kitchen, netflix, fireplace, hottub. We were very happy here!

Wonderful stay at Mystic Cove Our host Dallas and Sarah were friendly and very accommodating The property was excellent, spectacular views , comfy beds. Walking distance to restaurants and pub Wineries and Cideries all easy driving distance We will miss our coffee on the dock in the morning Very highly recommended We will back soon I hope

Thanks for a lovely stay! We had everything we needed. The kids loved the kayaks and the hot tub. The scenery was beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. We’ll be back!

I can't say enough about Sarah and Dallas, they were very gracious hosts. The property itself was beautiful and ideal for kayakers and paddle-boarders. There was a rope swing and zip line for kids, hot tub for the adults. The itself apartment had everything you need. The area itself is a boater's paradise, with lots of local amenities, good restaurants, grocery stores etc and just up the road from The Butchard Gardens. The only negative thing I can add (and this had nothing to do with the hosts) was that their neighbour was doing house renovations early in the morning (as early as 7:30am). The outdoor table saws totally woke us up from our vacation sleeps. But, knowing that those reno's will be done soon, I would highly recommend this place, two thumbs up. We would love to stay here again. other than the sawing (which is probably done now), it was a totally relaxing paradise.

Two of my friends and I booked this suite for a New Year's getaway and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied with dishes and utensils, and the property is located in a beautiful spot right on the water. Sarah was helpful and available to answer any of our questions, and we would highly recommend this suite to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in an owner occupied house. The views over the bay are beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet. The business district is a short drive away and the bay has a couple of bar/restaurants just a short walk away.

This is a beautiful suite, the location can’t be beat. We had such a great time kayaking, paddle boarding and enjoying a beverage in the deck. The suite was clean and well equipped.

Knowing Vancouver Island well, this is one of the best locations if Bouchard Gardens and waterfront properties are high on your bucket list. The great hosts are a plus too!

Lovely place. I would have loved to stay longer. There are a lot of steps down to the units so pack light.
