Very nice property. We cook allot and the kitchen etc. exceeded expectations. Location was great with an easy walk to the plaza and soooo many great museums, shops and restaurants. Property Mgr was very responsive to a skunk visit :). Overall, EXCELLENT!

We spent 30 days at Buffalo Gal and really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable and in a perfect location for enjoying Taos. We walked everywhere in town. Loved the music on the plaza, shopping, and restaurants.
My favorite room in Buffalo Gal was the kitchen. It is a warm and inviting eat in kitchen that has every convenience built in.
There are TV’s in every room that we really enjoyed. We utilized the top end hot tub several times during or stay. It was really nice to come home to!
The only downside was the absence of outdoor furniture as pictured. No sweet red Adirondack chairs, and table and chairs under the trees in the front yard and no table and chairs in the side yard by the hot table. We were so looking forward to having the two outdoor areas to really enjoy while soaking up that cool mountain air. This was a terrible disappointment to us. The owner had placed a small table (too small for a two handed game of cards) and two chairs near the hot tub. On our arrival we found four chairs and table frame under the front trees. Management did give us a “make do” Formica table top after we complained.

I came here for a ski weekend at Taos with a couple of friends. We were blown away by the quality of the property, and especially the well-equipped and beautiful kitchen! The town of Taos is very close, and many shops and restaurants are within a half mile of the property. We would very happily stay here again.

We were visiting Taos for a few days with another couple and wanted to be able to walk to the Plaza and area shops without the hassle of parking. This casita was ideal for us. We enjoyed the layout of the property and the comfort provided. The furnishings are top notch and the kitchen is great. The bed mattresses are high and deep however! We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub too. We wouldn't recommend this for more than four adults as there are only two bedrooms and the trundle bed in the great room might not be inviting for adults (but OK for children). We felt VERY safe as this property is directly across the street from the police department and immediately adjacent to the fire station. Luckily no sirens were heard during the night to awaken us. We would recommend this property to others.

We have stayed at Buffalo Gal for a number of years in the fall. It is a very nice, comfortable home with many amenities. It would, however, benefit from grab bars in the bathrooms. The large, very heavy gate at the front is the biggest drawback. It is very difficult to open and close and may very well prevent me from renting this house again.

A good stay as always. Again, this property is very old and I would say getting older. A clean up and some paint would be a good thing. Plus the yard needs work to make it look like the picture on the website. We get by all those things as we love the location and layout.

Buffalo Gal Casita is well landscaped and has great landscape lighting for enjoying a nice evening atmosphere in the front or the back yard. The bar-b-que is housed under a roof so if it rains or snows there is no issue. Privacy gate closing off the driveway keeps the front yard closed off for pups and private for people. Great TV's in master bedroom, living room and kitchen. Plenty of towels and hangers. Close to town so you can walk to all of the great shops. A bit noisy, but that's "in town" living and if windows are closed you hear nothing. Poop bags are supplied for easy clean up after your pup family members (please do it...keep this property clean for the owners and future renters.)

Buffalo Casita was perfect. Very affordable. I paid $1,200 for five days/four nights. A lot of room for me and my two adult daughters (although I could still barely get in the bathrooms)! LOL. Loved the SW adobe, with ceramic tile floors, comfy leather couches, great kitchen set up and most of all awesome hot tub with lots of jets. Outdoor was classic SW with pretty garden in front and totally surrounded by walls and tall natural fencing. Only downside was a little noise from fire station next door but not too bad.

Me, my partner, two teen daughters and our doggie had a most wonderful stay at the casita! Very cozy & efficient. Everything we needed was present. Wood all chopped up & available to use in the quaint fireplaces (2). Great kitchen to cook in, easy to whip up after-ski meals. While the fam was skiing, me and the dog took great walks into historic Taos which was 5 min away! We will be back!

We spent three nights in this beautiful home, sharing it with another couple. It was extremely comfortable and the attention to detail amazing. We loved all of the artwork and enjoyed the wood burning kiva. The location can't be beat, just a short walk to the plaza and yet very quiet and private.
