My wife and I enjoyed our recent two days at Villa Rosa. Our hosts M&M were great and assisted us in any way to make the most of our stay. The accommodations were excellent and were perfect for us! We would definitely come back in the future!

Villa Rosa lives up to its presentation online. Beautiful Italian villa style home. Lovely setting in a great neighborhood location, with short drive to Siesta Key, stores, restaurants and markets. You simply could not ask for a better VRBO experience!

What a special place this was to stay. It is perfectly located for easy access to Siesta Key, Armand’s Circle, and walking distance to Selby Botanical Garden and the Sarasota Museum of Arts. Check in was simple. The hosts communicated through VRBO and were quick to respond. We used the beautiful jacuzzi and pool every day. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and private and there was plenty of space to store your clothes. TV had lots of choices. The kitchen space is outdoor only but it’s on the covered patio and easy to access. The hosts were very friendly and it was nice chatting with them. Don’t hesitate to book this space - it feels like your little home away from home. Thank you Maurizio and Michelle.

We came to Sarasota for a wedding. Our location could not have been more perfect. The wedding was held at Ca' d'Zan. Rehearsal dinner at the daiquiri deck so the “tasks” were covered. We were 14 minutes from Lido beach. Our hosts were gracious and available for any help/questions when we needed them. (Seldom) We spent some time unwinding on our porch overlooking the pool in total peace and quiet. Such an amazing space.

Near Lido beach, Armand Circle (15 minutes)....Siesta key (30 minutes by bike). Several good restaurants in walking distance: Michaels on East (valet service if you drive--upscale $$$) Knicks--local bar/restaurant with owners' art displayed and great grouper sandwich ($) We biked to Marie Selby Botanical Garden. The Ringling Museum was a 30 minute drive, great museum restaurant, fantastic walks. This is not a circus museum!!! Huge fine art. If you want to check out Sarasota, this is a great place to do it from.

We stayed here for the first time and loved it!!! ! It was private and centrally located to many things we visited. We enjoyed the pool , outside patio and jacuzzi. Thank you also for the complimentary bottle of wine. I am Italian and it felt like home. Maurizio and Michelle made us feel very welcomed. Thanks for a wonderful and rememberable trip. Location was great, 15 minutes to everything. Maurizio was very accommodating. Place was very clean and private.

When we arrived we were met in the courtyard by Maurizio who welcomed us and offered an espresso. Walking around the very private grounds and checking out the surroundings you couldn't help but think you were actually in Italy,. From the brick driveway and courtyard, the spacious tile terrace, the Roman pool and travertine tile jacuzzi bordered by large ornate planters, to the outdoor kitchen with the woodfired pizza oven, "tutta era magnifico"! We enjoyed espresso and a biscotti every morning on the spacious veranda. Of course I had to make my own while Maurizio made and delivered my wifes with a "this is for the beautiful lady "! After returning from St Armands Circle just 10 minutes away we enjoyed the late evenings on veranda with a bottle of the House wine provided by the owner. The view of the courtyard and pool are even better at night with the string of lights over the pool and along the fence line, and the slowly changing colored lights in the pool and jacuzzi. An occasional visit from one of the cats was also pleasing as they would allow a few friendly pets and then stroll away. The room was well appointed and comfortable with an outdoor kitchen area that had everything we needed for a four night stay. Last but not least, Maurizio was the perfect host. Easily accessible and enjoyable to talk with. He is passionate about his home, family, friends and his food.! Didn't I mention his restaurant, PRIMO? Just a easy short15 minute drive for excellent Italian food. You'll be glad you went.

The hosts are delightful and love to meet new friends. They convey friendliness and truly welcome you with European hospitality. Unfortunately, limited to the week that we stayed, the pool and back patio area were having some construction work performed so the pool illustrated in the listing was not usable. Once the work is completed it will truly be beautiful with a newly-installed hot tub. Overall, the graciousness and hospitality of the hosts exceeded the availability of the pool.

Villa styled stayed with pool. Very responsive owner with strong service orientation. Facility will be greatly enhanced with completion of upgrades and landscaping in the near future. Location is convenient to variety of tourist venues This non resort venue met our needs and would recommend

My husband and I stayed here one night in March 2022. Bathroom and bedroom were clean, good access from airport and to downtown Sarasota. Appears that patio and pool area were under repair and pool needed cleaning, so did not swim but hope next time we are there, that will be mediated.
