The condo was perfect for our group of 6 with all the right amenities for skiing. The locker at canyon was a nice addition that we all appreciated! Located in easy walking distance to canyon lodge.

This is one of those places where photos did not do it justice. The place was immaculate...they had games, they had Roku, they had fully stocked kitchen, they had firewood, they had ski lockers, they had HOOKS galore around the entire house to hang your ski gear...the best part it was a short walk to Canyon Lodge where you had two lockers reserved for you to store your skis/snowboards etc. We had an amazing time! If I had to gripe about anything...is that i wished they had 3 parking spaces instead of 2.

Our group very much enjoyed John's condo near Canyon Lodge. We have rented many in the area and also have friends who own a unit nearby and also were in town so we could easily visit one another - this unit was one of our favorites. It was nice having so many bedrooms, the beds were comfortable and the locations of the bathrooms were convenient. Having so many wall hooks was appreciated by all, as was the ski locker, close trash drop off, and the overall comfort of the unit. The owners clearly are thoughtful and know how to make renters comfortable. We would stay here again.

The cabin was perfect. Everyone had a place to hang and the environment allowed us all the relax, enjoy our time together play board games, watch movies and cook & eat a delicious dinner on one of the nights.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great place and great location. A few expected amenties were missing, which could have made it even better (e.g. hair dryers in all baths; sponge for cleaning in kitchen; plastic wrap, foil). Great having access to lockers at Canyon Lodge.

This is an awesome place to stay and ski! The house is cozy and stocked with everything you need. Easy to access the unit and walk to canyon lodge without having to worry about driving and parking. So nice to get two parking passes in the complex and access to two ski lockers in canyon lodge. Lots of beds and a great set up in the main living area, even a game table! John was really nice to work with. Our teenage boys loved going to the common area hot tub at night. The unit itself is compact so best to all be one family or close friends, but has everything you need! Owners make the check out really simple too which is a big plus when you're trying to get on the road home.

The proximity to Canyon Lodge and value of this home were unbeatable. Beds were comfy, house was warm and comfortable, and the rec room/spa was great to take advantage of. Great for our two families that came. Definitely would love to stay here again.

Incredibly well equipped and spacious cabin super close to Canyon Lodge. The ski lockers at the lodge were such a huge + as well to not have to carry gear back and forth. The owner was great and let us check in early!

I felt like I stayed at a friends house, not a short term rental. Everything seemed clean, functional, personalized, and well-loved. The owner is easily accessible and responsive, and everything worked. What a pleasure.

Great location, large comfortable condo, close to Canyon. John was amazing quick to answer all my questions. Condo stocked superbly, including firewood and lockers at Canyon Lodge making it easy to get the kids ready for skiing!

The location is ideal for mountain biking at Mammoth Mountain during the summer! My husband could bike down to the shuttle bus at the village to start and could come off the mountain and cruz directly to the condo. This condo has stellar porch views, tons of family games and the decor is “well appointed cabin”. The king and queen bed were very comfortable for table for the adults and the bunk room and twins perfect for kids. We enjoyed the complex pool and hot tub each day of our stay and had them to ourselves being that it was early September. The washer and dryer worked well. The icing on the cake for our stay was that there was virtually nothing we had to do to check out. No sheets to pull off beds or towels to gather or trash to take to a dumpster. The cleaning fee covered it all and as we have stayed in many Vrbos before, is not generally the case.

We were a party of 6 day hikers who came to Mammoth Lakes in July of 2022 to explore the many trails in the eastern Sierras.
The condo is marvelously equipped - stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils and every kind of spice you can imagine.
This condo has an extra large deck, containing a BBQ, woodpile and nice table where we sat in the evenings and talked about our most recent hike and made plans for the next one.
The upstairs bedroom has a large king size bed, there is a second king size bed in its own room downstairs, a third bedroom (which comes with its own bathroom) has two single beds, and finally there is another room with two bunk beds. In other words - plenty of space for 6 hikers! We didn't need to use the upper bunks.
The washer and dryer are full sized, and appear new and clean.
The owner is especially helpful and responsive.
If we ever return for a second excursion in the eastern Sierras, this would be my first choice of places to stay.

Mammoth Family GetAway
Great property with a lovely deck to enjoy your coffee on in the morning and bbq on in the evening! Plenty of space to spread out but with a cozy cabin feel! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all in our group of 6 adults. Just know that the mattress pads in the bunk beds are not really for adults. A bit too thin for the weight. Still a great place to stay and we would definitely come back!

Thank goodness I brought sheets to cover furniture or we wouldn’t of been comfortable. One chair is really bad (filthy sticky) had to keep screwing knob back on bathroom shower every time we used it. No screens on windows or sliding door so we couldn’t enjoy the cool weather or air out the place. One window looks like it has a screen that is completely torn which is dangerous if you have a small child because the window opens on the ground and it’s on the second level. Just not worth what we paid. $$$ they did accommodate one of our needs but still dissatisfied

I'm very satisfied and convenient!
We stayed 4 nights/5 days. all rooms were very cleaned out. we really enjoyed staying there with my friends and my family. I would suggest that replaces the old ping-pong table with the real branded one (e.g. champion, joola, stiga) in the club house.

Enjoyed our week at this property. Zero complaints. Very convenient to Canyon Lodge. Plus you get 2 lockers at Canyon with your stay. Will rent next season for sure

Cozy Family Skiing
We so enjoyed our stay @121 Mammoth West. Loved the cabin feel, wood burning fire place, the comfort of the well appointed condo. The view out the living room windows fabulous. A short walk to Canyon Lodge for skiing was a huge bonus. Made for a perfect, fun family getaway.

It’s an old lock that eventually had to be stripped for us to be able to access the condo. There were no dedicated parking spots and when we arrive the lot was full. It’s a lovely space, well stocked, but needs some repair and while it’s definitely walkable to the slopes, it takes time with little kids.

Great location and open floor plan
Proximity to Canyon Lodge and the Village was great. The open floor plan made it very comfortable for out two families to spend time together. The property manager was very responsive and helpful.

A cozy and wonderful time in Mammoth!
We had a wonderful stay at John’s place! The home is appointed with everything you will need during your trip and is so cozy and spacious. My whole family had such a wonderful time. Thank you for everything John!
